  1. i made a prop mod and adding something to the X2BodyPartTemplateManager ini works fine so dont know... maybe "Shen_GD.ARC_Shen_Arms_A" is not the prop the game actualy uses for shen, but i cant find anything else :(
  2. Is there a way to edit the outfits Shen and Tygen are wearing ? i have tried to edit them in the .ini like this (and it didnt work obviously :D ) [XComGame.X2BodyPartTemplateManager]-BodyPartTemplateConfig=(PartType="Arms", TemplateName="Shen_Arms_A", ArchetypeName="Shen_GD.ARC_Shen_Arms_A", Gender=eGender_Female, bVeteran=false, CharacterTemplate="HeadEngineer", SpecializedType=true)+BodyPartTemplateConfig=(PartType="Arms", TemplateName="Shen_Arms_A", ArchetypeName="Katoffel_DrShen.ARC_Shen_Arms_A", Gender=eGender_Female, bVeteran=false, CharacterTemplate="HeadEngineer", SpecializedType=true) not sure it that is even right in the first place for editing inis
  3. I have had some problems with that too. I would suggest u read capnbuns tut for modding props in as he shows you how to export from blender and import to the game. Other than that I would try to not have more then one mesh in one fbx. The fbx exporter in blender adds bonename_end to every last child bone if u don't check the specific box in the exporter (when exporting hats that does not matter cause the game ignores them, but maybe that messes something up in ur case).
  4. Hey  im making a new hat based on a vanilla asset. basically im adding something on top off a vanilla hat and giving that part a new material (so there are 2 materials on my mesh). after i imported the new skeleton mesh in the udk i linked the vanilla material to it. Problem now : my newly added part shows just fine (textured and everything) but the "vanilla" part pointing to the vanilla material does show this "blue-white-checkers-no-material-found" texture. So my question now : Can u properly point to the vanilla material ? if it doesnt work ill just have to copy all the textures and the material itself... pointing to the vanilla assets would be obviously better  Thanks for replying Kat
