  1. So i have a kind of interesting issue... I downloaded sorority girls of skyrim, its cute, I like the mod. But if I try to give them any armors, they always turn invisible and they just look naked. Doesnt matter if the armor is vanilla or a mod, doesnt matter which of the girls I give it to, they always turn invisible. The armor is there, if you open their inventory again it shows it equipped. It just seems the model is invisible. I tried equipping the same armor myself, it works just fine. I even tried giving it to a different follower from another mod, and it still works fine. Any ideas why that would happen? Any ideas of how to fix it? EDIT: I fixed it...im an idiot...I accidentally had an update to the mod placed out of order in MO...
  2. Hey Everyone So I got the mod "Wasteland Heroines Replacer". I have no problem with the mod, in fact, I never even got around to seeing what it does. The problem is that it requires the "Valkyr Female Face and Body Textures" mod and I cant STAND it. I understand some people might like it, just not my cup of tea, I hate it. Looks like I swapped my skin for flesh colored sandpaper... SO Question 1: Do you think the mod will work if I use just the standard CBBE skin textures? I kind of doubt it hearing what some people said in the comments on the mod. Not to mention, he did say it was required, not suggested... but maybe some of you who understand mods better can tell me if having a different skin texture will work. since I doubt question 1 will be a yes... Question 2: Can I safely uninstall this mod? I know deleting the skin texture should be fine, Vortex should just put the overwritten files back (or if all else fails I reinstall CBBE to reinstall the textures if I have to). But I dont know about the mod itself. I want to say it will be fine since its just cosmetic and it hasnt changed anything gameplay wise or mechanically but idk. Especially since it uses assets which were added, not just ones which were modified (like skin textures). Bonus Question: Could I uninstall some of the other mods I had to install to get this thing to work? The other mods I want to remove are: Appealing Moles deLuxe MakeupMISC Hairstyle The only ones that are vital to remove will be the skin texture mod and the wasteland heroines replacer. The rest I could leave but I wouldnt mind getting rid of them as I have no use for them and my 120+ mod list could use some spring cleaning... Thanks in advance. I feel fairly sure that getting rid of it should be fine but I want to make sure before I break everything (or before I progress much further in the game in case I need to go back to an older save from before I had this) Thanks everyone!~Ariana
  3. I finally got it! I ended up having to delete the physics AND do a zap, but eventually I got it to work! I somehow deleted physics on a lot of other items but somehow not all of them so Im a little confused there but hey, Ill take it. At the end of the day, I really didnt want physics for 95% of the things I wear so its not much of an issue. Thank you so much! I have spent hours doing this...its embarassing frankly. So thank you, I can stop making this forehead shaped dent in my desk any bigger... Here is what you were able to help me do!
  4. Thank you so much for the detailed post! I think I followed your directions correctly...but I still get the same problem... Now, you said to highlight the parts you want to KEEP, but then you showed highlighting the body, not the outfit. By keep I think you mean which part of the model comes out when there is clipping. I would think I would want to keep the outfit and not the body right? In any case, I tried doing it as you showed, applying the zap to the body, and not the outfit, and the other way, by applying the zap to the outfit and not the body, but either way it doesnt work. Now...when I reload the project after doing this (just hit "open current project in outfit studio" again from bodyslide), that zapped slider isnt there. Not sure what that means...idk if that means im not saving it incorrectly or something... Also, I will say that the problem is the breast physics. Which, clearly I dont particularly want while my character is wearing what is basically a steel sportsbra...I dont think her breasts are going to be flooping around much while she has that on. I dont know if that gives you an idea of another way to solve this problem.
  5. So boob physics are great. I get it. but sometimes, boobs really probably shouldnt be flooping around a lot...like when theyre being held in place by a big block of friggin metal...look if a sportsbra can keep my tits in place, a sportsbra made of steel is probably going to get the job done just as well... So Ive looked everywhere for how to disable the damn boob physics, it seems no one is interested in doing that (boobies that dont floop? How dare you?! Again...see: bra made of steel...). And the reality is that most of the time that my character is wearing clothes, her boobs are probably going to be held in place, even in pieces that arent armor, with the exception of the skimpiest of bras ( I do have some...I am bi...i do get it...). Im not sure how to fix this. I have seen some people say they should apply physics to everything, but that makes no sense for armor pieces. Im not sure if disabling physics globally is what I want, but it seems simpler and also will achieve the result I want 98% of the time. And the thing is I have seen some outfits do this, I have noticed that after applying some armor pieces, suddenly the physics is disabled, so it is possible somehow. oddly, one example is fortaleza's armor, if I apply a "full set" of her armor, it freezes physics, but if I apply just the chest piece, physics is enabled again...I dont get it. Can someone please tell me how in the bejesus this works? I have looked for hours and I just cant find the answer... Thanks everyone Ariana EDIT: Case and Point. The Metal Bra. I am starting to turn so that you can see what happens to the floopage as I do...
  6. So after much face-desking and hair pulling I finally discovered that bodyslide needs to be pointed to the DATA folder and not to the GAME folder...fml...the program should make that more obvious...might be a little salty about that, but w/e. Its now set correctly and most of my models are mostly fixed BUT some of them still clip slightly, especially while moving. Now I am not very good with using bodyslide or outfit studio, this is pretty new to me but I have spent a good while researching and have learned to do some things. And indeed, I have been able to fix most of my problems, there are just a few troublemakers I cant seem to fix...and they just so happen to be pieces I really want to use... To be clear, I HAVE built the models using bodyslide. I am using the CBBE Curvy preset. I applied the preset to the CBBE Body, as well as the outfit. (before anyone asks, I have tried using the CBBE Curvy (outfit) preset for the outfit, and it doesnt work, the outfits dont conform at all and clip all over the place) Im not sure why, most everything fits perfectly now, but a few do not. Namely, there is one piece where the breast still shows through the model, it only barely clips through (its more pronounced when moving, but is still present even while standing still). I built the outfit using the CBBE Curvy Preset, I tried using the Curvy (outfit) preset, and it makes things significantly worse. Now I am far from an expert with using bodyslide or outfit studio, but when I pull the outfit up in outfit studio (at least I THINK im pulling up the right thing? its kind of hard to know with everything having different names in every different place and stuff), and according to that, the outfit fits perfectly, no clipping at all. but in game, thats not the case. Any idea why this still doesnt fit? is there something Im doing wrong or have overlooked? Ive researched all I can and Im still at a loss... Thanks everyone Ariana
