  1. You don't need Photoshop for this, you can use something like XnConvert to convert the DDS to PNG, edit them, then convert them back to DDS with transparency using the same tool. I've done this myself so I know it works
  2. I went through all the diffuse textures and couldn't find any orange splatters. They're all red. I saw the images on your mod thread, and honestly, they look red to me as well. Maybe that person should calibrate their monitor
  3. How exactly did you run the tool in the first place? I must be missing something here, running the BigHat exe did nothing
  4. You can convert them to png files, make your edits, and then convert back to dds files with something like XnConvert. Just make sure you enable transparency for the final converted images. I found that enabling "preserve metadata" and "preserve color profile" in XnConvert output settings does just that
  5. Texture modding tutorial (not mine): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=An7PsHUYxbs I think "WP_A_0300_*" from the "parts" folder is the Kusabimaru, but I'm not 100% sure.
  6. People take this mod for too granted now, so thanks again for all the work you guys put on this. Thanks for letting us whiners play with our mods again!
  7. EDIT: Okay I'm sorry. I found out the reason for crashing was my GPU overclock, not the mods. If anyone looked at this and bothered to look up the mods, I apologize for essentially wasting your time. My bad! ____________________ Hey, I recently uninstalled everything Witcher 3 related as I got sick of the game crashing all the time. Not just random crashes, I couldn't play for more than three minutes. I'm now installing it again but won't go overboard with mods, but there are still a few I really would like to use. I'm not sure if mods are causing the crashes, so I'm posting my mod list here, hoping that someone knows more than I do. And by the way, all mods were merged successfully with WitcherScriptMerger - Double Tap For Lightsource Interaction - Better Roach Control - Friendly HUD - Immersive Cam - Instant Tooltips - Sort Everything - Witcher Book Collection - Geralt HairWorks Colors and Styles - Ciri Face 4k Retextures New Makeup - Better Than Icons - - Better Torches - - High Quality Faces - Jump in Shallow Water - The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project - VelenLightingMod (The one with Character Lighting Fix merge) - Familiar Music Replacement - Toxicity - Clean Face and Screen - No Dirty Lens Effect
  8. I thought 1.9 was only for PS4, while PC users will get a free high res pack DLC. PC version will also have a few updates. There's already a Steam beta for the 1.9 version.

  10. Simply, whenever it starts to rain, replace the weather with the snowing weather. I hate how the rain makes the game look so I always meditate for it to go away, but on special occasions like after completing certain missions, it starts to snow, and I think it looks so pretty. Thanks for reading and huge thanks to potential modders! Always appreciate your work for the community.
  11. Dude; i think you deserve a medal.. Give me your donation link! Where did you find the representative quest IDs and what's that "post_mafia" thing?
  12. Well it must be part of some mod I have then, because it looks like this on my map. http://i.imgur.com/yGLfhX0.jpg My best guess would be FriendlyHUD
  13. Wouldn't it be cool for the Wild Hunt to actually spawn at cities at midnight if it was the full moon, and start massacring people? Extra cool if it started snowing shortly before the attack, which makes you a little bit confused, and you notice it's 12 at midnight and full moon. I have some ideas, but no knowledge. Maybe if the requirements were met, the Wild Hunt would spawn at the closest fast travel point to you.
  14. Open your map, go to filters, click on the "Undiscovered location" marker to hide them, and you're done. The filter list shows how many of them you have.
  15. You can disable "path to objectives in minimap" or download Friendly HUD http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/365/?
  16. Not my post, but I was looking for something like this. Thanks for the simple instructions, works well!
  17. You're at a crucial point of the story, with lots of very emotional and cinematic scenes, then you get a quest objective, "Follow Yennefer". You try walking, and she speeds ten feet ahead of you leaving an awkward gap between you. You try sprinting, for a short time it looks like you're running at the same speed, but quickly you pass her and she's left in the distance. So you have to awkwardly sprint, stop, sprint, stop, to stay right next to her. Request: Whenever a companion or a quest character has to either follow you or leads you, make them be right next to you, and then match your speed perfectly. I have no experience in creating mods so I can't say whether this would be an easy or a complex task. But many thanks in advance if you plan on giving this a go! :)
