Yeah won't happen, If they tried making a monthly subscription for people to use mods the game won't sell, I wouldn't buy it and a lot of others wouldn't. Mods is one of the reason I play these games if I had to buy a $60 game then pay monthly to keep the mods I play with in it no matter how low it is I would be paying them for the rest of my life as I still play mirrowind with mods in it after 12 years of owning it, as well as oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and of course Skyrim. I still play all of them, now if fallout 4 had a monthly subscription and I did buy it do you think I would still play it 12 years later if when I went back to play it I couldn't use the mods I had in my save game. The company would lose money, lose fans, because we know how great the monthly subscription work for playing ESO and how many people kept playing it after they beat it.

Don't know what hate you could of ever got your work is amazing your in my top 3 fav modders of all time along with Chesko, and Grace Darkling.
  3. I added a comment on Steam not saying anything but I hope this isn't the first step for steam to update the games in some way so only mods from the steam workshop will work in the games and for some reason now I am blocked from commenting on steam.

I'm just gonna use free mods from the nexus, and if a modder removes his/her mods from the nexus and goes to steam f@ck him/her and their mods. No matter what we will live on not all modders are going to go and those who charge are gonna find themselves with no fans and no money.

  6. In response to post #24560104. That system would be fine and I would be all for it, but charging for it when some people can't afford $5 for a mod is not good for the modder as they lose fans and not good for the community.
  7. Chesko starting charging for his mods, but still says "The first thing I want to point out is that I intend to continue releasing my mods for free on Skyrim Nexus , after a period of time spent exclusive on the Workshop. You will not be locked out of my work." I hope he keeps his word as he is one of my fav modders. People don't attack those who go to the money system though just find new modders to follow and start doing it yourself. I for one have no problem donating to the modders when I can if they set the base price as $0 or pay what you can and go up from 25 cents to 5 dollars. They do deserve money for their time but it shouldn't be about the money it should be about getting their work to as many people as they can and only making money from those who can afford it.
  8. In response to post #24558709. Yes the Dark ages have started, hopefully you keep putting up your Nexus Exclusives and don't fall to the dark side.
  9. Charging for mods are just going to led to people to putting up mods they bought on pirate sites for others which is never good for anyone, I already seen mods that were free the other day costing money now. I'll get my mods from the nexus Like i always did f@ck the steam workshop and their money grab. The only thing that worries me is all the modders taking down their mods because they now want money for them.
  10. Those quests been stuck in my game for about 6 months now the only way to get them to go away is to download the unofficial patch and start the game over what to me isn't worth it
