  1. OK thanks for the great replies. I was thinking it might be something like that (the optional stuff when you install mod) but I wasn't really sure, it's not obvious. Got it!
  2. If you have to read tutorials and watch videos to use a mod manager, you're not doing it right. But thanks for the non-answer.
  3. For a small handful of my mods, when I enable them, I get a message up in top right saying 'The mod "xxx" has multiple plugins [Enable All] [Dismiss]" I did a search on the site, and on this forum, and on Google and I can't figure out what this means, or what I'm supposed to click. Can someone tell me what this is about and what to click? These are Fallout 4 mods.
  4. This program is really confusing, compared to NMM. I hand imported mods from NMM, first I had to go to each and every mod separately and change it's source to Nexus and click that 'guess' button. Seems like a lot of clicking for something it apparently could've figured out on it's own. Oh and I have to clear the category before I click 'guess', or it won't fix the category. Sometimes when I enable a mod, it gives a message 'The mod "xxx" has multiple plugins [Enable All] [Dismiss]", but there's nothing anywhere about what this means. What does this mean? What do I click? i'm trying to update mods I imported from NMM. Seems simple enough, right? But this thing has made it so frustrating and confusing. I got mods with multiple versions now but they say the same number. I try uninstalling one and both go away. I even tried removing both, redownloading and I get both again. Other mods, with Multiple version, I pick one, it asked me to install or replace, I pick replace, but I still have two versions. I am so confused, am I just going to have to wipe the slate clean and redownload EVERY mod I have? I really don't wanna redownload 90GB of Fallout 4 again to get it cleaned up. Can we just have NMM back? This program is really aggravating. I've been screwing with it for 2 hours now and I just wanna play my fricking game.
  5. I really couldn't find a forum category dedicated to this site itself and it's functionality. So I'll ask here, maybe someone can help me. I'm trying to load an old save game in Skyrim, but I don't have the mods installed that were in use when the save was made (I reformatted my PC some time ago.) However, when I attempt to load the game, it tells me which esp files are missing, so I've been trying to correlate the missing esp's to the mods on this site. It's mostly fruitful, but it'd be easier if I could search the site for specific filenames within mods. I know when you go to the files tab and there's link to preview files inside the mod, so the site definitely has some catalog of every file inside every mod. I just want to know if there's a way to search it so I can get the right mods installed for this save. Anyone got any ideas?
