Hello. For some added info I run roughly 240 mods.....I have ran this many for years now with no issues that I could not work out on my own. I use vortex but can easily install mods with no mod manager I have been using mods since fallout 3. This problem has baffled me and im almost to the point of doing a clean wipe. I am starting new games after adjustments and I have save on fast travel disabled so that is not the culprit. Like so many others I decided to come back to skyrim for another run after a few months. I deleted all my saves updated all my mods including skse and everything that relies upon it. Also My load order never changes when I start a new play. I use LOOT. My game runs great and my pc is top of the line. After an hour of play roughly my game freezes on fast travel and becomes unresponsive. The only thing I did different was get rid of some armor/follower/weapon/house mods to make room for some of the latest mods after updating everything. I will post my load order screenshots. Ps. I was Mid Playthrough when this hit. Went to pick my kid up from school and come home and couldn't play so I came here to and saw this! Works like a charm you sir have saved my fragile mind from insanity. But seriously Thank you I hate not being able to finish a really good playthrough.

If you list any mods you have that change the dlc area in anyway I could take a look. I run about 240+ mods and have never encountered this problem.

wow I went back and did this and then when I first started up I got a ctd on fast travel. but after removing the new save and trying again it works flawless. Thanks man. really thanks you have no idea how grateful I am.

I put about 20 hours into this playthrough I use LOOT to sort my load order I'm running about 80 mods but hell ive run 150 before with no problems. I'm using a mod called become high king of skyrim V2. It is kind of script heavy. I'm also running Spouses Enhanced from another site that shall not be named. Those are the only 2 new mods that add custom animations or scripts I can think of. I am ctding no matter where I fast travel to. I do use USLEEP forgot to mention that earlier. The reason I don't think it has anything to do with those 2 mods is because my game has worked flawless up until the 20 hr mark and as ive stated once I start a new game I don't touch the load orders or uninstall or install new mods to avoid corrupt saves. Also save game cleaner tool is not detecting any orphan scripts.

SOLVED Ok i am getting constant ctds when i fast travel now even with save on travel disabled I know its not my systems problem. I have and run loot always after adding mods I never change my load order or add any new mods once ive started a playthrough I have and use TES5Edit I have save game cleaner and run it through there to check but theres no orphan scripts I use wyre bash I have skse and its memory plugin Any advice at all would help

ok you need this program techpowerup gpu-z it can tell you if your card is running hot with what you described it sounds like its running hot because when it goes over its maximum temps it will lock up like your describing I honestly think that's the problem and if it is it could be something as simple as dust buildup or a fan not working etc

that's a graphics card issue ive had something like that happen aswell. try looking up your graphics card specs and finding out its specs and download techpowerup gpu-z. theres an option to record your gpu temps etc to a file on notepad. if your gpu is overheating then that's the cause.in my case all I had to do was pull mine out and dust it with can air and it was as good as new. hope this helps

yeah its so weird because my game has worked flawlessly for awhile now then outta nowhere crash. Even starting a new game I end up ctd right after I get the dragonstone for the jarl.

Ok let me start off by saying this. Ive been playing and modding skyrim for years now and ive never had this problem before. My game keeps crashing on fast travel no matter what I do.After starting a new game and getting through the quest to retrieve the dragonstone it starts I have the latest versions of: TESVEdit (no dirty plugins) LOOT FORES SKSE Dual Sheathe Redux and all its requirements Things ive tried that didn't work Start a new game.Many new games including after a reinstall disable save on travel removed everything and completely reinstalled skyrim from the disc I know ive got my load order right I just don't know what is wrong so if anyone else has got any ideas im willing to try anything Sincerely A man who cant play skyrim :sad:

Ok I need to know if you use LOOT BOSS or TESVedit? Could you have possibly forgot to run the Patcher for Dual sheath Redux? Can you get into the game at all ? or are you just getting ctds? Also do you have Fores new idles?

Yeah I made sure they were all Unchecked and have decided to go with a clean slate just uninstalled it all. Will probally reinstall tomorrow as ive lost a lot of sleep sorting this all out lol. But thank you guys all of you for all the help as ive said im no pro at this so getting your advice to reinstall saved me a lot of unwanted head scratching lol. Thanks guys

agreed I wish I could go back to .56.1 pressing that update button was a huge mistake lol my game was flawless with 110+ mods going. Anyway thanks for your help man. Seriously it means a lot.

ok I disabled all mods in NMM and attempted to start a new game I got a load screen for 3 seconds and ctd

OK Before I start let me start by posting some stats I have the latest version of LOOT I have TESVedit I have the lastest version of FORES I have the Latest version of Dual Sheathe Redux I have the latest version of SKSE I only use NMM to install mods ....Well besides stuff like skse ofc Im no pro by no means at installing mods and stuff but im no rookie. It all started yesterday ....all my mods have been running perfect no ctds in months everything was fine. Then I finally updated NMM to the newest version 0.61.13 after putting it off for awhile. It reinstalled all 113ish of my mods and prompted me to select patchs etc for the mods that required and everything was great or so I thought. After it was all done i ran Dual sheathe redux patcher followed by generating FNIS followed by running LOOT followed by Checking it all with TESVEdit . I load up skyrim and get to the main menu and select new game. It trys to load and then ctd. Now below im going to post the things ive done to try and fix this 1. OMG NO!! put my head in my hands for about 2 mins to figure out what to do next (ok so maybe I am a noob at this) 2. went to youtube for help 3. tried to launch it with all mods disable through skse it failed 4. tried to launch it through steam with all mods disabled it failed 5. went to steam and clicked skyrim, properties, verify integrity of game cache recovered 5 missing files and tried to launch it and same thing happened get to main menu So really guys im at the end of my rope here just shy of deleting everything and reinstalled every mod/utility i have. So to be clear i know all my mods work well together ive always used them and always know when i have a bad mod in the list. I know all about how important load order is and have always used LOOT with no issues TESVEdit is not showing any problems and ive always cleaned ITM records in the mods with dirty edits unless they say not to and never had problems If anyone needs more info just ask i will reply asap Thanks in advance for any suggestions Sincerely, A guy who cant play skyrim
