I installed Crash Fixes and SKSE Plugin Preloader and set "UseOSAllocators=1" in CrashFixPlugin.ini. It seems to have helped a little bit; the freezing isn't *as bad* and it took longer to get a ctd. I'm going to look up how to create a bashed patch since I have so many mods and see if that helps. Again, any help would be very appreciated. EDIT: havent made the bashed patch yet but I disabled papyrus logging in the ini (i had it on to see if i could pinpoint what's causing ctds but it wasn't helping anyway) and now I've been playing for a couple hours with no ctds and hardly any freezing! We'll see how long this lasts.

Well now the freezing is back. Saving is alright. More CTDs than usual though.

Alright so I looked up what to do about save bloat, some people said waiting 31 days in an interior. I was right by Redwater Den, so I went in there, sped up time super fast and just stood there as 31 days flew by in a couple minutes. IMMEDIATE improvement--no more freezing and I can save reliably again! My first save after waiting jumped up to over 50mb, but then my next save was back down to what it was before, around 43mb. I still would like to know how to get it lower because I don't want bloat causing issues in the future.

Hello, I'm having two issues, but I'm putting them in one post in case they turn out to be related. 1. Game freezes for several seconds about every few minutes. It's always done that on occasion, but just in my last several hours of playing it's gotten much more frequent and the freezes are lasting longer. I'm afraid it'll become unplayable. 2. I can't save most of the time. Regular save, quicksave, autosave, saving via console, etc. every method just saves as a .tmp file. It's very hit or miss and I haven't been able to figure out what makes the difference on the rare occasions it saves as an actual .ess file. Sometimes deleting old saves (both from the save folder and then from the recycle bin) helps, but not always. You can imagine the difficulty of not being able to save 90% of the time. I've been playing this character for many hours and none of this started happening until a day or so ago. EDIT: Looking up what a normal file size should be, I'm realizing this is almost definitely save bloat. I never paid much attention to file sizes before but my current save is sitting at around 43mb. Wondering if anyone would be interested in making death hound collars into an equipable item for dogs, similar to how saddles are used in horse mods. I'd like to be able to give Garm the husky the collar I looted off a death hound.

You might check out some of Elianora's mods. I just installed Mielikki, which might be a good fit for you. Otherwise, I haven't tried Tirashan or Halamshiral but they look nice. I'm not sure if there's anything that exactly fits your specifications but these might come close. I also recommend Jaxonz Furnishings and Jaxonz Positioner, that way you can add as many bookshelves as you want, wherever you want.

I've just started a new playthrough as a witch character and I thought it'd be fun to have her be an assassin. While casting spells in combat is fun and all, I like more sneaky types of killing (e.g. slipping poison into people's pockets). I came up with an idea for casting spells at a distance via hex bags placed in the victim's home. Once they enter, they take damage, and as long as no one saw you break in, you don't get caught. A similar way to do this would be via some sort of voodoo doll; you attack the doll out of sight of the victim or witnesses. They take damage, you don't get caught or get your hands dirty. I don't know how difficult something like this would be to make, but it sure would be fun to use if someone wants to do it! (Or tell me how to do it! I'll make it myself if someone wants to give me some pointers.)

Hello all, I've got a question about making a follower. I was thinking I'd like to make a follower based on a TV character, and I want to know if I can use audio files for that character's voice from the show or not. I want to make sure I don't do anything that's not allowed.

Oh, and there's also this. I haven't used it personally, but it does add a bunch of horses near Riverwood. They are free though, so you can't buy them :/

Well I don't know of a mod that lets you buy multiple vanilla horses at once, but this mod adds a bunch of new stables with lots of unique horses all around Skyrim. As far as I know, you can buy as many as you want at once, as long as you've got the coin. ;)

I've been wishing there was a mod to let you be a horse merchant... I have Immersive Horses plus other mods that add A LOT of horses and I love collecting them, but I don't really *need* that many... would be cool if there was a way to turn around and sell horses for profit. Being able to breed them would be cool too, then you could run a proper horse farm. But I imagine that bit would be quite difficult to do.

Cool, thanks! Also, one more question--like the person above was saying, I also would like NPCs to be able to activate the faucets but i don't know if they can use the valve. Would there be a way to set up a trigger box connected to the x-marker that would activate the water when NPCs walk into it? so basically there'd be two ways to activate the same things, valve for the player and trigger box for NPCs?

Hi, I'm trying to do this too, but I keep getting the "extends script does not exist" message, even after I extracted scripts.rar :sad: What's going on, what am I doing wrong? EDIT: nvm I did it wrong, it's working now :) So am I right in thinking it's okay to use this script in my mod? Should I credit you in some way?
