I checked back with my fiance and she said that we wouldn't move in until her parents have moved out so we will probably rent for the first few years and take it from there. Thanks for the advice. It will be over a year until we get married so I told her no need to finalize anything until the time is closer.

I guess the biggest thing is feeling like i owe them forever.

Living in the same house would be the biggest deal breaker. If they are moved out though, it wouldn't be too bad.

Their farm is out in the country so I would only currently be able to get dial-up internet.

Her grandmother is that way, but I am guessing that in this example she would have passed away by then if her parents are in her house.

Here is a life question for you guys and girls. My fiance has asked me if I want to move into her parent's house after we get married to save money. She tells me that they will move into her grandparent's house and we can live in theirs. They are both on the same farm which would put her parents basically across the back yard, about 2 football fields away. Anyone have any kernels of wisdom available for this?

:psyduck: If you really want to have your faith in the human race destroyed, go read the comments under any news article on the "major" news networks websites. People seem to think that since they can hide behind their screen name, they can get away with/say anything that they want. I remember when Blizzard said they were going to get rid of screen names on their forums a few years ago and force people to post under their real name. People freaked out.
