Sorry if this question is posted infinite times already, but how do I setup skyrim on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate to let them work with mods? Some basic information: OS: Windows 7 x64 Ultimate GPU: GTX580 CPU Intel i7 950 MoBo: Asus Rampage III Extreme I've got 2 .esp files, I've placed them in Skyrim/data, but after 'loading' them when Skyrim starts (data files) they both do not seem to cause any change. I've only edited one line in SkyrimPreferences.ini until now.

Well, maybe somebody could decide that? Anyway, I've tried the console commands as you suggested, but it seems impossible. Maybe you should use the command removefromfaction, as I tried?

So, is anyone able to create a (simple) mod for this?

Can anyone create a mod which enables Karliah of the Thieving Guild to be able for a marriage, or that she will be your companion in crime? Ofcourse there won't be any voice lines, but if she only uses her common lines, it would be fine. With some stupid programm, a "Yes" which sounds like Karliah wouldn't be too difficult right? I've already tried to add her to my marriage faction, what did not work. Neither does the command for my companionfaction work, such a pity. Regards, Muiroe.
