  1. I'm having the same issue as well right now, some kind of server problems maybe?
  2. Hello, so I've recently come back to Skyrim and noticed that I had this issue: http://imgur.com/DhmjSYJ I'm using RealVision ENB 254a, CoT, not sure which other mods could conflict with it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Edit: I tried putting in the post directly but it wouldn't let me so I'm just leaving a link for it =/
  3. Yup I was thinking the same thing, but no to avail, although it looks really nice so I am hoping somebody knows, not sure how I would find it any other way :(
  4. Hey guys so I've been installing a lot of mods, and came across this screenshot in the West Wind Assault mod, and I was wondering if anybody could tell me which hair mod this is. Thanks in advance guys!http://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/31813-3-1361077138.jpg
  5. Alright so I just got Phinix Natural ENB version 0.246 after using a very old one for tatsudoshi, version .126 I think. So since there's so much new optimization and performance stuff in it like clearing Vram which should really help with loading times, but the results I got were a little bit different than promised in that it completely broke my game's graphics, and I have no idea how to fix it. I did all the .ini stuff required, and I would really prefer to avoid a clean install since I have 100+ .esps and a bunch of textures I won't even try to count. So I went ahead and recorded a video of the problem here it is: ****ALSO SEIZURE WARNING**** Seriously the thing flips out when I toggle between ENB on, and ENB off. 5:12 would be a good place to skip to, to see the issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5tN-D7HJ10&feature=youtu.be Feel free to just skip around it since I ended up not cutting out the loading screens out of laziness =/ I also left my specs in the description so any help would be appreciated since I didn't find anybody with a similar issue. Thanks! Edit: Well I feel really, really stupid. Sorry for wasting everybody's time, the problem seems to have come from the fact that I didn't launch the normal Skyrim launcher to re-adjust settings for ENB to work (maybe?) As well as doing many other things, which I suppose one of them did the trick so here's a list of what I remember doing. 1.Launch the normal launcher 2. Re-read mod instructions VERY CAREFULLY and double check EVERYTHING even if you believe that you already did it. 3. Check your Skyrim install for the injector version of ENB, if it's there remove it, there's a possibility of it messing with the wrapper version. 4. Read the instructions AGAIN 5. Do a little dance, if the dance doesn't succeed come to the forums and ask for help only to realize you probably missed a step and come back in a couple of hours saying it :) 6. Do a little victory dance and enjoy Skyrim! No but really if you have something like I do it's probably an issue with the .ini or even the launcher configuration, and the off-chance of drivers issues. Again post is obsolete now, but I am leaving it here incase anybody has the same problem and comes across this :)
  6. Bump and update: So removing the two .pex files resulted in less errors in my limited testing, but my guess is that it could easily mess something else up. I am going to try and start a new save without these and see what happens in terms of CTDs and their frequency. Only had about 20 minutes of testing without them. Edit: So I still have crashes, but I haven't had time to look at the logs right now. I am gonna take a look tomorrow hopefully.
  7. Did you copy/paste a follower and then edit it? Or from scratch?
  8. Hey guys so lately I've finally decided to get my game as stable as possible and cleaned up, and deleted lots of mods. But there's currently one issue I have left which seems to be causing random crashes, and I have no idea how to fix it, but I suspect it's caused by SkyRe which I can't live without so I would really like a fix. Here's my latest papyrus log which I crashed with: This is the full log before the game just froze on me, if the game doesn't freeze and just CTDs without warning I usually have some stuff about VM shutting down and etc. otherwise the log errors are about the same. Here are all my mods I am using, any suggestions to reduce CTDs, freezes etc. would be highly appreciated, and of course how to fix this issue  I already verified my steam integrity so the issue isn't with that, again any help would be appreciated. Thanks! EDIT: So I've tracked down two scripts in my scripts folder called xxxUnarmedEquip.pex and xxxUnarmedAlias.pex. I moved them out to see which mod they are from, and what they do but they definitely seem related to my errors, I am gonna see what happens with them moved out of my scripts. I'll post back with the results.
