  1. I will try this after work today. Shame that fine steel swords have this problem. Insanitys textures for regular steel swords are beutifull. Strange that Fine swords were left in this condition.
  2. No never did any texture stuffs. i know how to tweak around construction kit. But dont have any graphical skills.
  3. Did it resolve that blurriness? Are you planning to upload it.
  4. Oh I didnt know that thanks for info. Has anyone done those detail maps yet?
  5. Using Insanitys armoury compilation and I have problem with Fine steel swords (short, long and claymore). When facing certain directions swords look awfully blurry and even when textures show its lower quality than it should. Installed with Mod organizer and it should be ovewriting anyother that touches those files. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/Images/166627/? Blurry http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/Images/166628/? better As you can see textures blur depending where you look. Also disregard UI I was tweaking ini at that moment thats reason it looks silly. 6. Bumping up with some new information. Seems CTDs occur everytime I try to move away from cities after playing some time. Fast traveling somewhere else "fixes/delays" CTDs. I am quite lost with this. Never before encountered something like this also I dont see anything in logs that could cause it.
  7. Today I have gotten sudden CTDs in certain locations, I have not added any modds into game recently. Also I have not had CTDs like this before. First I got them everytime I tried to approach Riften from south. Tried 5 times every time I got crash. Then I just decided to fast travel to Whiterun. After that game worked normal for few hours. Now When I try to ride away from Solitude towards High Rock border I get instant crashes. I am generally quite conservative with mods and avoid script heavy mods. Because their unstability. I sort my mods with BOSS and I have made use of WRYEBASH. Also I have cleaned masters with TESEDIT. Here is my modlist Here is Papyryslog If anyone has idea what is causing these CTDs I would be really happy.
  8. Amount of people that got Skyrim because of modding/modding tools is really small. Modding is sometimes good and there are good mods out there for some games. But modding itself is not redeeming factor. Skyrim is good game without or with modding. I cant see modding as some PC game savior sorry. (I think that PC gaming is doing fine if not even better than consoles atm)
  9. Just wanted post one suggestion for your stand alone mods. Is there possibility that armors could be added to some merchant rather than crafted. Crafting menus are really cramped already. Also because all mods there are seem to add their armors as craftables it increases problem. Skyrim also needs more gold sinks to make money more usefull. These kind special armors would be excelent way to introduce gold sinks.
  10. I am not against people using and making anime, skimpy armors and other these kind mods. But I hate it when mod that adds medieval style plate armor and sallet helmets get burrowed under anime garbage and skimpy armor mods. This happens to many lore-friendly mods or mods that get their inspiration from medieval europe. This happened at somepoint with Oblivion. After watching DarkOnes video and if changes that he spoke of are implemented. There is some hope that you can find some lore-friendly mods in SkyrimNexus.
  11. Talos is not only a god but he is the most powerful of them all. Tiber has achieved CHIM before his ascension and only Vivec could ever hope the challenge him. No one from Akatosh to Sithis to Anu to Padomey could ever even touch Talos's power. You have to take account that there are according to many books in-game lore gods that do not appear in game itself. Reman and Shezarr gods were atleast worshipped in third era in Empire. I also bet that this continues to fourth era too. Escpecially Shezar/Shor wich is really a human god against elves. With great war against elves I am sure these gods have found new popularity. Only blind idiot would support Stormcloak traitors against Empire humanitys hope against elves. Stormcloaks are just Thalmor tool weakening Empire. So they can try overrun it again like in Great War. Before they were slaughtered in Battle of Red Ring. Like Legate Rikke I admit that there is some good arguments in Stormcloak agenda. At best they are misguided fools and at worst bloodthirsty rebels, thugs and traitors. With their leader being powermongering usurper who betrayed his Emperor during Great War while being Thalmor prisoner. While his Emperor fought for survival of humanity,
  12. Some thoughts: you are always going to have trouble in Skyrim with rebellious natives, either through monetary (empire taking silver ect) or religious unrest. So the Empire will always have to station a large army there, that is very expensive. If Skyrim ceded that need is revoked, though the empire might potentially have to station significant forces along skyrims borders these might well be cheaper than an occupying force. Actually no! Skyrim has been alongside Cyrodil of course most loyal part of all three Empires before this whole Stormcloak treason!

  14. Can be indeed if there is many processes running in the background. In this specific case utilities like Game Booster can help you. Lets assume you have these two lines in Skyrim.ini under the "[General]" section uExterior Cell Buffer=36 uGridsToLoad=5 make sure the numbers are not greater than these (which are default) for it would be memory killing in your system. (Notice the uGridsToLoad is always odd number and uExterior Cell Buffer is the uGridsToLoad + 1 squared ... in the case (5+1)^2. Many tweaks for powerful machines advise increasing those numbers to 7, 9 or even greater... this is fine but too demanding on anything less than the most powerful machines over there. And have a problem, simply reducing the number of grids to load invalidates savegames. I hope is not the case, if it is, come back to instruction on how to reduce that number and still be able to use previous savedates. Trying Game Booster now also I did not have "uGridsToLoad=5" line at all in skyrim.ini. Only had "uExterior Cell Buffer=36" added uGrids line there.
