About LiveAndLetLive

  1. I think I saw this last night on the workshop. It was called ring of invisibility iirc. Yeah, but that one doesn't work. After you attack you only look invisible, you are very much detectable. What I am trying to achieve is Sneak -> turn invisible -> stealth kill bandit(or whatever) -> turn invisible I want the character only to become visible for a split second, cutting the throat, just to turn invisible again with all enemies being none the wiser. I need a script that applies an invisibility effect when I enter sneakmode, and reapplies it after I kill. It kinda work with the regular Shadowcloak of Nocturnal, but i want it as a permanent ability, and without having to do the Thieves Guild questline. :/
  2. I have trouble with making an "invisibility while sneaking" ability. I did check out a mod about that, but it isnt what i am looking for. I am thinking a permanent "shadowcloak of nocturnal", but i have not been able to make it happen. help would be greatly apprechiated. the mod already posted just LOOKS like invisbility, you are not hidden from enemies if they see you and you enter sneakmode.
  3. Not a bad idea, but reusing meshes and textures from the old games (Oblivion) is not allowed, apparently. (bullsh!t if you ask me) You would have to recreate all parts involved, as in Landspace, Sky, Lava, Flora and Fauna (skamps, all the plants, even the mines and towers) Also, I wouldn't recommend using the Atronach Forge. Though it makes somewhat sense, editing the atronach forge may result in bugs. I don't see the point, though. The plane of oblivion was lame back in oblivion (heh), why should it be better now?
  4. Are you f****** high? Piracy is free, that is the point! Pirates do not profit from it, they just share content. What you mean is bootlegging, and that thing doesn't fly in these lands, you could just download it. I know this site does not endorse piracy, but really, all allegations are blown out of proportion. It is not theft, they do not lose money, they just don't get any.
  5. That might be doable, an Argonian occupied Mournhold. But what conflict is there? Solstheim has Dunmer and Nords, both potentially hostile, a big clash waiting to happen. But what does Mournhold have? All Dunmer deliquents would have been killed by now, and those who remain (if any remain) would have submitted to argonian order, no? Is there anything on what happened to the Hands of Almalexia? Did they quit, went insane? All lichs and blights and dwemer machinery in Mournhold has been eradicated. But making Mournhold sounds like a much better idea, though one would need a dedicated artist who makes all the meshes and textures, since you can't recreate it with only Skyrim resources. It has a very unique style.
  6. I thought it held dunmer remnants and nords who are not too happy about it. Where did you hear that solstheim was destroyed? @lachdonin i doubt argonians are in solstheim, most of them went back south. same goes for the telvanni lands, argonians left. Also, ravenrock went bankrupt years ago (oblivion crisis) EDIT: ran from the argonians, not the argonians ran. my bad
  7. This is what i mean, the problem is that it's going to be boring, and take way too long. Big space and little to do, and what there is to do is not that exciting and grabbed out of thin air. Better focus on a smaller worldspace, pack with tension and promise. Struggle and confrontation is the fun. If anybody cares, do Solstheim. Holds more promise, and is actually doable
  8. Well the Redoran are "mostly" gone, "remember redoran" and all that. I recall reading drea and inforil were obliterated. And since dres and indoril were in the south... well you can imagine what happened when the argonians invaded. There are no territories left, argonians have reclaimed them. They even annihilated the telvanni, and they were undoubtedly the most powerful house of all. all telvanni secrets have been lost or taken by the crown, and i doubt argonia will let anything like telvanni or dres rise to power. and the ebony caves (all caves for that matter) will have collapsed or been buried underneath ashes (for the most part anyway) only hlaalu might have assimilated well into imperial culture, already having deep ties with the empire. i honestly think only thehlaalu might have a chance to repopulate morrowind (or whats left of it), and being empire friendly i can see the empire assissting them, should the empire be able to resolve their thalmor issues. Otherwise i doubt resources and manpower will suffice. But rebuilding is often tedious, and not very exciting. A civil war on Solstheim would be much better, nords and dunmer fighting for it. I don't know man, i feel like people could put their time into better projects.
  9. "The Blight is a weather phenomenon associated with Vvardenfell's colossal volcano, Red Mountain. Persistent within the Ghostfence -- that is, within the crater and on the volcano's slopes -- and intermittent near the volcano, the Blight is a health-threatening, ash-heavy volcanic cloud. Plants and creatures exposed to the Blight may contract a variety of blight diseases." "Since you slew Dagoth Ur on Red Mountain, the Blight is gone. But many creatures affected by the Blight have survived, and are still a problem. And it may be that creatures can get Blight from contact with the ash that has accumulated for centuries in the wastelands. So it may be a long time before we are completely free of the effects of the Blight." 200 years is not a long time for elves I love Morrowind too, but no great houses, everything destroyed... it just really isn't that great. And this was originally about the great houses and empire/thalmor. but as i said, none of that is lore. houses are dead and the empire/thalmor have no stake in such a ruined place. only minor questing can happen, nothing big.
