  1. I ask that the moderators please excuse my remark regarding daedroths. My apologies especially to the one to whom it was directed.

    :cry2: :cry2: SOOORRYY

    HAVE A NICE DAY !!!!!! :grin:

    Here's a bit of Morrowind lore for ya.

    The above post is how you act on three rocks of 'sweet Moon Sugar'.

    That, and some say Vivec was raped, but really, he was just a little drunk off the ole' Matze and got friendly.

    Great. Thanks for that. However please note the last post here was made almost a year ago. Please do not spam old threads unless you have something really worthwhile to contribute. I'm pretty sure it would be almost impossible these days to unearth some stunning new knowledge concerning Morrowind.

    Thank you.

  2. While exploring, i found a dead troll floating under a bridge. I found a note on it's body that said: me wurst troll evur.....people don't pay toll......i'm nut scarry enuff. :unsure: I think it commited suicide. :(

    It's true. Other people on the net have seen this as well. :D

    EDIT: Oh and Vaanic, best story ever mate!!!

  3. Is there anything funnier than sending an opponent flying off his feet with your thrust attack? I sent a heavily armoured dremora flying backwards off a tower walkway....about oh, 4 stories down to his death.

    And this one, is just so sick it's hilarious. An enraged dremora in robes ran towards me in a narrow passage screaming and swinging his weapon when all of a sudden KA-CHUNG a massive scissor like blade chopped into him...I mean it really went into him, right down the middle and between his legs. Then it lifted back up PICKING HIM UP WITH IT as it was still in his now twitching body. (Seriously it was twitching and writhing.)

    Poor male without a father, I pointed and laughed.

  4. Stampede you are a legend! thanks for the advice! Now how do I post the shot onto a page such as this?

    Woohoo it worked for me.

    There are a couple of ways to do it. You could either use the file attachment option when you post, or get an image hosting site (www.photobucket.com) to host them for you, then paste the image url.

  5. I made an overnight stopover in Chorral on the way to the Imperial City. In the morning I was doing some trading when two dogs ran past me, looking like they were up to typical doggy mischief.

    I later overheard a woman complaining to a guard about them. He did not seem too concerned though and said they did not bother him.

    Even if it was scripted, it's little details like that which make this game great.

  6. Unlock Print Screen (PRTSCN) button

    There is a setting in the INI file:

    bAllowScreenShot=0

    change to:

    bAllowScreenShot=1

    Also, two related items for the screenshots:

    iScreenShotIndex=0

    SScreenShotBaseName=Oblivion

    There are two INIs, one in the game folder called "Oblivion_default.ini", this is the one it uses to generate the REAL one....

    My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini

    Edit the first one if you want to default to having screenshots on by default for all users. The settings it uses at runtime are the ones from My Documents folder.

    After you mod the INI file, you can press PRTSCN button and Oblivion will write a BMP file to your game folder.

    EDIT by LHammonds - Since this post, it has been learned that a few scenarios can prevent this from working such as Anti-Aliasing and Vista UAC. Please read the following article:

  8. We meet again Mr Anderson...

    This thread is almost a year old. I highly doubt that this issue is of any value anymore. I know you are new so I don't want to come down hard on you but please do not revive dead threads. They smell.

    Thanks.

  11. Just to clear things up. Nobody shut the project down as such, it was a brave and difficult choice made by the team who were unwilling to compromise the awesome vision they were creating. Being the good bunch of hard working and law abiding people they were, it was with a heavy heart that they accepted what could not be argued against, without implications or by selling out their original ideas.

    At least, that is what I have gathered.

  12. Each time I confronted an Ash Vampire he performed a weird tap-dance before attacking me. Is it Sixth House custom to dance before a fight?

    Would not surprise me. They are truly chaotic, one need only get the chance to speak to any of them, or read their writings and what is with the stacking of the furniture? Reminds me of a scene from poltergeist.

    The Sixth House has always fascinated and frightened me.

  13. The only disconcerting thing was the dead and drowned bodies of miners and soldiers floating around. O.o

    Haha! Sorry, I'm twisted, but I'm finding that image highly amusing. I once had a water breathing character and used to have great fun in leading rampaging enemies to a watery grave.

  14. Please remember to stay on topic, this is the section for introducing your characters, not requesting plugins...but seeing as you are new here:

    There is a playable dremora available at Morrowind Summit.

    Ok, I just have to ask...what is with the picture you attached to your post?
