  1. Try to run the game without any mod installed. If you still have strange artifacts...(i had the trees that lost textures and even without any mod no textures on them) a clean install of the game and the whole reinstallation of the plethora of mods... It's a pain i know, but now i have a lvl25 new char (with more than 80 mods on) with no crash at all (just one for nvidia driver error though, but not related to Skyrim)
  2. List of mod installed? BOSS list of mod installed? Did you tweak skyrim.ini?
  3. Version 1.9 is still full beta and he should request that upgrade intentionally by Steam. The game wont be upgraded automatically until the final release. Maybe you should be sure you installed SKSE version 1.6.9, compatible with runtime 1.8.151.0 and not the version 1.6.11, compatible with beta runtime 1.9.29.0 ( for the 1.9 version of skyrim)
  4. First of all you should clean the files by TES5EDIT. Second you should check by WRYE BASH if the mods are correctly flagged with the DELEV RELEV flag suggested. Then build the bashed patch (with wrye bash) of those mods, and place the result file BASHED PATCH at the very bottom of your list of mods. I think the problem should be on those IMMERSIVE WEAPONS placed after cloacks, problem that SHOULD be solved as u make the compatibility patch. P.s. you should even download UNOFFICIAL SKYRIM PATCH and UNOFFICIAL DAWNGUARD PATCH, solving a lot of issues with gameplay
  5. May i ask why if you sorted the masterlist by BOSS you manually reordered the list? Is because of some unrecognized mods? If you still have those issues you should try to disinstall ALL mods you have and make a run of the game to see if those artifacts or those CTD's still happens. Then add one by one the mods about graphics enhancement and give a run again, until you notice the errors you are talking about, and you will have a big hint on what mod give you headaches. It's a tedious and long work, i know, but sometimes it's the only way to get rid of those strange things. Even check the LOCAL FILES of the game by inside Steam, just to be sure there are not any corrupted file.
  6. Can i ask you to post the whole log of BOSS about your installed mods? Just to check...
  7. Yes, correct. But beware, i didn't say the one is better then the other, FOR MY PERSONAL TASTE, the HD 2K textures one is better than the official one, just try by yourself the one u would like the better
  8. MMMMMMMMMMMAGIC!!!!!!!!! lulz I thought that even or the box of the game is clearly written that the game NEEDS Steam to run.... ;D and still there is people that hate Steam and buy the boxed game and want to play...tzk...tzk...tzk
  9. I have installed the HD 2K textures and i am very happy of it. From my point of view is better to use one or another not both.
  10. http://code.google.com/p/better-oblivion-sorting-software/downloads/list B.O.S.S. is the friend you really need ;D
  11. In the list of your tools i didn't read about TES5EDIT. It's an important tool used to clean mods from unwanted garbage. I did a clean install of Skyrim last week, installed +80 mods, cleaned myself with TES5edit, sorted the masterlist with BOSS and made patch of compatibility amongst mods with Wrye Bash. I have made a new fresh char, playing until level 25 and had only one crash (due to graphic card drivers not to Skyrim). Hope it helps, Cheers
  12. What mod are youtalking about? If there is not the name into NMM (very strange i have to say) try to download WRYE BASH and look for that phantom mod there, select and delete it. Cheers
  13. Good morning. Did u used BOSS to sort the masterlist of files? If nothing appears after you donwloaded it, 99% of times is due to wrong position inside the masterlist of mods (check NMM list). Hope it helps. cheers
  14. Did u clean the list with TES5EDIT for errors? Did you use BOSS to put order in your mod list? Did you use WRYE BASH + BOSS to do a bash patch to prevent some errors? Doing those things helped me a lot (not 100% indeed but 90%) in preventing strange CTD's around Windhelm and Whinterhold. Cheers :)
  15. Are u running vanilla Skyrim or heavy modded one? I am having the same issus, but i am aware that there are not too much mods patched to be compatible with it atm. I just have to uncheck it from the list and wait patiently until some mods patch are released.
