  1. not sure if i have a problem or not but think i may need help Long story short I got a new pc which stopped working but had skyrim working great and was using several mods one of which was the enb series mod 1.02 i think and when it loaded i used to get some enb text on the right hand side of screen which then disappeared . As i said the pc stopped working and I recieved a brand new machine so have started putting skyrim back together but I think I have a problem now as although nexus mod manager seems to be working I don't know if it is as according to the enb series readme it is supposed to go in the directory that contains the tesv exe file but the mod manager puts it in the data folder of the skyrim folder also no mods show up in the data part of the launch screen also when I load skyrim to play now i don't get the enb text on the screen which i need to slow the graphics down as i get a stuttering screen (another story but this mod fixed it )
  2. I've not played this in years but with playing skyrim got back into this with all the new textures however when I go into a store i always seem to get whatever the maximum of an item thats on sale ,eg i want to buy a pessle and mortar ,the store keeper has 2 but i can only afford 1 but it always tries to sell me 2 which i cant afford how do i buy only the ammount of things i need
  3. unfortunatly looked in both places but not there and before anyone asks it's not a hooky copy would it have been saved in a .bsa file or something?
  4. Does anyone know where the saved games are located I have a new pc and want to transfer the saved game files onto it
  5. my spec is a i7 cpu 2700k, a gtx580 with 1.5gig ram, 8 gig sys mem where do i find enb series?
  6. I know this is probably the oposite of what you would want but I think i need to reduce my fps because I am getting massive screen flashes as i move about at the moment, I'm in black reach but it has briefly occured in alftand cathedral but using fraps I get upto 190fps which causes problems it seems to start if when moving about I get over 130fps anything under no flashing I have my screen res at max 1920 x1080 and am running skrim at ultra settings any ideas please.
  7. Hi Don't know if you would call this stuttering but I seem to have a problem when moving about at the moment I'm using an nvidia gtx580 card at ultra high settings. When i move about I get like a flickering or flashing very briefly on the screen while I move so i'm moving all the time I get the flickering if I stop moving the flickering stops. Has anyone else experienced this ? or is there a fix somewhere?
  8. Firstly many appologies for asking this but I've sort of done a double whammy as I've just got a brand new machine that has an i7 2700k cpu and an nvidia gtx580 gc as a result i put everything at ultra high settings everything running lovely I then added the skyrim hd 1.4 mod for the graphics it says to put the textures folder into the skrim/data but the folder doesnt exsist in my skyrim/data so i just put the whole thing in there is that correct the full path is c:/program files x86/steam/steam apps common/skyrim/data its also the first mod i've added so not really sure if i've done it correctly,is there a way to check I suppose i should have had a play around without the mod then installed as i may have then seen a difference.
  9. Hi Can anyone advise the best mods to get for skyrim I'm in the process of building a new pc and the spec should just about give me enough for ultra high settings I'm putting together an i7 2700k overclocked to about 4.5ghz 8gb of ram and a 1.5gb nividia gtx580 running on a 1920x 1080 screen I would like to get the best look of scenery/water,sky that i can so mods along that line would be greatly appreciated I'm only about a 1/3rd the way through the game and have stopped playing until i make this system so i can fully appreciate the game in all its glory cheers all
