SSE creation kit unstable crashes when viewing npcs
Narinha replied to verrik's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Same here. :( Does anyone know how to fix that? The error CK points is related to meshes - no matter what I try to do before hitting save. So many people porting their things from Oldrim to SE and my CK as bugged as it always has to be... :( -
[LE] Creating Scenes among NPCs
Narinha replied to AccursedSniper's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Hello! Take a look at this: I know there are some parts teaching how to create npcs and so on, but she's made a sequence of videos and I know that one of them explains how to make a scene. Her explanation is very clear. I hope it helps. -
[LE] Quick Questions, Quick Answers

My only thoughts are either make that area of the lower floor inaccessible or put a loading screen between the two floors and have them as separate zones. Thank you for the tips. I'll do that. -
[LE] Quick Questions, Quick Answers
Narinha replied to Elias555's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Hi, everyone. I want to know how to fix a problem with water inside a house. I'm making a house with a pool inside. The house has two floors and the pool is on the second floor. The problem is that ingame when you walk on the first floor immediately under the pool, the player "swims in the air" It's funny, but I need to fix that. You don't see the water, but you swim in that room as if you really were into the water. Any ideas? -
[LE] Follower won't go through door.
Narinha replied to Narinha's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Thanks for the tip. I've checked it and found out the navmesh was ok, but the outside door marker - which was already there before I started to customize the interior cell - was misplaced. The exterior door marker was a little bit below its position, so the navmesh wasn't recognizing it. Once I placed the door marker just a little above its earlier position, everything worked fine. Lesson I've learned with that: don't trust CK. Even when you haven't touched anything, the CK can mess everything. -
[LE] Follower won't go through door.
Narinha replied to Narinha's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
This is just an idea, but how big is your follower? Some large characters have trouble navigating through obstacles if there is not enough room for them. I can't think of anything else that would cause a follower not to enter unless there is a problem with the navmesh. I've only had that issue with multiple followers entering into a small cell. My follower is just an ordinary Nord guy... I was thinking I should delete the existing doors and use brand new ones, who knows? I can't find a reason, either. -

Right, folks. I've searched for that and no "minimal use" flag was checked in any of my doors. -

Where would this "minimal use" flag be? If you're talking abou the reference box, I found nothing like that. -

That's an interesting thing that I've tried to do. Once I teleport the follower to the inside, he really goes there and does anything he's ordered to do. When the player leaves, the follower stays behind. But it's as if he didn't stay, because he goes with the player if I fast travel to any other place of the map. -

I don't know anything, but maybe a idle marker is blocking something? Also have you tried move in and out of the portal with the follower unassigned to it and see if they follow. Maybe you need to assign a different ai package? Sorry if this doesn't help any. When I look at npcs in certain areas they seem to have idle packages assigned so they have a "routine". Thanks for the reply. There's no idle markers on the way. And as for the AI packages, the follower does the ones that are to be done on the outside perfectly. But when it comes to the AI packages done on the inside, as the follower never goes through the door, it's impossible to know whether they're working for now. -

Anyone, please? -
Hello everybody!! I have some issues with follower that doesn't go through a specific door. I thought the problem could be solved with the information I found here in nexus (such as https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4557545-npc-wont-go-through-door or https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5203565-help-on-load-doors as some examples). But they didn't help me. So, what I've done I'll explain here: I changed a vanilla house in Skyrim to belong to a follower (just like here https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5177090-help-creating-player-home-using-npcs-exsistng-home/) then, made the correct adjustments. The doors are correctly linked, the player gets in and out with no trouble at all. The follower doesn't. I've checked for possible navmesh errors and the CK returned none, interior and exterior. The house is to be the follower's, so when the player gets married with the follower he/she also owns the house. I've made a new faction so the follower can own the house and with the marriage test, it works fine, the player owns everything, but the follower never enters the house. And, just to add one detail, I don' t know if this is related to the matter, but when the player sleeps, he doesn't get the lover bonus, just the common rested one. I've tried locking the door, giving the key to the owner (the follower), unlocking the door, etc. Nothing changes. The follower stands on the outside. Some tutorials have suggested to change the whole navmesh in the cells - I've done that, too, but no results. And I'm probably forgetting to tell you some things I've already tried to do... Can anyone help me with this? I'm new in this kind of things. Thank you all for any ideas.

