  1. yep whatever was bugging out on my browser seems to have resolved, weird error I guess. Thread can be closed :)
  2. It appears that ahead of the pricing changes I am unable to purchase any existing form of premium, with no packages listed on the store. Is this intentional or will I have a chance to before the 1st of august? Was really hoping to pick up a lifetime memebership before they're withdrawn forever.
  3. Scrap everything seems to be worthwhile, the edited cells are still noticeable, but only by a loading freeze that doesn't last more than a few seconds. I'm just happy once it's done I can sprint there, and it seems the mod allows me to scrap even more materials for more realistic returns. Sometimes the skin texture problem persists, but it's rare and something I can tinker with freely. Thanks for the help all, twas appreciated. :)
  4. Sounds great, however.. I'm running into problems with altered worldspace mods such as beantown interiors project seemingly conflicting with the ini version of spring cleaning. The actual reason I want a scrapping mod is so I can clean up a few places to use conquest with, I'm going to try the switch to scrap everything and hope for the best
  5. Hahah evidently I haven't been posting here long (20 including this one), I won't lie.. I'm still learning the ropes but I'll keep that in mind :) They were creating a visible seam when I didn't have the 'body' for Valkyr installed resulted in a weird 'plastered on face' effect sometimes. Additionally I haven't had a problem with Trainwiz quest mods YET, but haven't actually commenced Maxwell's world so who knows. And finally, yes I noticed the old world tunes duplication when I updated Old world radio. Unfortunately I uninstalled the latter thinking it was the former.. so I'll have to wait on another 6gb to download. Fun. Any other advice appreciated :)
  6. Just a quick update, I found I was using an unnecessary patch for gas mask upgrades, as the raider overhaul version patch is out of date. Also solved a texture problem by downloading the 'face' along with already installed 'body' file for Valkyr
  7. Thanks for the replies :D yeah that's a great idea with the scrap everything mod, I wasn't aware it allowed me to scrap everything outside of settlements too, which is why I was drawn to Spring Cleaning. I'll get the categories pic up in a moment. And btw one thing I have noticed is on actors there's occasionally a texture line as though I'm using more than one skin related texture mod.
  8. Hi, so albeit rather new to modding I've managed to pull together close to 200 active mods with only the very occasional CTD (usually after extended play). The only other bug I've (not?)ran into is the sprinting glitch, which I believed occurred in cells when uninstalling/reinstalling the spring cleaning mod (I know rookie move should have put my character somewhere safe. I'm still early game however and while my mods are playing nice for now, I'd appreciate my load order being reviewed as a preemptive measure so I don't get screwed down the line. If anything seems like it will conflict in a way the LOOT or NMM won't notice let me know, greatly appreciated. Also if you can suggest any mods I'm missing or should consider removing that would also be appreciated, as now is the time for me to be making these decisions. Thanks and happy travels in the commonwealth and beyond.
  9. So I think I want to spearhead production of this mod myself, I've posted ideas for beginning with the B.O.S side of things here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4656420-radiant-quest-overhaul-part-1-strike-team-alpha/
  10. As it's been a while since I've heard anything about the radiant overhaul so I'm thinking of Getting a pc copy with the CK. I feel confident I can at least begin work on creating some aspects of this mod. Seeing as I've learned how to create kill npc quests I would probably start with the BOS radiant quest. Here are my ideas: TLDR: Quest imitates 'learning curve' and 'cleansing the commonwealth' combined. You're escorting and assisting a brotherhood Strike team in clearing a dungeon of hostiles. The strike team are essential and cannot be killed except by you. Doing so will make the brotherhood hostile. The mod will add a new quest giver, Paladin Commander Lance, and a Strike team of 3 B.O.S soldiers, identities yet to be determined. Completion will award 350xp, an 150 cap commission and can be repeated. Name: Strike team Alpha: *LOCATION NAME* ------------- Summary: Having completed 'A new dawn' you will be prompted to talk with Paladin Commander Lance who will be found in the dining area of the Prydwen. Upon arrival you'll be congratulated on your performance with the destruction of the institute, and he will comment that you seem capable of leading a strike team to various strongholds throughout the commonwealth. He'll proceed to ask if you'd be willing to do so, for a commission that could help buy gear off Teagan. Agreeing officially begins the quest and You'll be prompted to meet the strike team on the flight deck, awaiting