  1. People love to parrot eachother in the echo chamber. It creates a sense of community, a "us vs them" that can be nice to feel part of a group. It is a stupidity of great proportions. Get facts, read for yourself. Your concern *is* invalid. It *IS* a separate game. Two different folders on your computer. Two different games. You can run one or the other. You can have all the mods you have now. Nothing changes. You can play the 'old' version with all your Mods, and the new version. Or both. Or none. Or everything in between. Stop worrying and start enjoying we will have more choice! Shivala, no need for the "told off", still I appreciate your insight. I understand the subject here is not about how people "parrot" each other, but about the relevancy of mods in one of our favourite video games, and I was simply sharing what I read. Is it true or not? I do not know, I was not neither stating a point nor saying that what I read is the truth and nothing but the truth. I believe my concern *is* valid because remember we have never really "owned" any digital products we have bought over the years. I do not own my $1000 copy of Photoshop or my $60 copy of Fallout 4, yet after all that hardly earned money we put on to have the "right to use" all those applications, the big companies behind can simply and without warning, upgrade, overwrite, change and add things —some of them needed, I admit — that perhaps we users do not want or that start causing bugs and problems in our work flow, or game flow. Yet, thank you for the clarification that it will be in fact a standalone game in my Steam library. Best Regards
  2. Many people in different discussion forums believe that for PC it will be a forced upgrade, not a standalone game in your Steam library. Also, they are convinced that the current version with mods looks exponentially better than the remastered version. My concern is, if after upgrading to the new version some great mods, such as Climates of Tamriel and Realistic Lighting Overhaul will continue to work well. it would be sad if they do not. I love these mods.
  3. Hello friends! I recently purchased a new PC, with a different GC and processor (used to own an ATI Radeon now I have an Nvidia GTX) Reinstalled Skyrim And because I did not want to manually reinstall each mod I simply dragged and dropped my old DATA folder into the new fresh installation. Perhaps not the best way to do it, but so far everything seems to work pretty stable. However, I also installed NMM but the program does not recognize any of my installed mods. So the question is if there is a way to refresh all these mods in NMM so the program can continue managing and updating them as it did on my old PC. Also, can I use any of those apps, such as Wrye Bash to clean and verify the inregrity of my mods? Thank you!
  4. Thanks for the support. Hopefully some good samaritan modder will listen to our pleas ;-)
  5. Hello everybody: A few months ago I downloaded the great mod "Vampire Slavers Den", which adds a nice lair with a lot of great features. Among them, a nicely done dungeon with a good number of female prisoners, most of them bound in torture devices. I have been using that den as my main home ever since, and I enjoy being there greatly. However, there is something that affects the immersion of the game: I am talking about the voices of the torture victims. Approaching one of them and hearing that "Need something?" or that "Hu?" speeches definitely breaks the whole illusion of the mod. May I suggest, if is possible, some kind of mod that could recreate the pain moanings of the torture victims at the DB Dawnstar sanctuary, and transfer them into all those dungeon mods? I believe the result would be astonishing!. Thank you for reading this post.
  6. Well in my particular case I had to ;) ; It must have just been my luck or my pc Greetings
  7. Thank you warriorwithin! Works perfectly (and looks good too) You need to start a new game though (did not work with my saved games) but even then is well worth it! Greetings
  8. Hello all! I don´t know some of you might agree, but one of the features I have always loved in the Elder Scrolls series is the ability of having your female character barefoot whenever you want to. I recently acquired Skyrim, installed it and what a disappointment when I noticed how unrealistic the character feet was... :armscrossed:  So it would be appreciated if someone could come up with a mod to correct such hideous looking feet; or is it one already somewhere? Thank you and greetings to all!