Thanks for the quick reply. Right, the AI packages are done already. But I remember I've seen something related to a selected area in the environment that tells the NPC the limits where she can go in this exterior place. The area where I want to place the NPC is vanilla. -

Hi, everybody. How do I select the exterior area of a given place where an NPC can go? I know I did that before, I even watched a tutorial somewhere... but I just can't remember. I want to place one NPC outside an inn, but I want her to interact, not only stand still. Thank you. -
[LE] Custom follower won't speak his lines anymore
Narinha replied to Narinha's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Thank you guys for your help, especially Agerweb that was so willing to help a newbie. Fixed the problem. The aliases in the quest were basically stopping the quest to run properly. Some conditions weren't meant to be there and when I removed them, the dialogues worked correctly - the texts appeared accordingly, also the voice sound. -

Thank you so much for the helping hand. I'll be glad if you can take a look. The mod is not finished yet, of course, and I'll send the link to you in private message. ;) -
[LE] Custom follower won't speak his lines anymore
Narinha replied to Narinha's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
I'll try that and see what happens... Although my custom voice files are all named correctly since they were working before I start to work on the custom armor. Oh my... CK bugs are very stressful. Later... So I tested the suggestion a few minutes ago. I was afraid it wouldn't work, unfortuantely. And it didn't. What happens is that not even the text appears, not just the voice sound. For example, the next dialogue sequence should start with the player saying something like "you had a question?" and the follower would speak his lines. But, this dialogue never starts, for the player never says anything. Does anyone know why? The only condition for the next dialogue sequence begins is that the preivous one ends. And, as I explained earlier, it was working before I started to work on the custom armor. I'd really appreciate your ideas. -
[LE] Custom follower won't speak his lines anymore
Narinha replied to Narinha's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
No, it's not in the same quest. The next dialogue sequence used to work correctly before I started to work on the armor. I don't see the reasons why armors and dialogues can conflict... When I'm testing the mod ingame, I often have to make a quick save and load at the same place to "activate" the new things the game doesn't see. It used to work. But not this time. As for the "make new"... toooooo much trouble... there are a lot of lines in the sequence. But thanks, anyway. ;) -
Hello, everybody! I'll start by telling you a little about this mod I'm working on. I'm making a standalone custom voiced follower. After a long time reading and researching he's finally working. All the dialogues are ok, with the proper quests made and working. I made a small dialogue quest just to start a conversation, introducing lines (like "how long have you been a warrior?", etc), before he'd be available to follow the player. It worked. Then, when the follower is traveling around with the player, other dialogue quests take place and so on. When everything was ready and working, and I was quite happy with the results, I tried to make a custom armor for him. I took some time to make it work, but it did. When the custom armor was ready... Now the problems begin: he's not speaking all he should anymore. He starts the first dialogue, follows the player and that's it. Nothing else. I event tried to remove all the conditions on the following dialogue to see whether it'd make any difference, but nothing happened. So, my two questions are: why is this happening? And can that be fixed? I'm not using any DLC with this mod. Can anyone help me please? Thank you all for your time.

Starting a new game with the same character in Skyrim
Narinha replied to Narinha's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thank you for the quick reply. But, as I was reading the description of the mod you suggested, I'd have to install a bunch of other mods just to do what I want. Isn't there a way to do that without using mods? -
Hello, everybody. I'm currently playing a game in Skyrim and I truly love the way my character looks like. But I want to start a new game, start from 0 AND use the same character. I'll explain: I don't want to choose again all the nose types, scars, hairs and so on because I really enjoy the way my character looks like today and I'm sure I won't be able to make a perfect copy of every detail. I've seen a lot of people asking about this on google, but they wanted to keep the level or the items. That's not the case. I only want the looks. Is there a way to do that without using mods? Thank you all for your time.
