I've never heard of "FAT" before is that just a type of file system that some removable SSDs have?

UPDATE: So apparently the reason my mods weren't working was because I did not enable the plugins. Normally these are automatically turned on with a hardlink but with the experimental one I had to manually turn them all on. So my mods do work I just wish I could change the deployment method to something more reliable

I'm trying to help my friend get into modding skyrim and we already have vortex and Skyrim Special Edition downloaded. Both are clean installs. My issue comes into when I went into the settings under "mods" in vortex I can't change the deployment method. The only one listed is "move deployment (experimental)". My friend is using a removable SSD that you just plug into his laptop could this be why I'm not getting the other options? In comparison I have a actual tower PC and I've always had the option of "hardlink". This normally wouldn't be an issue but none of the mods that I have downloaded seem to work even with this "move deployment (experimental)" setting. Can anybody help me?

I'm not sure if this is the best place to write about this but I have an unusual problem that I'm not sure if it's even correct or not. I'm using Vortex to play fallout 4 with mods and I have the most current version (4.6 for armorsmith extended and 8.6 for AWKCR) of Armorsmith Extended and AWKCR but when I look at my plugins on vortex my armorsmith extended.esp plugin says "Your installed version of Armorsmith Extended is not compatible with your version of AWKCR", yet I have the most up to date version of both of these mods. Am I missing something here like a patch or is this just an issue with Vortext? I'm going to leave this comment on the mod files too in case someone over there sees this and is able to help me first.

I agree! maybe it would depend on what race/gender you are too, for example maybe everyone who isn't an orc would find you repulsive if you were an orc wandering around naked. Or maybe the elderly would shun you for it no matter who you are until you put some clothes on

Hi, so my problem lies in the College of Winterhold storyline. I get to the point where Arcano is messing with the eye of magus and myself the arch mage and the other girl break down the ward or barrier or whatever it is and we go inside. Then I wake up and she tells me to go look for the arch mage and make sure he is okay, so i do that but here's the thing, the Arch mage is completely fine, in fact when i regain control of my character i head for the door and there he is, just about to head up to his chambers. I can follow him in there but when i try to talk to him he says nothing. I figured well hell, if he is supposed to be dead then i can just kill him, so i murdered him, got a small bounty, then the bounty went away since it was just the two of us up there, but I immediately get the mission "Rejoining the college" when i kill him. Another thing i noticed is when i kill him myself i can't loot his body. Also when i head to the courtyard where he is supposed to be lying dead, everyone is there saying he is dead and i can continue the quest line but I really don't want to at that point since i wanted the Arch mage's robes, and with him still being alive it really bothers me, I don't know if this is a issue with my mods or what but i will post my load order and if anyone can help me with this I would deeply appreciate it. If anyone needs more information I will help as much as I can. i have an idea that instead of npcs disliking it when your character is naked or telling you to put on your clothes they can either wolf whistle or just cheer or compliment your body. there is already a mod that removes the dialogue altogether which is fine and dandy, but i feel like it would add more realism and immersion to have npcs admire your body or whistle if you are nude instead of always being so prudish about it. I'm not a modder myself, i just enjoy using mods an i think a lot of people besides myself would admire this idea as a mod. If there is a mod that does something like this i would love it if someone pointed me in that direction!
