  1. I like it. though seeing that tech inst totally dead and some kind of factorization or automation would seem relevant, perhaps an engineer themed mod - in both the gaming "class" sense and the RL occupational sense.
  2. I took your advice and it does seem the transition animation is a slight of hand to distract you form the mechanic a bit. The other npc dont seem to miss a beat but all control is gone until you finish the transition and end up in first person view. while "in" the powered armor you can still un equip non PA armor/clothing( which seem to bug the pip from time to time) but not re-equip them. so there is some kind of carry over between the two. Also of note: could be just a bug; however, I have noticed that any head items may, or may not, be there visually when in PA with out a helmet slotted. It would seem to indicate some kind of replacement, again if its not a bug - ad to that is you look closely the armor you have equipped stops clipping through the PA just before the "enter" animations stop and you go into fps mode. so question is: where is the script / package that disables the visual representation of the non PA armor, yet keeps them associated in your pipboy (auto re-equip?) damn you're good.
  3. I'm trying to see if modding the power armor to stack with the other gear is possible at the moment. Ive narrowed it down to the power armor frame being the anchor to what ever is swaping bonuses. I've dug around and see PA has its won actor values, I've looked at the enchantment and perk linked to the frame. I cant seem to see where its happening. I didnt see anything glaringly obvious in global. thoughts?
  4. I was thinking, Fallout 4 has the potential for the above in spades. Perhaps it will need G.E.C.K / FO4SE. I loved these kinds of modes in Minecraft, and really cant stand playing that game with out them. I'm hoping you mod wizards feel the same. The skill needed here is beyond my ability so I appeal to the powers that be. It blows me away the mods that where made for FO3 / Skyrim / Oblivion / Morrowind. I get excited thinking what will be wrought in FO4. I was picturing machines, factories, nuclear reactors, waist water plants, desalination, big pharma factories, maybe even industrial farming. and a F** cement factory lol. *cough*. Oh and better power management ( wires an the like ) Anyway, here's hoping it would be popular enough to do, and someone champions the cause.
