I think this might be an INI issue because I tried forcing the splash screen to make changes to fallout.ini and falloutprefs.ini. Starting it with 0 mods and 0 scripts sorta fixed it, but starting it with NVSE still makes the bug persist. I'll try and explore more options from here.

I think you misunderstood me. This happens even when I disable all my mods and the bug occurs before the main title options even show up. I'm not sure if a corrupted save could do something like that, but I'll see what happens if I clean out the folder.

Every time I start the game up something very strange occurs as soon as the menu options start to appear. I seem to be immediately thrust into the game with a black screen but with broken UIl. The game immediately crashes afterwards. I tried starting the game without any mods loaded, but the issue still persists. I was able to get a picture of what results after the menu loads. Opening up a chest with weaponry or storing weaponry in storage randomly results in a ctd. The result can sometimes be as quick as opening the chest or storing about 5 or so weapons before it completely blips. I've tried numerous things including: Using the papyrus log to see if any strangeness occurs. Unhelpful so far.Disabling mods that might be affecting that sort of thing. Also unhelpful.Testing on other types of items. No CTD.Using LOOT for my load order. Also didn't help.Cleaning scripts in my save. Do it if you really think you can pull it off well. If you have any lasting doubts, don't do it. You have a really compelling story so far and I would really hate for you to ruin it with sappy romances. They have to be meaningful and have an impact, such as altering dialogue, or etc. On the other hand, random hitting on and flirts are always nice.

Can you get a sorter to work in the next update so I can list mods alphabetically? You had it in FOMM.

Whenever I load up Creation Kit and select multiple master files it gives me the "Multiple master files loaded. Operation aborted" error. Now before you go on and say "Open SkyrimPrefs.ini and copypasta ballowmultiplemasterloads=1 under General" I already did that, yet I'm still getting the error. What am I doing wrong?