in a vertibird, similar to the one used in mass fusion. The strike team will also be able to be found in the 'chilling out area' below the dining area on the Prydwen when the quest isn't active. The vertibird will fly to any one of the stronghold dungeons in the commonwealth (as well as many of the locations offered in 'cleansing the commonwealth') and you'll have to drop to the ground along with three B.O.S soldiers in power armor. They'll behave as allies who follow you, but aren't companions (like Nick in 'long time coming'). Clearing out the dungeon will proceed the same as 'Cleansing the commonwealth' and you'll receive a 'Report to Paladin Commander Lance' prompt having killed the designated 'boss' enemy. The next objective would be to report back to the Paladin Commander, which would trigger the turning in of the quest. Upon completion you'll be offered another mission, which repeats the quest. Being a radiant quest this would award around 350xp and maybe 150 caps. -------------- Hope this sounds appealing. I'd be looking for assistance in coding this and maybe voice acting for the Paladin Commander. 11. I've noticed that while the workstation and crafting benches both allow you to access anything in your current settlement's inventory, only workbenches can have scrap vacuumed out of them for factories. I think this is quite a pain, and I would really rather that any crafting station can do that same.. so that settlements with hard to access workbenches (egret tours etc) can be used as viable factories. Hopefully you share my thoughts on manual scrap loading to be a waste of time.
  12. So.. it's been like two weeks and no word on whether this is something anyone is taking on board.. I really hope modders are looking.. if they are please, give us hope!
  13. This needs to happen, the gilded grasshopper was an awesome side quest and shows you modders exactly the kind of fun you could have with this. Additionally, I think this mod makes lots of sense seeing as how far harbor's premise draws quite close to Valentine and the Agency Does it show I'm running a detective build at the moment? Additionally the triggermen and Skinny along with Nick's companion quests were of the higher quality for the game, and have created an appetite for more!! The only problem is this is going to need some talented voice actors that would be interested in Noir-style roles. I'm not all that professional but I've in writing and could put my bit in for designing some story.. but yeah quite new to all this, would be totally happy for the pros to take care of this either way, I feel a great many would benefit from this mod.. in the sense that among many builds is the desire to investigate, to explore and stick our noses where they don't belong let's scratch that itch.
  14. This would be great, but all means you and anyone else who thinks they can push this into reality in some way, go crazy haha. With my limited knowledge of mods and how they work I'm pretty sure that a focus would need to be toward the quest objectives and dialogue seeing as I imagine most of the mod will involve in-game assets. However don't let this limit your creativity.
  15. What I found missing from the game that came to my attention again recently was exactly what you see in the title, combat based faction radiant quests.. and no I'm not talking about that crap rhys sends you on. Stupid Rhys.. And that B.O.S defend the checkpoint thing.. so half arsed. I was thinking more radiant quests that vary in location AND involve npc's.. more fleshed out than go fetch or go kill this quests. examples per faction include B.O.S - Clearing the commonwealth, but with a randomized group of B.O.S soldiers assaulting a significantly harder location i.e scrapyard palace. Minutemen - Trader Distress Call, leading a group of liberty fighters to defend traders pinned down by raiders, or another hostile. Institute - Help a courser track down a synth for reclamation, amount of synths varying along with resistance and/or railroad presence. Railroad, smuggle a synth out of the commonwealth whilst being met by hostile resistance.. getting a synth from a location to a boat, or a location at the edge of the map. (institute, or B.O.S.. if both destroyed raiders) Additionally any faction could have patrol quests that involve routes that pass through or close to a hostile location, inciting a fight. I think these kinds of quest would keep people excited post-campaign, making them feel like there was a way they could always help the faction they've gone to bed with, whilst immersing the player in what you kind of see the factions doing AROUND you rather than with you. Hopefully some people talented working with in game assets like this idea. (I'm on ps4 but I thought it would be something nice for PC players at least to have even if I won't be able to access it.. looking back remembering how I wished I could be part of those patrols and search teams and such that you see around the game.) also this was my first post, sorry if I did anything wrong or out of order, it's nice to be here :D
