  1. Hey I got great news! So right after my last post, before yours, I basically thought the same thing as you... I was using the "stock" CBPC config, I then downloaded the "Immersive CBP Config" mod, which helped a little bit but the wubba feedback loop was still there and the movements were still exaggerated IMO compared to real life wubba so I switched to "Immersive CBP Config - Quicker Breast Recovery" and now it's perfect IMO, if there still is a feedback loop at least I can't see it directly, which is more realistic, but also I haven't had the 100% CPU usage issue again yet, so this whole problem might finally be solved ! :D In any case I still have the console command now should it ever go crazy again. Also my character has more of a C-cup so enough to be noticed IYKWIM but still on the "average" side, and more on the smaller side in the context of Skyrim mods... people here seam to like'em Super-sized
  2. Wow, thanks for the gold star  Yeah so, I checked my mods and it turns out my CBBE outfits's physics is run by CBPC, so they also have collision, and this time I paid attention while wearing a physics-enabled mage robe, turns out the hair sometimes hits the breast -> boobs jiggle -> hits the hair -> hair wiggles -> hits the tits... and eventually at some point, CPU = 100% -> 2fps -> console: smp reset -> 59fps -> CPU = 40%
  3. Okay so the SMP hair physics alone is enough to cause a seizure to my CPU! Wow! And I'm the only one using hair physics, all the NPCs use non-physics hair styles. I'm not using a wig, it's "real" hair, so the console command is my only option... Or maybe if I put on a helmet or a hood, that might solve the problem too, I'll try that next time... Thanks for all the info! Glad I could help!
  4. Actually you just made me realize I'm not even sure I'm using SMP for the bodies, I don't have 3BBB, I'm only using the "stock" CBBE outfits where some of them have physics enabled through Bodyslider... Are they animated by SMP ? But whatever I can live with it right now, as I said earlier it only happens randomly every few hours and all I have to do as soon as I see my framerate get slammed is enter that line in the console and everything is fine.
  5. Honestly I mostly use it for hair physics so there's no CBP alternative, I'm using KS Hairdos HDT SMP. And IMO it's a deep flaw of HDT SMP because it's not just "very demanding", the fact is whatever hardware you have, even the hottest CPU on the market, it'll max out and get you 1-3 fps when this happens. Some people with 9900Ks were complaining about the same issue I had, and I'm not even pushing hard on it, like I said, just average length hair, average size boobs, subtle movements and just playing Skyrim as intended (running, talking, fighting, looting), no FNIS dances around or crazy animations. I think every HDT-SMP mod page should have a disclaimer in the description reading something like: "Warning: every once in a while, the physics computation gets out of hand, dropping your framerate by 99% regardless of your hardware, this is a known issue and we're working on a fix. For now all you need to do is open the console and write " smp reset " and the problem will be solved... until it happens again."
  6. Okay guys after forever trying to figure out what's wrong, disabling mods that were actually fine, cleaning up my save with Resaver, reading every bug section of pretty much every mod I have, I finally found out the culprit is HDT-SMP ! Basically, after a while, everything that works with HDT-SMP, meaning physics with collision (clothes, hair, boobs, butts), ends up in a spiral where one movement pushes one thing that makes another one move etc... The problem is that I have a pretty realistic setup, no huge boobs, no 2m long hair styles, everything looks natural, even the movements, boobs aren't flying left and right, only faint realistic movements, so I have no way of noticing, but in reality everything ends up acting like a Newton's Cradle and whatever CPU you have ends up going crazy about it at some point, dedicating all it's power towards these faint movements. The thing is, the modders new this, so they made a simple console command: " smp reset " just to solve that problem, but they don't say it anywhere in the mod descriptions so I had to find other people's complaints about it on the mod's bug section to find other users who know about this command. TL; DR: It's HDT-SMP. Solution: type console command " smp reset " every time the problem occurs.
  7. Yeah I'm aware of that, they're definitely not supposed to work together, I know, but they never actually caused any issue and I always found they actually do work well together
  8. I do have quite a few mods that use scripts but I'm not sure I know what qualifies as "script heavy"... Immersive Citizens ? AIM FIX ? Immersive Patrols ?
  9. Damn it in the title I meant "high end PC" not "PCH". Hi, I just got back to Skyrim SE after more than 6 months so I just updated my mods, added a few, note that the game used to run fine before, and I started a new game. Everything was fine at first, always between 55 and 60 fps, until something weird started to happen in Alvors house in Riverwood: the framerate suddenly tanked to an unplayable rate, between 1 and 3 fps, my CPU was at 100%, while it normally never exceeds 70%. I could barely move, so I used coc riverwood to get out and I was back at 60fps. I get in the house again and the framerate is back at 1-3 fps. I quit the game, launch again, and there's no problem anymore. I play for hours and it doesn't happen again. I did the Golden Claw quest, no problem, bring it back to Lucan, and when I get out of Lucan's, out in the open in Riverwood, there it goes again, CPU at 100%, unplayable framerate... Also I notice the framerate is back at 60 fps and the CPU usage back to normal as soon as I pause the game, open the map or any menu like inventory or favorites... So I try figuring out if it comes from the ENB but no setting I un-tick helps, even deactivating the whole ENB, so I assume it's not the culprit. So I try deactivating what mods I can through the MCM but nothing seems to help. I go back inside Lucan's shop and I'm back to normal performance. Go back outside and it's a mess again. I quit the game and launch again and no problems for hours. So I kept playing with no issues, went to Whiterun, killed the first dragon, came back to Balgruuf, get Lydia and stuff, go out towards Silent Moons Camp and as soon as I arrive, here it goes again! But this time I'm in combat so it's even more annoying. The problem is, I have no idea how to troubleshoot this issue, it seems completely random to me. It didn't happen in my previous playthrough months ago so I'm guessing it has something to do with one of the mods I updated (quite a few), or one of the few brand new ones I added (All Geared Up Derivatives SE, CBBE SMP, HDT-SMP, KS Hairdos SMP). Also, before anyone tells me it has anything to do with my hardware not being powerful enough, overheating or to decrease graphics settings and such, here are my specs: Watercooled 2080Ti - Typically runs between 40% and 80% load in-game, temperatures range between 40°C and 60°C. Nothing here seems react when the problem occurs.Watercooled 6700K - Typically runs between 50% and 70% load in-game, temperatures range between 50°C and 70°C. When the problem occurs, usage stays at 100% and temperature at around 80°C.32GB DDR4 @ 2900HzHow can I upload a list of my mods ?
