  1. I cannot find any mod that runs on my version of the game. Brand new install, all addon packs. Is the GoG version not supported? The mods show up in the mod box, can be activated, but either do not load or cause game problems. Thanks for any help.
  2. The Winchester Model 70 would be my suggestion. It has a long American history, and was used by the Marines for sniper service. 308, 30-06, and 300 Win Mag were used.
  3. After the last Steam update, my settlements were flagged as raider owned. So I made a new character and went to Sanctuary at level 1, it was flagged as raider on discovery. Was able to claim the workbench with out problem. The new character got some extra perk points as well. Any one else have this issue? I had not made changes to my load order , just the steam update.
  4. I have to buy internet by the mile. Overages are very high. Many adds are glutenous bandwidth burners that I get stuck with the bill for. So, If I'm going to afford internet for myself, an adblocker that stops add downloads altogether is a big plus.
  5. The new site design is less. Less upfront information, information I used a lot. That little box with the top 10 of the week gave me many of my very best of mods. It is gone. Trending mods? pfft. As for finding things on nexus, it is now harder then ever. As for multi cultural, nexus really is not. Well anything that the chruch of england approves, goes. As for paid modding, it is only a matter of time till Beth says, All your mods belong to us, pay up. Having said all those bad things, I have to add, I have used Nexus for a number of years for a number of games. The blessings have been many. The real credit belongs to the multitude of mod authors who to the EXTRA time to SHARE FREELY. You know, the pain of uploading, making a description page and proving support. My 2 cents worth
  6. So once again, the mod money pot boils over. So much drama. I fear the money fight may well destroy modding and modded games. On second look, I am beginning to think mods should be left free. Yeah, good mods take a lot of time, and the expensive tools needed. They always have. Perhaps a better path is to expect no money for the mod. Sure make the mods. But go in knowing full well there is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The current path looks like a prelude to "The Wreck of of Old 97"
  7. I am constantly amazed at how many people down load files and can't be bothered to even endorse. I am not saying every mod deserves an endorsement, but the majority do. Some of the tools needed for creating some of the mods are very spendy, not to mention a top notch PC to run it. Authors should receive some sort of compensation for quality work. One problem is just finding some of the good mods on Nexus. The Nexus search frequently fails to find files even with the correct key words, it may find one or two files, but ignore others. Google search usually works better then the on board search for me. I don't know how you would make QC work. Maybe let free enterprise work, the more the file is down loaded, and endorsed, then balance between the two.
  8. 7-8 power armors just vanished from Sunshine Tiding Coop, including my tesla set. They had the FCs pulled. Parked another there yesterday, it is gone today. My facility on Spectical Island is mostly destroyed. It is weird how some things were untouched and others turned upside down, while others are just gone. I feel like my current lvl 68 game is wrecked/bugged beyond repair, gee thanks Beth. Has any one else had any of this?
  9. I don't like the new format. First of all, my internet is pay metered. I don't want to down load all the images. I normally view the recent activity page. In the old format, more info is available. The new mods, and the top ten are all right where I can find them, and all on the same page. Just cause it is new does not make it is better.
  10. I have several hundred Oldrim mods, many of which are no longer on nexus or the net.. So It may come down to what you have on a back up drive. There are a couple things(minor) I didn't like about SE, so I removed it from my PC.
  11. In response to post #49989632. Thanks for the update. :) I to would like to know about older mods. I have a huge collection of stuff I use that is no longer available anyplace but my WD Passport back up drive. I in fact decided against Skyrim SE for this reason(one of several), so it is important. I don't want to go back to manual install, but I can do that.
  12. I have found a Chameleon Deathclaw with the ability to turn invisible invisible with out any mod. It appeared as my PC reached near lvl 100, was an interesting fight to say the least.
  13. I just want a simple powerful mod installer/uninstaller. Profiles smofiles, don't need don't want. Just install it right and uninstall it clean. Keep it simple. If it works, don't fix it. I dislike both current mod managers strongly. Constantly both caused me grief. So, I use an ancient version of nmm for skyrim and manual install for FO4. The virtual stuff is virtual trouble. I do hope keep it simple options will be available in the new version. Yeah, I'm an older guy and I hate it when some new thing comes along and rocks my boat. :P Oh, one more thing, make the text big enough so I can read it. Anyway, smooth sailing to you in the next year. :)
  14. In response to post #39897270. I installed it with no problem, no frame rate drop on Vista 64 bit, old pc.
  15. Same here, I can't download anything because I can't get to the files page. I tried IE, firefox and chrome.
