  1. To update SKSE64, simply uninstall the old script extender and then install the new script extender, as Pickysaurus already said. That's all there is to it. Except all that is listed for me is "Remove" and that didn't do anything but remove the tool .. and in Extensions, as i mentioned are "Script Extender Installer" and "Script Extender updater" - both are blank when double-clicked on (nada listed in mods). Either way .. i just did the old way and copy/pasted into folder. Done. Thanks anyways ..
  2. I switched back to CDN as most downloads are working .. I just switch to a different premium server only when it doesn't - appears to be a temporary fix, just unsure why this would be happening.
  3. I looked in the extensions folder and all I could find is the "script extender installer" and the "script extender updater" and 2 test folders .. and each is empty when clicked on. No where to update or delete, or reinstall .. a little confusing to say the least. I guess I could just redownload and replace in the actual Skyrim SE folder itself, but you would think if Vortex has an option to install it for you then it would also have the option to update it ..unless I am missing something .. EDIT: just FYI, this all came about when I received a error saying Script extender encountered an error with mod and needed to be updated, yet no option is provided.
  4. I am somewhat familiar with installing script extender (done it multiple times with Mod Organizer 2), but this time I used VORTEX to install and make the tool - how do I update that tool? Updating the mods was easy .. but there doesn't appear to be anything anywhere to update the tools. Thank you.
  5. The CDN is not working .. i switched it to Los Angeles premium instead and it worked just fine - for all the downloads i was having trouble with, which were quite a few. Just FYI.
  6. If you say so .. i mean the error is inside Vortex itself with the RED bar, but OK. Thank you.
  7. Just started today .. but certain files i am trying to download have just disappeared - mod manager download link gives me a "download error" message colored RED, and manual download takes me out on web saying file doesn't exist. I know these files existed a couple of days ago, so what gives? Example: Lanterns of Skyrim 2. Also, all my support links in Nexus have been replaced with "not supported under this membership anymore" .. even though i am still a premium member until next year. Anyone know what's happening?
  8. There is a video I found online yesterday of someone successfully patching SkySA in Nemesis using Vortex .. so I know it does work. It's just most of the videos out there for troubleshooting Nemesis are super vague and don't go into much detail. And people I've asked online outside of here haven't been very nice .. don't know why, I haven't really pushed for an answer or said anything bad. I suppose I could post on Vortex forum, but all the Nemesis issues appear to be listed here in this forum. What's weird, is that everyone having this very same issue that I came across online - either there aren't any clear cut answers or no one ever replied. It's like the issues fell dead in the water. Yet, Nemesis appears to be what's replacing FNIS .. so you'd think there would be more documentation or for that matter, solutions out there .. :(
  9. I've recently installed Nemesis using Vortex and everything seems OK .. however, every time I download and install an animation MOD like "SkySA" - nothing shows in the Nemesis list for me to patch when I run it .. I've looked and looked online .. and the best I can get is reinstall or use MO2. I've reinstalled countless times and I am not a big fan of MO2 - prior game breaking issues in FO4. BTW, I am using Nemesis v084 beta. Can someone help me or at least point me in the right direction? Been stuck on this for a week now. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.
