I have a legit copy of skyrim with all it's DLCs. I do not have any mods that concern vampires. (I will list my mods at the end of this post). My problem lies with the vampire quest line of dawnguard. I can play through the beginning of the story properly but when I get to the point where I join the vampire side. I accepted the gift and got "turned into a vampire". Completed the tutorial for being a vampire lord. But, after this is when it all goes to hell. As soon as I leave the "tutorial room" everyone becomes hostile to me. I don't understand why but I do know this is a bug from Bethesda. So i scrounged around for some fixes ....... No luck ... The most I got was (since I'm a nord this is what i entered) "player.setrace nordracevampire" and then "set playerisvampire to 1". No luck for me ..... Everyone still seems to attack me. i also looked all over Skyrim.nexusmods.com for a fix, still no luck, only a fix for custom races which i don't have since I play as a vanilla race. So far the only way around this that I have found so far is to pretty much make it so I don't even exist by using "tdetect" but I'd much rather a better solution than having to hide my existence every time I need to talk with this faction. Also, i do have all the effects you get from being a vampire but my appearance isn't that of a vampire . My eyes are still the same as before . So the only thing I can really think of is this is because I'm using CBBE, pretty face, pretty lips, and maybe RANs headmesh variants ???? Here's my list of mods.

K .. I have Skyrim version 1.6.89.0 (I have checking this several times under TESV - properties - details - current version) I have installed and downloaded the latest version of SKSE (1.5.9) from http://skse.silverlock.org/ which is where i have downloaded it from everyyy timeeeeeeee (i have checked the read me for this skse ive installed it the same way everytime and everything properly installed .) BUT ... Whenever I launch my game it says "Your game version is NOT supported, supported patches: 1.1.21.0(31oct11), 1.1.21.0ceg(18nov11), 1.3.7.0(06dec11), 1.3.10.0(18dec11), 1.4.15.0(23jan12), 1.4.21.0(01feb12), 1.5.24.0, 1.5.26.0" It seems that this happens every other time that an update happens >=( so then I'm s.o.l. and cant play and by the next time I decide to try and there is an update and i can finally play again, I spend more time updating and installing mods than I do playing and its really starting to urk me .... So plz help and I refuse to update again >=(

I know there are a few Skyrim zombie mods already but I am not very pleased with those >.< lol .. I think it'd be cool to have a zombie mod in Skyrim that is similar to this mod from Fallout: New Vegas; http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/37067 . But, with better looking zombies o.o .. Just saying lol Also to have an enable option so there isn't now a zombified skyrim in all of my character saves xD If someone makes this mod or even finds a mod that is like this .. Please do inform o.o

Heyy, the topic is pretty self explanatory ... I tried editing Iona (Riften house carl) . She looks a lot better now but the downside is is that having a friggin purple forehead kinda looks funny =/ I'll upload a picture of her and her weird ass forehead if you want . But I don't really think it's necessary, thanks .

So ever since the CK finally came out when I try to start my game (only recently) it will literally crash 9/10 times (will be successful the first time then 9 times it'll fail then it'll repeat) . Since this is really weird/unique thing and I couldn't find it anywhere (other than fixes I have done since I got the game) . I have NOT gotten any new mods since I just got FONV and bin playing that while waiting for some cool mods to come out from CK . I did get that stupid "high quality DLC" but I removed it since it conflicted with other texture mods that I prefer over this texture pack and it makes some realllyyy funny looking textures (I've the "sexy whiterun, riften, etc." series along with rock, road, building, grass, tree, pretty much everything is re-textured) But now I'm experiencing this reall weird friggin bug =/ Any suggestions ? My game is still playable it's just really annoying if I have to close it down for what ever reason and plan on coming back . Then I have to wait 20 minutes for it to stop crashing before I can play .

I can't load my saved game now . I figure it's this "memory leak" or something that everyone is talking about but I started a new game and I haven't crashed yet . So I know that that save is corrupted in some way . But what I want to know is if and how I can fix it cause I got pretty far and that game and I'm pretty bummy that I have to start over =/

And now I can't play 15 friggin minutes without the game crashes . And this game has bin out for how long ? and nobody knows how to fix this ? Hmmmmm Well isn't this ironic . :dry:

So your saved geck file is placed in your date folder but wont appear into your nv start up data file ?

