  1. You know, in all honesty, I have actually been working on something like this. Using the textures from the ultima keyblade retexture on the skyrimnexus site, I have managed to make a stand-alone ultima keyblade weapon. However, I've been having quite a bit of problems, such as no inventory icon, finding a way to put buffs on these keyblade weapons(If you look at the powers that are given to the keyblade weapons in the game series, you'll notice a lot of the keyblades have effects that target the wielder and not necessicarly the poor victim on the blade side), and just getting what I want in general. I've been trying to work on making a weapon version, because it would probably be more powerful since it can benefit from smithing upgrades. However, I think it would be better if I just create a 'bound' reusuable power version of the weapon. Frankly, the power issue can be easily resolved: Create a mod that allows bound weapons to be just as powerful as fully upgraded regular weapons by adding more mystic weapons perks. Plus, on top of that, the keyblade wielders almost always conjure their weapons, and it might be easier to sneak the beneficial effects in. Might, mind you. Odds are, I probably won't ever be able to create something worthy of release, and if I do, it'll be extremely limited considering I can't import the Elder Scrolls IV keyblades and I have 0 ability to use or learn artistic skills. If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath, and I wouldn't cross my fingers. But I will say someone out there is definately trying to create keyblades for skyrim. Who knows when, or if they will be released? It intrigues me greatly...
  2. Ok, what I ask is probably going to, with little doubt, give me a answer of no, because of how 'impossible' it may seem. Is it possible to have a spell 'instantly' cast itself upon drawing your hands with either r or clicking on the mouse? (I.E.: If you wanted to instantly summon a bound weapon by clicking, would it be possible?)
  3. Not sure. I gave up a few weeks ago after how much of a headache it was and how bad the camera controls are. Might be willing to give it another try though, seeing as I used a older version of the creation kit to fix my Morrowind save after I did something totally out of line with the game's plot. I think some of the biggest issues with the creation kit I have are graphics(I have no skill in art whatsoever), using the camera and moving stuff on a 3-D level.
  4. Ok, so here's a rather interesting question: I am trying to put effects that would benefit the wielder onto a weapon using the creation kit. Unfortunately, it seems as if whenever I try to add the group of enchantments on my weapon, it does not show up at all. Is there any way I can 'force' these types of benefical effects on a weapon, or is there no way to circumvent this?
  5. Well, I just tried importing some weapon graphics from one of Oblivion's mods, and unless I did it wrong, its not working. The errors I get as fallows: Textures: (null) : (null) is missing a diffuse map Textures: (null) : (null) is missing a normal map MASTERFILE: (BSStream Error) NIF BSversion is too old in meshes\weapons\One-Winged Angel\KHOneWingedAngel.nif. So I will assume that, graphics wise, you might need to start from scratch.
  6. Ok, so here's a rather interesting(If not noobish) question regarding the new creation kit we just got: "Can we import mods from previous games(Like Oblivion) into skyrim at all?" So far, it looks like the answer is looking dim...
  7. You know, I would love to see Vvardenfell again, especially in Skyrim, but there seems to be one conflict I have that makes the whole thing questionable: "Didn't the volcano there erupt and cause the land to be uninhabitable?"
  8. Wander around, use my imagination, maybe finish up on a few things and do a few others. The only 'major' thing I haven't done yet is finish the bard's college stuff, but in all honesty, I really do not have inspiration to keep going, because overall, I was kinda disappointed in the progress of the guild stuff when compared to oblivion. It's too bad I can't have a nice chat with the dragon at the throat of the world though, I feel as if he could have some much needed dialog.
  9. Another reason why steam failed. I almost find it funny that, while we don't mind adding a donation box, we do mind if we're charged up front for the product. Another flaw in human thinking that I despise. But, moving right along... This is BIG. No wait, big is a understatement, this is HUGE. Not only copyrights, but also profit? I swear every day I find more and more reasons to hate steam...as well as more and more reasons why there should be a non-steam mod for Skyrim. Which, of course, would open up a whole new door of piracy if it was ever made, unfortunately, but at the same time, its almost ironic, because Gabe Newell himself commented on how poor service tends to be releated to piracy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLC_zZ5fqFk But back on topic, I see the steam workshop as BAD now. It's BAD. BAD BAD BAD. I thought it 'might' actually be good because it would be convienent to download and install mods, but if they're going to just charge up the rear end and label copyrights on them, forget it! I will stick with skyrimnexus than deal with the s*** steam workshop manufactures. Steam workshop is bad, people. The only way I think we are ever going to get a message to steam is to protest...it worked for L4D2, why not Skyrim?
  10. I don't care how much people are going to hate me for what I say, but I am going to say it anyways. YOU. PEOPLE. ARE. ABSOLUTE. WHINERS. I have never seen a 'good' game get so many complaints like this before about it. I won't lie, there are flaws with it, but every Elder Scroll game has had some sort of flaw, bug or something unlikable, whether it be minor or major. The Elder Scrolls V seemed more like a 'evolutionary' title than a 'revolutionary' title like the Elder Scrolls III or IV was, which may explain a bit of the player complaints. But geez, the complaints I see are so bad that if I overlooked the work at Bethesda, I would step out and make a controversial move by saying, "Sorry, but the only thing we're releasing for you players is the creation kit. If you want these bugs to be fixed, or new content released, YOU do it. We're giving you the tools, now YOU fix the bugs for us and make the game better in any way you want, because after all, you practically outdid us 2 weeks after we released the game with all sorts of things. Plus, we have decided to take the meaning of "Do whatever you want, and create whatever you want" to the next level. See you in Fallout 4." Oh, and the memes are just absurd and stupid. I can come up with stupid stuff too and post it on youtube, and do this and that, and jerk around in front of the pc all day, and keep making "and" statements thinking im cool, but I choose not to. End of line.