  9. EDIT: Could I please have a mod close this topic for me? I thought it didn't post earlier, but apparently it did so I ended up having two topics, my apologies.
  10. Allright I was finally able to get the script to code properly thanks to your help. now I have to ask. Is there a way to make these triggers spawn this particular NPC into the world only once so that he's not present every time that a player enters Scorpion Gulch? I have no experience in scripting but can you make the trigger, disable itself once you you trigger it?
  11. Ok lets face it this probably isn't Rogue-like since I haven't played Rogue but I think it fits under the genre's category. Anyways this is basically my take on playing Skyrim as a Rogue-like. Sadly I cannot program so I can't make the process automatic but I do have the ideas for it. So I am going to go over the way I made my Skyrim Rogue-like (in a very basic sense that is.) First off these are the essential mods you'll need to make this work: Frostfall - Hypothermia Camping Survival by: Chesko Link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11163/? This will provide much more challenge in survival and will force you to be prepared for the cold harsh climates of Skyrim. Eat and sleep by: kuertee Link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13246/? Again, this will be providing more aspects to kill you, and of course due to that make the game more difficult. Alternate Start - Live Another Life by: Arthmoor Link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9557/? This will make starting new character a lot less dull, and will give you different ways to start off the game. Note: It seems like using the chance option in the menu ends up picking 3-4 of the options listed, or at least in my experience. I would personally recommend closing your eyes and picking randomly by hovering your mouse at a point in the menu and then scrolling up/down for a few seconds and clicking from there. If there are any side-options I would recommend using the rolling system like the rest of the choices you will see down below. The way the rolling system works on weapons, and armour is that instead of having a de-buff like most other RPGs would give you for using the wrong gear, in Sky-Rogue I prefer to just have it completely un-usable and due to the limitations of me being unable to code you will have to remember everything yourself, I would recommend just grabbing a piece of paper and writing things you won't remember down. Sky-Rogue Rules 1. You have one life, if your Skyrim crashes use your previous save. Save often. 2. Do not min/max, do not abuse game mechanics, keep the gameplay lore-friendly. (Example: Pickpocketing repeatedly after training) 3. No fast travel 4. Stick to your character's results, or else it defeats the purpose. 5. No savescumming 6. Above all else use your own judgement to keep the experience best for you. Note: All the randomization I do is done by http://www.random.org/ and I find it reliable for random results. Character Setup – Basic – Required Race – Roll 1-10 – The race is determined going top to bottom, for example 1 is top, 10 is bottom. Gender – Roll 1-2 – (-1 Male-) (-2 Female-) Character Visuals – Roll 1-? - Depending on how many presets you have available on that race. I would suggest doing the same for eyes, lips, hair, hair colour and eye colour if you want to keep your characters looking unique. You can apply warpaint to your character if you think it's appropriate with the rest of the results. Armour Style – Roll 1-3 (-1 Clothing-) (-2 Light Armour-) (-3 Heavy Armour-) Weapon Style – In order to determine available weapons roll 3 times, if you get the same weapon class multiple times, do not re-roll, it will simply be a limitation of the character. - Roll 1-11 - (-1 Daggers-) (-2 Battleaxes-) (-3 Greatswords-) (-4 Maces-) (-5 Staves-) (-6 Swords-) (-7 War Axes-) (-8 Warhammers-) (-9 Unarmed -) (-10 Bow-) (-11 Magic-) Note: If Dawnguard is installed roll up to 12, with 12 being the crossbow. Stealth – Roll 1-3 - (-1 Yes-) (-2,3 No-) Stealing Ability – Roll 1-4 (-1 No-) (-2 No-) (-3 No-) (-4 Yes-) Name – Personally I would suggest using the Tamriel Rebuilt name generator, and picking the first name it gives you. Character Setup – Advanced – Optional