  1. Thank you so much!!! This work around outright saved Skyrim for me!! I was near ready to give up, so thank you so much :D
  2. Those are among the first things I did, I went pretty in depth about the steps I took under the spoiler tag in the OP. I appreciate any advice to help me out, so thank you for posting!
  3. Hey everyone, I don’t usually post here but I’m sort of at the end of my rope and was hoping you guys might have some answers. I began running into issues with my fallout 4 about a week after dooms launch. I had been excited about doom and had updated my graphics driver’s along with installing one or two mods without testing them first. Since then I have been plagued with unexplained total system freezes. I am writing this post in the hopes that somebody, anybody, can help me figure out what the cause of this issue is and how I can fix it. Note: I am extremely computer literate and have been modding games for at least 10 years now, so please no comments of “Well it’s obviously the mods” With that being said, I’m now going to outline all the steps I’ve taken to troubleshoot this issue, with as much detail as I can manage. What I've tried: This issue is only affecting Fallout 4, no heating issues were registering as my temperature gauges all read perfectly normal temperatures. I’ve been playing the game for 650 hours without issue, so I don’t know what could possibly be doing it. These are my computers specs:
  4. Yeah, I think what you'd want it more along the lines of a jumppack + jango under armor mod. Power Armor's kinda a different animal.
  5. This is what I want. I wan't there to be a reason to use the older models. Maybe one is stealthier or maybe one enhances strength more, but can't jump. It would fit in with the lore found in certain terminal passages on suit development. That's exactly what I aim to achieve, I actually have a post about it in detail if you'd like to give me some feedback on my plans for the mod I'll make.
  6. and here I am just thinking about how to rebalance them so there's a reason to use the "Older models"
  7. So I haven't ever really posted on this forum before like this, but I figured with how excited I am for fallout 4 and actually being involved in making a mod for it, I might as well use all this energy talking about it in the mean time. I kinda want feedback and a sort of list of things from people who play differently or are more familiar with the lore then I am. This idea may be split up into two or three different mods depending on feedback, but basically I don't really like how Bethesda gave us this awesome method of upgrading and customizing our power armor only to give it a linear progression that renders previous models of PA useless after you get the "newer" stuff. So for one mod (or one component of the mod, idk yet) I want to give the different power armors different utility. for instance these are my thoughts at the moment. The Second Part is making more under armors viable, vault suits can be upgraded to incredible numbers, but most other under armor is totally under-powered by comparison. Simply put I'm going to allow other under armors to be modded and upgraded just like vault suits. If anyone has any suggestions for armors to be added to this list just leave a comment. For the record this is all subject to change and I'm eager to hear feedback on all this.
