Just started playing Oblivion again.........Help please
HanPL replied to DMC1648's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Can you post your load order ? It looks like mod conflict/missing master files/missing races (if game crash right after starting new game ) -
Well can't really point one main reason for this since it can be casused by corrupted savegame (Oblivion likes to do that...) To much mods or conflicts. Best way is to use "New Conflict Detector " in Oblivion Mod Manager or do it the hard way by disable all mods, launching the game and check if problem still occur, if not them slowly eps by esp check what is causing the problem.

First post screen with your problem. But I think you mess up with races or use race that is strictly for male/female Eg If you play as a male and pick race that is only for females (dont have male meshes/textures ) you will get sand like look.

Well you can use "Goranga restaurant job " :D

Yep Francesco's Mod can do this, mod removes the level "balance " so at lev 5 you can meet lev 24 monster who will chew you and then spit out :P

Could I run oblivion on this computer?
HanPL replied to DayDreams's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Do not trust this page it always gives false info (eg when I had one single core processor, acorind to this page I had no chance to launch Assassin Creed...wile in practice game was running smooth on medium/high details. Labs are mostly focusing on showing how "old " is your PC and that you need to BUY new one. -
Latest patch (1.2.0416) won't install
HanPL replied to Xenobuzz's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
I had that problem too but thing that fixed it for me was downloading patch from here http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11364 Oblivion Shivering Isles 1_2_416 English -
Hello all Recently I had to re-install oblivion (I did remove ALL files + reg entries ) After installing it again I applied 2 mods changing female body 1. HG EyeCandy Body http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15802 and then 2.High Rez Skin Textures for HGEC (over 5GB after unziping ) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20022 Now every female body model looks like this (funny thing is that front looks normal but back looks like this ) *Warning screen contain some adult material ! (naked buttocks and nipple  ** http://i54.tinypic.com/2hy89dt.jpg Im almost sure there must be a conflic but is there any way to resolve it using ArchiveInvalidation or by removing H EC body ?
-
Try using HGEC body http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15802 Files is OMOD Ready. So just double click on HGEC Body 1.21.omod or copy/paste it to obmm/mods folder and then launch Oblivion Mod Manager and activate the mod.

Hmm I dont have this mod but maybe that tips will help you. ->Try to look in your houses ->If you cant find them anywhere : Disable mod then enter game SAVE and exit Then enable mod again and see if quest (?) will trigger again or companions will spawn where they should. Also maybe one of your new mod is causing the conflict and that's why your companions don't show up, try using conflict detector. (Oblivion Mod Manager > Utilities > New Conflict Detector ) and check if there are conflicts with your Companion mod.

Hi Maleagant. Body replacements are mostly Omod ready so use that option (Open Oblivion Mod Manager > Create > Add Archive and select the file ) Also try using Archive Invalidation ( Oblivion Mod Manger > Utilities ) If you have a lot of mods, make sure you use BOSS to sort out your load order , also Wrye Bash is recommended :)
-
Try using THIS guide maybe it will help you
-
Well with that amount of mods I think it would be NOT normal to not have crashes :P Probably there is some kind of duplicate script/item or many other thing's that are crashing your game. Only solution is to disable the one making conflicts or..game re-install and downloading mods that you really need. I made that twice and Im not regreding it now my oblivion runs smoothly.
-
Yep reds = conflicts you can click on + on that mod and it will open list in which you can check what i causing the problem (mostly two mods using the same NPC/texture/scripts etc )) Try to disable mods which have conflicts and then launch game.
-
Well you could just copy your DATA folder somewhere else and then re-install game, and put back mods you want to DATA folder. That would take a while and can't be sure that all mods will work but that seems to be the best option... or make new Windows User account and install game on new profile

Oblivion Mod Manager http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097 After installing lauch it and click on Utilities > New Conflict detector to check. Also like I said earlier try using Wrye Bash/ BOSS to sort out load order list.
-
Hmm not sure if it's possible but you can try to right click on DVD > Open and try to looking for setup.exe That should launch installing process.
-
I also had problem with Deadly Reflex (CTD) while using any spell, in my case solution was disabling Deadly Refles and then enter game play for a few min then save > exit > enable Reflex again and all was working. Im also using Fracescoo mods so that's not the problem. But I would recommend to disable "UOP Vampire Aging & Face fix.esp Francescos 10days respawn time.esp Also check if there is any mod conflict using Mod Manager > Utilities > New Conflict Detector.
-
Crash while saving is mostly caused by mod conflicts, you can use Wrye Bash or Oblivion Mod Manager to check what is making conflicts with your game > Mod Manger >Utilites>New Conflict Detector. See what makes conflict and try to disable that mod(s).

toolset out of memory error
HanPL replied to blue49's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Troubleshooting
I read somewhere that Toolset requires 8GB memory or more to open save ga,es larger than 1(!) mb... so its quite common problem. I was only able to edit early save games becasue the later I was getting the same problem as you. -
Hmm can you put the link to that mod ? There should be some kind of read me, if not try to contact author of the mod ?
-
Hmm launch BOSS to sort out your mods then use Oblivion Mod Manger/Wrye Bash to check if that mod have any conflicts with other mod, also not sure if that may help but try to change graphic settings to high, since I saw that kind of weird looking textures and it was caused by to low graphic settings.

CTD After Starting or Loading a Character
HanPL replied to Excalibuurr's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Im almost 100% sure that you have mod conflict error, that's why you get CTD while new game saving Try using Wrye Bash or Oblivion Mod Manager > New Conflict Detector and check what is causing the problem. Also there is one fast way :P Uncheck all mods and see if it will help.
