I had some weird set up a year ago which let me have killmoves without the camera moving at all. Meaning, since I only play in third person, I could get a killmove to set off without time slowing or my prospective changing. Anyone know how to do this? Dance of Death can make kill moves 3rd person only, but not without the cinematic camera moving around and in slow motion. sorry I figured it out. (added [VATS] bVATSDisable=1 to my skyrim.ini)

What is a good weapons pack mod that isn't FOOK2? I had one a couple years ago that was great and I can't remember what it was. It had SKS's, Springfield Rifles, Browning Hi Power pistols, M1 Carbines, AR15s, M16s, BARs, tons more and ammo to go with them. It also integrated it into the world. On another note, I had a mod a long time ago that removed the dialogue for when NPCs get made at you for bumping into something. I can't find it now. Anyone know it? I think it was called something like "I'll touch what I want."

Whenever I am trying to manually download a mod, the pop up shows up for choosing a server, so I choose any random server in my country, the US. Then the "Downloading file Your file is being prepared for download ..." shows, and never goes away, and the download never starts. I'm using Mozilla, and I have no scripts or adblock enabled either. I also resorted to trying Internet Explorer, and it didn't work there either. Anyone know whats going on?

If a talented modder could create a high quality Paladin Tier 2 armor set mod, that would be amazing. Fond old WoW memories... T_T http://www.adventuresinpoortaste.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/judgement.jpg

It was kinda hard finding the question in there, but I think I got it. Your NPCs don't work like the problem I had, except you were quick waiting for their store inventories/gold to reset for quick armor selling? I guess just do what I did. Let their daily routines/pathing cycles run several times uninterrupted. Go out in the world and do random stuff to pass the time, then come back and see if its fixed. I believe all these Bethesda RPGs using this game engine has their NPCs reset after 72 game world hours. That's how I got the idea to just let the game run.

lol thank you guys for the support in this matter. XD Also, saying "I'm not being ____" does not undo the "____" that is said or done following the "I'm not being...", in this case being blatantly argumentative. :geek:

Yes, one hour periods. It was faster. Funny thing, because I couldn't talk to any quest NPC, I just started collecting stuff for the miscellaneous quests I had sitting in my quest log, thinking that maybe playing the game while not near cities, with no wait's and limited quick travel's, maybe it would fix itself. Like, let their AI reset after doing their programed daily routines uninterupted several times. And what do you know, after 2 hours of play, I went back to Balgruuf (Whiterun Jarl), and the blacksmith/weapons vendor, they were all interact-able again. I guess I'm a genius? Not gunna question it.

Yeah I tried many things, including that. And I totally forgot to make backup saves while playing this character. I have like 5 other characters, all with TONS of saves. For this guy, just 1 corrupt save, some autosaves and a quick save. Great work, me. Ugh, I wish "movetoqt" worked as easily as in Oblivion, I might consider doing that for the many many quests/storylines I did, then manually fill in my talent trees/skill levels. Edit: Yes, I went in and out of the blacksmith store, and quick waited many MANY times. If you ask me, that should not corrupt a save. That's just a faulty saving system. Backing up the game's files is not the optimized solution to keeping your character playable. Bethesda games are just junky.

So I was transmuting ores to gold ore, to make rings for smithing. I just kept buying from the 2 vendors in Whiterun, buying off their silver and iron ore so I could transmute it. I don't have a lot of mana, so I just waited an hour between each cast. After a while, without closing the game and messing with my saves, any files, or my mods, the vendors became un-interactable. Then that extended to every single quest-related NPC. The crosshairs don't say their name when you highlight them. So now I'm stuck. What happened? I literally just purchased ore, transmuted it(with many 1 hour Time Waits), smelted, a crafted rings.

Since every capable modder in the world seems to refuse to make an official "do not display helmet" mod, like in DA:O for example, is there an easy way to make the ancient shrouded cowl invisible? I for one an inept when it comes to modding of any sort.

Black Marsh or Valenwood. Argonians and Wood Elves are pretty cool, and should get some attention. Esweyr not so much, because it was done with Oblivion.

I would have figured it to be a released the same day the CK was. How can one not exist yet? Is it impossible to make? Because all there is, is a mod to make a helmet invisible on all NPCs and the player. Even then, some of the helmets don't hide properly. There was Dragon Age: Origins mod that added an item to your Misc items list that made it toggle on/off for the player using the item, can't Skyrim have that?
-
A display/do not display helmet mod. I don't get why someone didn't get on that on the CK launch date.
-
that's been done. starts you right at the exit to let you make your character, then you click to choose whether you left with the Stormcloak or the Imperial. Can't find it though lol >.<

First person combat is too disorienting for me. If someone would make a mod to remove all camera swaying for melee swings, that would be amazing. Though stuff like the slight camera movement when taking out your weapon or being staggered is fine though.
-
Title is all you need. I have yet to see one, only ones that edit perks or one that makes each individual helmet have an .esp to make invisible. With some of those .eps's not working.

Alright, got the 3 songs I want, and copied them. I went to skyrim/data/music and created the folder "sounds" there, and put the 3 songs in it, I'll try it out now. But what was this about scripting it?

Is this easy to do for yourself? I obviously own both games, but I have no experience what so ever with modding of or messing with files, so I don't know how to do it for myself. I assume it wouldn't be allowed to be posted as a mod on Skyrimnexus, because of stupid copyright stuff? Is it simple enough so that someone could simply tell me what to do?

I find this game claustrophobic as it is, and have been forced to play 3rd person, which is luckily good for once in a Betheda game. But I'd really like to play 1st person with FOV 85 and no camera shake. Especially with 2 hand weapons, it gets confusing where you're aiming with how much the camera turns left and right. So, anyone able to remove all camera-shake for melee swinging?

LE A mod that allows me to play a good character
lemmiwinks321 replied to Galadrew's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
This game really wasn't the greatest, I've grown to deal with that and the many many things wrong with it...I'm always a little pissed while playing, but I still deal with it. I still like spacing out and seeing every corner of Skyrim, lack of a combat system and 1 million bugs/things wrong aside. Though I would like a mod that makes you not have to frame an innocent vendor just to find Esbern, WTH is up with that? Also the choice to not become a werewolf and go slaughtering vampire hunters just because the game has limited choice. How would you get rid of the silver hand stuff in the companions quest though? They are a huge part of it. -

So is it possible to make a mod to let the player bind stuff with button combos such as ctrl+1 or shift+4, like in an MMORPG? A hotbar doesn't really fit Skyrim perhaps, but in the favorites menu, it would be so helpful for a spell caster to have more keys to work with. I guess it's a pretty obvious idea for a mod, so I guess you could assume it would take the CK to make... any modders care to weigh in?

So I'm not in to the anime-like hair and face mods. Are there any mods that help to remove the cartoony, roundish faces of Oblivion without it being anime? Also same question but for more hair styles? After over 200 hours of Skyrim, going back to Oblivion is actually jarring. Also is there a mod to slow down melee swing speed and increase damage to balance that out? That's the biggest thing for me, its like I'm swinging a feather around.