What I always do when it comes to textures and meshes, is I open up my BSA browser (in FOMM / Fallout Mod Manager) and I go to where ever my game files are . In my case programfile(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/FalloutNV/data . In your data folder there are a bunch of "BSA" files and for NV it should be called "fallout - meshes , fallout - misc , fallout - sound ... etc." Well I open up my "fallout - textures" file in BSA browser and I extract it into my data folder . And then I do the exact same thing with my meshes . (it'll probably take bout 10 min) . I don't really know if it is completely necessary to do this but I do it anyways and it always ensures that all my "texture/armor replacers" actually replace and not crash my game or in fallouts case .. End up as one over sized friggin check mark . If you haven't already fixed the issue yet, or if you need it in the future or w.e, hope this helps =)

Did you make sure that it is in your data files ? And also when you open GECK can you still reopen the file and continue on with your previous file ? cause it should be saved into your data folder unless you saved GECK somewhere else by any chance . And with the saving thing, if you set the file you want it to save to, set it as an "active file" that way when you check it and open the file itll save to that file you want it to save to . (sorry if its not much help xP)

I figure there is probably already a forum or a fix out there but NV randomly crashes at any given time . I tried to use the bUseThreadedAI=1 iNumHWThreads=1/iNumHWThreads=2 but that didn't work and I can't seem to find one that does . I just got this game not too long ago so I don't have many mods and I saw that apparently several people dealt with this problem . I use a nvidia card and thats the most I really know . I can't remember much about what I have in my computer but all I know is that I can run skyrim perfectly fine without lag or crashes so my comp is pretty good . But if someone could redirect me to a forum or mod that fixes this B.S. that'd be great thx =)

Heyy, I'm fairly new to this whole "modding" thing and I want to make a house mod . I can easily add/remove items, position items, and add lighting . Simple . But, the problem is that I want to be able to make this "house mod" available to others and my other saved games and such and I don't really know how to do that ? I figure you have to make it an .esp file basing it off of some other house mods that I have downloaded (dovahkiin hideout, etc.) and I would like to crack em open to take a peek on how they did it so I can do it myself but no such luck as it comes up in some weird coding ? So how exactly would I be able to renovate my home and add the renovations onto skyrimnexus.com ?

Finally someone who shares the same opinions !!!! I 100% agree !! The critics were way too soft . Like this game has way too much potential and Bethesda just took a MAJOR s*** on this game ... =/ I agree with the kid thing too I mean like kids shouldn't be aloud to play games like this so F*CK them make a game for adults ! Like really . But even so kids play Gears of War 3 which is really gory and with a lot of language ! So why can't this game have it ...? And the thing with Vampires, someone actually made a mod that makes Vampires more like Vampires .. Hmm tbh I'm glad I got this game for the pc so I can at least enhance it with other mods and such but really I find their other game (new vegas) a bit better role playing wise .. I'd be more satisfied with skyrim if the actually got their asses in gear and released CK and just fixed their damn bugs ! Also if they combined new vegas, skyrim and fable 3 together (skyrim with a better story, new vegas with the gambling, addictions, and faction wars, and fable 3 with being able to hold a job (in a kitchen or as a blacksmith etc. ))

I could very easily just give myself the key to the house via console but I am still unable to upgrade it . and tbh I reallyyy realllyyy reaaaallllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy don't want to spend a week in console commands renovating the house so it looks half decent xP

Hmm yes I saw but you see I created an alternative start (thief RP alternative start aareiana) so I don't have the main quest active or anything like that, just doing the quests for the thieves guild and being a theif and so on . I'd much rather own a house in solitude for it is the best house but the house in riften would be the most convenient seen as how I spend majority of my time there plus I can store all my goods and what not . And it's not so much that it is ruining my game it's the point behind it all . I'm tired of having to go onto tesvwiki and and here asking for help on my newest glitch and spending countless hours trying to fix it every other day . I got this game in january and ive prob spent more time trying to fix the stupid bugs than I have playing the game =/

I don't think I've ever heard of this glitch but I don't really know if there is a fix (seen as how your console and this is mainly pc talk) for ps3 beside having to reload 20hrs back .. If you were pc I'd say try ~ kill "refID" then ~ resurrect "refID"

So I've gone through the process of being able to buy honeyside . I talked to the yarl and she said that she would appoint me stewart if I bought a house in riften . Bt the problem is is that there is NO DIALOG to buy honeyside . Does anyone know of a fix or is this issue not clear enough ??

Don't get me wrong this is actually my favorite game since new vegas, BUT the thing that makes me want to whip this game out my window is the fact that I'm CONSTANTLY having to make a backup save every flippin hour or I have to spend countless hours trying to find a f***ing fix in the console for these god forsaken bugs ! :wallbash: My most recent bug is one where I'm completely unable to purchase or buy a house in Riften . I've completed that stupid skooma quest, cleared out the cave, helped that bum that works in the stables out with his debt problem (well not really I just talked to her and she paid me to drop the topic :dance: ), and practically every "helping hand" quest you can do in riften . So off to "reach" or whatever it's called I went, talked to the yarl and she said "Oh your so awesome doing these nice thing in my city .. BLAH BLAH BLAH .. I'll present you yarl if you purchase a house .. :happy: " Me: Ok, sounds great .. Really the only reason why I helped those dumb f*cks in the first place ... But here's a question for you your highness .. How the hell am I suppose to be announced thane if I buy a house if you don't even give me the friggin option ?! :verymad: :wallbash: " I don't know bout any of you but these small no HUGE pains in the ass makes me wants to move on till Bethesda gets ontop of their friggin game or a group of modders can actually do a better job than them >:( And I just figured I vent some steam and see if I could get a fix .. once again .. for this stupid glitch ..
