  1. I think you did not understand the problem : in the Nexus Mod Manager, all my mods are set as "activated". With the little green check on the left. But in the game they're not. In other words, you do not know how to use NMM either. On the upper part of NMM, there are two tabs. One says plugins, open that. and put a check mark on your mods. The green check does not mean your mod in NMM is activated. It means it's installed. It can be installed and have the plugin in game unticked for a variety of modding reasons, like needing the mod resources active but the plugin disabled.
  2. First thing you should do is Google "How to use Vortex" and actually read/watch instead of just doing whatever.
  3. Use the older version, not the 16.10. It's not working for some people.
  4. The problem being there is nothing IN scoped bows that could conceivably cause a CTD. It's just additional meshes. Basically something else in your mod profile is causing the CTD with scoped bows. Maybe it's getting overwritten or something.
  5. 18 min video... pass. Anyone got the tl;dr version? My earlier post. It's basically the Tamrielic version of the Farnsworth Parabox. The Farnsworth Parabox is an item, and the name of an episode in Futurama where said item appeared. The Farnsworth Parabox is a box that contains the universe. Originally the box in Universe 1 contained the box for Universe A and vice versa. Through shenanigans, the gangs ended up with Universe 1 containing the box with itself inside. So Universe 1 is located in a box that itself is located in Universe 1 (same thing for Universe A).
  6. You can go overboard with any game if you want to. If you keep your modding in Skyrim from getting overboard, it would be as simple as dragging and dropping a couple mods (I remember 2011-2012 with that. LOL). Plus Witcher 3 is using an updated 64bit engine. Skyrim LE (I didn't catch if you were using LE or SE) is using a 32bit engine with a hard cap on RAM usage (doesn't matter if you have 16GB RAM, it will only use around 2.5-3GB), among other limitations of an instruction set that's like 2 decades old. so you need to optimize a bit to get everything working.
  7. Dude I ran a 500 mod build on Oldrim with LOTD, some textures, SMIM, Amazing Follower Tweaks, etc. It's fine. It's more of whether your mods work together or not, and whether you did your due homework and added bugfix/performance enhancing tools/ini edits etc. The issue with Oldrim is that it's a 32bit program. So you'll have to do stuff like ENBoost, INI edits, install tools like Crash fixes and stuff to keep a heavily modded game running fine.
  8. It's the Tamrielic version of the Farnsworth Parabox.
  9. One, there is a tool called Loot to sort the load order for you. That "load order" you posted will not work because for example, Jaysus Swords is an esm, which means that it has to go near the top. Doesn't matter what comes below it. It's going to go up top or the game crashes. These mods also have patches, leveled lists and bashed patches which make them play nice together. For example, I do have Immersive Weapons, Lore Weapon Expansion, Heavy Armory, Dawnguard Arsenal, and Jaysus Swords in my load order. However, thanks to making a bashed patch, they play nicely and any enemy I encounter will have a random chance of bearing a weapon from either of those mods. For example, I walked near Helgen to see an Imperial Patrol (from Immersive Patrols) fight a group of bandits. The bandits lost, and on looting I found one was carrying a war hammer from Heavy Armory, another was carrying some sword from Immersive Weapons, and another carrying some cyrodillic blade from Lore Weapon Expansion. Insanity's weapons are just retextures, so with the Matorsmash tool, you can actually turn them from separate mods into one big mod. I have a 500 mod build centered around Legacy of the Dragonborn and several quests, despite the game having only a limit of 255 plugins (I'm WAAAY beyond that) thanks to these tools of merging.
  10. The individual patches are gone, they have been combined to USLEEP (Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch). There is no more separate patches for Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. Obviously you need to have all 3 DLC to be able to use USLEEP.
  11. Horse Whistle skill and fast dismount is available on Convenient Horses mod.
  12. Are you launching using SKSE? What mods do you have?
