  1. Seems like someone didn't even watch the video where a treeline was in the reflection, but the player was on a crane in the middle of a burnt out area. I don't think it's a major issue, but c'mon man, don't blindly praise work that isn't even there.
  2. Don't become a Toxic Todd too, we don't need to talk down to people who've fallen prey to 76. Advertising/Marketing and dedication to the IP has claimed many. Back on topic, though. The only real way to get around the log-out stuff is to not 'play' the game as it were. Pacifist so you don't die in the first place, watching your map so they can't sneak up on you and avoiding all player confrontation, etc. You can also take a bit of extra time to see if they out-gear you and weigh your odds before firing back. Unless Beth is made aware and changes the way that whole system works, which would be nice regardless imo, you've gotta play around it, just like they are playing with it. Always be aware of your surroundings, check the map a bit more frequently to see if anyone's closing on your position. Never assume that you'll be able to respawn and go get your stuff back. From past experience and a lot of hours in DayZ and Exile (Arma 2 & Arma 3 Mods of similar design), going back to your corpse is a death wish, and if you don't die, the person has long since left. If you have to pass by someone, always try to hide in foliage and stay low. Sometimes getting a bit closer to them to walk along a hillside instead of going over the top can make you stand out less against the horizon. Of course all this is null if they're doing the same because of the public map, but the confrontation will boil down to who can pew pew better, no matter how cautious you are.
  3. I do have to write one thing on what you put up here. The amount of detail poured into the previous RPGs from Beth is what makes the multiplayer aspect so different, and ill-suited. Happened with the ESO push-back, it's happening here. Too many players, not enough content. The 'multiplayer' the seeming majority of people want is the same RPG content, but with the ability to play with maybe a handful of people at most. Co-op gameplay restricted to people you want to play it with, or just yourself. From what I've gathered, the vast majority of people are looking for content like that, not what's being presented. If Beth really wanted to make cash off of every game they've released prior, then they've already taken the first step. With their launcher, if they just released 'Creation Engine: Ultimate' or something like that, in which it would be a blank engine able to load up co-op gameplay of previous games (ESMs or what-not), but only if they were re-purchased through their launcher. At that point, they could maximize the money they'd ever get from this multiplayer aspect, and their previous games all at once. Instead, they've probably doomed any hope of multiplayer success (co-op or otherwise) out of Beth due to ESO and now 76's various issues.
  4. So, I know this one is a fairly large stretch, but the TL;DR of what I want to see is Fallout: 76; Fallout 4 Co-op. With my limited knowledge on the creation engine's inner workings (especially with this new installment), my mind immediately goes to the idea of private servers (solo/co-op for example), and possibly being able to import previous games' assets (namely Fallout 4 since it's the closest game to 76). I don't need a new story if I can go back to play the old one(s) co-op instead of MMO/fake DayZ style. Heck if one can load the Fallout4.esm, perhaps adding DLC could be done, and then by proxy, modded Fallout 4 with co-op using the 76 engine or something of the sorts. I would pay for Fallout:76, full price, if it could do that (with or without mods). As is I'm going to sit back and watch, though.