  10. Corprus was an important part of the main quest, therefore you could not have caught it, it would have broken it. Obvioulsy lore-wise you were very able to get infected by it. I assure you, that the blight still is a problem after the defeat of dagoth ur. and i remember that it is in the ashes, it has been clearly stated in the game, as that it is your duty to protect morrowind from its infected creatures. but finding a quoe that could have been made by anyone is a pain, as you might now. just take my word for it. "Red dust from Red Mountain. Grass dies, kwama and guar go mad, bite and fight. Hunters cannot find food. Herders get sick, watch the herds die. Lands to the west belong to Urshilaku. Lands to the south belong to Zainab. And to the north? Water and monsters. No safe haven for the Ahemmusa." yakum hairshashishi "There is bad magic in the dust from Red Mountain. The grass dies, the kwama and guar go mad, bite and fight. These are very hard times for the tribes, so the tribes go raiding. Here there is not blight, and I live in big house and get rich and soft like a fat trader." ashlanders While the dust remains blighted and infecous, the actual storms have ceased. No new dust is leaving Red Mountain, but it remains toxic. Therefore the erruption will spread blight, though to a lesser extent.
  11. "I've got a potion. In theory, it should cure corprus. Doesn't work, though. Probably kill you. Killed all my test subjects. But you've got nothing to lose. Before I give it to you, I want you to look around below in the Corprusarium. Know what's in store if you don't take the potion. And while you're there, I want you to pick up a pair of boots from a victim, calls himself Yagrum Bagarn. My oldest patient. Handy fellow, fixes things for me. Bring the boots back, and then you can have the potion." "I'm sorry. The divine disease can't be cured. And the Temple will demand that you be imprisoned here in my Corprusarium, to protect the health of others. A pity. You had better put your affairs in order. The course of the disease varies. Sometimes it's rapid, sometimes very slow. I would hurry, if I were you. Now, excuse me." "The magical principles of corprus disease are elusive and miraculous, far more subtle and powerful than any conventional sorcery or enchantment. I'm persuaded that it is in some manner the curse or blessing of a god. Perhaps both a curse and a blessing. The victim, of course, cannot appreciate the marvelous nature of corprus. It saps the mind and destroys the body. But to a wizard, it is a profound and glorious mystery, a riddle worth a long lifetime of study." "It worked, didn't it? Remarkable. Perhaps it will work on the other inmates. I'll have to proceed carefully, of course. You may be an exceptional case." I may have been wrong about the blight remaining int he ashes, though. I guess this relates to blighted creatures, which DO remain, but not the blight storms. But that does not mean the blight has been eradicated, since you still can catch it (theoretically) after the main quest, while people exclaim it is gone.
  12. Divayth states that he tried it on others, but never worked. You are safe to assume that only the Nerevar will be cured by it. And some Dunmer states that your duty is not over, that many blighted creature remain, and that the blight is in the ashes, and that you have to protect vardenfell from it. And, no, i just don't find you funny.
  13. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Faded_Diary http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lymdrenn_Tenvanni%27s_Journal ^Lore
  14. The cure for corpus only wokred on the Nerevarine, and not even that, but just remove the negative effects of it. After you finish the main quest it is clearly states that the blight and corpus still remain. Ingame lore states that the Telvanni have been defeated by Argonians. Dunmer fanboy.
  15. But the OP talks about Telvanni restoring everything, Vardenfell being just fine, things that just are not. Now if you want to make something like Nehrim for the war between Morrowind and Argonia, happening in the south before the events of Skyrim, count me in! But just making up things about how strong and awesome the Dunmer are when they have clearly lost, and how all things are just fine and all will be well, it makes me cringe. Make a stand alone "game" playing in the war, maybe even with a set character, thinking "Redguard" (the game), for a Dunmer house and Argonian forces, conquering and avoiding to be conquered, fighting battles, gathering intel. Aquiring resources of helping people escape. Sure, the end and outcome is set and written, but who cares? You partake in something noteworthy and special, you are IN history, reliving it. All still with free exploration, maybe imprial factions go gain allies, for battles, finding artifacts that will help your struggle. Get to know house dres and the argonian forces. Convince skyrim to aid you as argonia, or house indoril as house dres. THAT would be something new and special, you can adhere to lore AND you get your Morrowind feeling. Now you tell me that that would not be something special and unique, and not just some fanservice like people want. I dare you. EDIT Come on dud, its like a uncurable blight disease that makes you lose your mind, your flesh grow like cancer and it originated from lorkhans heart transmitted through ashes. Quite hard to catch, but impossible to get rid of.
