  1. In response to post #7525528. That's because Nexus updated it to give the field focus. When the new layout was initially rolled out it required two discrete clicks. The Nexus admins responded to the constructive criticism from the community and made the fix.
  2. In response to post #7521638. Complaining? No, sir. It's called constructive criticism. Forcing the user to click more times for commonly accessed functions is poor design.
  3. It looks nice, but some aspects are worse from a usability standpoint. To access your user area, you now need to click twice instead of once. Same goes for the search bar.
  4. I was wondering what happened since I noticed that the mod was hidden on Nexus. This is really unfortunate, since WiS is such a great mod. I'm still using version 4.5 I think because I wasn't so keen on the "easy install" 4.6 version and I had assumed that Alexandrox would release another version. I can hardly blame him for getting burnt out with modding though. He was a maniac!
  5. Start with SKSE. Download it. Then follow the installation instructions in the readme. Tell me which part you're stuck on.
  6. Is it possible to get an object reference of an item type inside of the player's inventory? I'm working on a "crafting" mod of sorts. The player needs to have certain materials in his inventory for the crafting to be successful, obviously. However, I would like certain materials be good for more than one use. I can store a variable for this on an object reference, but I don't know any way to GET an object reference to a specific type of item in a player's inventory. Please help if you can. Thanks.
  7. This thread is about the effects of magnitude on the stagger magic effect archetype. I haven't found any information about this by searching the forums or the Creation Kit wiki. I would like to compile additional information from people in the community. From my own testing, I have found three distinct stagger animations that are used depending on the magnitude. A magnitude of 0 results in no stagger animation. For magnitudes from 1 to 4, the result is a minor stagger, for 5 to 9 there is a slightly more exaggerated stagger, and for over 9 there is a greatly exaggerated stagger.
  8. Damn. I was hoping that there would be an easier way. Oh well.. I guess I will just make an uninstall script and attach it to a book or something. Thanks for the help.
  9. My question requires a bit of explanation first. Using a script, I want to give the player an ability that modifies several actor values. This itself is not a problem. I already know how to do it. The problem is this: When I uninstall my mod, the actor values that were affected by the ability don't revert back to their vanilla values. How can I get around this so that my mod can be uninstalled properly?
  10. The lack of any kind of control is exactly why I don't care to use or even support Workshop at all.
  11. I haven't uploaded anything to Steam Workshop or installed any mods with it yet. So far my biggest problem with it is that there's no way to enter a search query for mods like you can on Nexus. All you can do is filter by category. What they hell were you even thinking Steam?
