Yeah, but it sucks I took so much time out of my day and did so much just for such a simple solution. @.@ It may be some weird set of circumstances that was causing it, but maybe it'll give some people an idea to try in the future if they have a similar issue. But yeah, still glad I found out anything at all. Just got off the game and am just glad to be playing with the beuty of ENB again. lol

SOLVED: Turns out having Dxtory open is a no-no for some reason. As soon as I closed it, Skyrim loaded fine with ENB. I literally worked on this all day yesterday when the solution only took a second... ; ;

I already have it set to that, I think it might've even been that by default. Thanks for your reply, though.

So I was using ENB fine, then out of nowhere...it just wasn't fine. Anytime I add it into my Skyrim directory, it'll load to the menu just fine, but whether I try to continue or start a new game, it just CTDs once it tries to load in. It's doing it no matter what I do. I started fresh with the game itself as well as mods, but it'll occur even if I boot only Skyrim itself (+DLC of course). I tried doing a completely fresh install, deleting local content and deleting the Skyrim folders from the Steam directory, MyGames as well as the directory in AppData/local. I think that's as fresh of an install as you can get. Of course I made sure to change the appropriate settings in SkyrimPrefs.ini every time. I tried with and without presets, mods, patches, different .ini tweaks, etc. No matter what I do, simply adding the ENB files (wrapper) into my Skyrim directory makes the game CTD. Kind of at the end of my rope here on dealing with this and I don't know what else to do. The game runs fine otherwise, but using ENB just enhances the experience so much and I'm completely out of ideas why this is happening. Any help would be so much appreciated. Thank you.

I've never been a fan of the UI design for Skyrim. I've seen it suggested several times before, but it looks like no one has ever tried to re-texture the UI Oblivion-style? It would look so much better. Are there any re-textures for it at all? Just curious. Didn't think this was worth posting in suggestions since it's more of a question.

Hello. Sorry if this has been covered before, but my friend asked me a question and it made me curious myself. Is there a way to start a new game with an existing character and all of their stats, items (if possible), etc? They want to play through it again with the same character, level and stats at least I assume and just jack up the difficulty. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I did get a response from the Cannabis Skyrim mod author. They were extremely polite and understanding of the request, so that's awesome. From the jist of the reply, I gather that they want to perfect a few things first and make the animations better then discuss some things with the co-author about making the pipe stand-alone of sorts. So hopefully it will happen and soon, but I understand their commitment to perfecting the main mod at the moment.

Yeah. I was just thinking about asking. Doesn't hurt. And I don't even think the actual plants would bother me very much at all, it's the "Your Highness" shops/signs that really turn me off to it.

I think I saw your reply on another thread after bumping this. While I don't have a problem with cannabis and such, it's not me. They did a good job but I'd rather just not have all of that in my game. All I want is a simple wooden pipe as if my character were just smoking tobacco or something. Thanks for posting that here, anyways. I'm sure it suits many other quite well. Like I said, just not for me, though.

I noticed this hasn't been discussed for a while and I don't think a mod was ever developed. Would LOVE to see a mod like this. Even just for immersion/role-playing purposes. Someone? Please?!

This. Now. Please? There are also MANY great retro flicks to pull inspiration from when modeling new hair. There's many things that are created for the game that are completely outlandish, but I don't think this would be one of them despite being a little less lore-friendly. I think for many people it would add to the experience and I think it would just be pretty awesome in general.
