I believe the blacksmith in Kaer Muire sells a map (Hieronymus' Notes Part 3) locating superior wolf gear. However, he doesn't have it in his things for sale. Do I have to complete another quest or do something to make the map available for sale from him? I accidentally read some parts in my Google search that Kaer Muire becomes abandoned later, but this hasn't happened for me yet ...

Is there a Win 7 shortcut or game settings to start the game without clicking Play a 2nd time in the GOG Galaxy windows and bypass all the intros without pressing the Spacebar twice?

This is the 3rd time I am unable to exit a barrow after completing a quest. The first time I was stuck in Bloodskal Barrow where upon exiting to Solstheim, the game transition screen is displayed infinitely. After marking a custom destination, I was able to exit. This 3rd time, I am stuck in White Ridge Sanctum, but the custom destination does not work. Also tried exiting from the entrance in White Ridge Barrow, but get the game transition screen infinite. Tried using game console player.moveto command to no avail. Strangely, when I open 1 of 3 black books it takes me to Apocrypha, but end back in the White Ridge when I read the books again. Also, tried starting from the last saved game in White Ridge. Please help.

I'm stuck again this time inside White Ridge Sanctum ... cannot exit from the hatch door to Solstheim above. Also tried going all the way back to the White Ridge Barrow entrance. Tried player.moveto and custom destination on map ... I can't get out :(

I tried to use fast travel to get myself out of the barrow and it didn't work, but after marking a custom destination ... I was able to exit, phew.

After reading the black book in Bloodskal Barrow and returning from the library, I then defeated the 2 reavers and a woman at the end of the escape tunnel. However, when I try to exit to Solstheim by opening the door at the end, the game freezes during the transition image(s). I have re-loaded the game multiple times, but the game always freezes when I open the door to exit. Please advise.

Can I continue with Skyrim quest after installing Dragonborn and get the new items & spells?

I'm playing Skyrim for the 2nd time (almost to the end), and am wondering if it's worthwhile to buy Dragonborn? Can you use your character with the same skills, perks, etc. or do you have to start a new character?

Hi prensa, Yes, what you suggested worked ... thanks :) However, is there a way to make the imported alpha channel permanent - i.e., no need to re-import further changes saved separately as bitmap? The reason I ask is there is no need to use this process with majority of other .dds texture files.

Hi Prensa, I believe the .dds file is already saved as DXT5 and the alpha channel becomes all transparent after I save it in Paint.net, but before overwriting the file using DXTbmp. Fyi, I open the alpha channel for editing using Paint.net from DXTbmp. If I open the .dds file directly with Paint.net, the texture is already partially transparent.

I have been editing the Alpha Channel of several texture files using DXTbmp and Paint.net fine, except for 1 or 2. Problem is the entire alpha channel becomes transparent when I save any change using Paint.net. Anyone knows why or what am I missing?

I'm playing it for the first time, and am starting to get bored at level 61. I believe I have completed the majority of the quest - e.g., read the Elders Scroll on top of the mountain, become head of a majority of the factions, helped Stormcloaks to control 2 realms, etc. Hence, I wondering what some players do to get to level 80 before they face the final battle? Since passing level 57 or so, it takes a lot or long time to get to level 61 :confused:

So how do you know where to go if there is no down arrow marker?