But Recommended Personality – Roll 1-3 - (-1 Intimidating-) (-2 Charming/Funny-) (-3 Intelligent-) You'll have to decide on what is what during dialogue options yourself since they aren't always very clear. Ability To Ride Horses - Roll 1-4 - (-1,2,3 No-) (-4 Yes-) Crafting Knowledge – Roll 1-10 - (-1 Blacksmithing-) (-2 Enchanting-) (-3 Leatherworking&Blacksmithing-) (-4 Leatherworking-) (-5 Alchemy&Enchanting-) (-6 Alchemy-) (-7 Alchemy&Enchanting-) (-8 Enchanting&Blacksmithing-) (-9&10 None-) Gods – Roll 1-3 - (-1 Aedra Worshipper-) (-2 Daedra Worshipper-) (-3 In-Different-) Note: Vampiries&Werewolves automatically bypass this, and pray to their respective gods unless turned against their will. Ability To Pickpocket – Roll 1-3 - (-1 Yes-) (-2,3 No-) Werewolf / Vampire - Roll 1-20 - (-1-18 No Infection-) (-19 Werewolf-) (-20 Vampire-) Note: This will have to be set using console commands. Dragonborn Or Not – Roll 1-20 (-1 through 19 No-) (-20 Yes-) Note: Not being Dragonborn completely blocks off the main questline, unless you can susbend your disbelief to being referenced as Dragonborn by everybody. Marriage Options / Sexual Orientation – 1-10 - (- 1 through 6 Heterosexual-) (-7,8,9 Bisexual-) (-10 Homosexual-) Character Weight Level – Roll 0-10 – Adjust the bar accordingly. Note: This directly correlates with the ability to mine, characters bellow weight 50 cannot mine, unless they can use a two handed weapon. Political Stance – Nords: Roll 1-3 (-1 Imperial-) (-2 Stormcloak-) (-3 Neutral-) Non-Nords: Roll 1-11 (-1 through 5 Imperial-) (-6 through 10 Neutral-) (-11 Stormcloak) Note: If your character's race is Imperial they cannot be Stormcloak, instead any Stormcloak result is to be treated as an Imperial result. I hope you guys have as much fun with it as I have had, and most likely will have. I've been doing something like this for awhile but just created this system right now. Keep in mind this is all one big guideline and you can add and remove what you think is applicable and best for you. If I see any great suggestions down below I could implement them in here, and thank you for reading, and thanks to my cousin for proof-reading this thing for me (known as "The Friendly Neighbourhood Spy" on Steam.) :D Note: If a modder would like to try and undertake this into a fully-scripted system that would be pretty amazing, just throwing it out there if anybody wants to try, but the amount of work would be immense.
  12. Are you possibly running off of an external hard drive? If that's the case try copying Skyrim to your main drive, it seems to be a pretty common problem with Skyrim which I also used to have.
  13. Bump  Edit: Well me being an idiot the last thing I tried was disabling some recently installed mods after doing everything else that came to mind. I am happy to say that after a bit of troubleshooting the .esp causing this problem was enb_reference. Now I am not actually which mod this is from but it seems to be incompatible with something else I have, either way the issue is fixed.
  14. Sorry I don't know how to make spoiler tags, could you tell me how to do it please and then I can paste my ini files.
  15. Hey guys so lately I've been running into a pretty severe issue in which it looks like my game is loading the long distance LOD is loading up close. I've checked my Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini and it seems to be in order. The issue looks kind of like this: http://i44.tinypic.com/2vijvcp.jpg http://i42.tinypic.com/9pxguv.png http://i41.tinypic.com/2jshtj.png So what should I do about this? I've searched this issue but found nothing which matches my problem although it seems to be a problem like the Dragon LOD which I do get once in a while. Any help would be very appreciated  Edit: I've found a bandaid fix for this issue, typing TLL in the console disables all LODs which removes the LODs up close but at the same disables the ones far away creating awkward pop-ins. Edit2: Completely deleting both SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini and letting the game generate them did nothing. Will now try a whole new save to see if it could be save related. Edit3: After making a new save I quickly found the exact same issue still occuring, so it is not linked to my save.
