  1. Thanks guys! Even if most of that makes me feel like I'm reading some sort of transcript from a far away planet in martian language haha. I've decided to delete everything and reinstall Skyrim, start afresh. Perhaps this time I can go with what I'd consider only essential mods which might help me a bit while I'm learning.
  2. Hey guys I'm new to modding but have spent the last week or so watching as many videos as I can and reading through all of the modders descriptions thoroughly, and have installed mods via NMM to the best of my ability. It seems that MO is better but I struggled to get used to how that works as it seems to do a lot more than Nexus Mod Manager. I went to start a new game today and keep crashing, usually within the first minute or so. I managed to do the thing where you change one of your memory block things to 512MB instead of 256MB, so I know that it's not that. I've also steered clear of ENB's and 4K textures. My load order is below, so if anyone can see anything wrong with it and help out that would be massively appreciated! 3. I've since noticed that the box to the esm. for the mod was unchecked on NMM - Being a somewhat newbie to modding I didn't think it had anything to do with it seeing as I installed it manually! Hopefully now that I've ticked it, it will work. Cheers for the link, I'll be sure to have a good browse sometime this evening.
  4. It's a manual installation and seems to be fool proof in that it's literally copying the contents to Skyrim's Data folder, which I've done. However, Gorr isn't showing up at the Tavern in Riverwood, and I've waited a couple of days in-game. I really want to get this to work as it's the final mod I'd like to install before I start my first modded play-through, and think it will work great with Inconsequential NPC's to add more life to the world of Skyrim. All my other mods seems to be working fine and fully compatible. Any help as always would be much appreciated!
  5. Sorry, I meant Wearable Lantern and NOT RDO. Sorry, late night last night!
  6. I have Campfire installed, which is definitely compatible, and when I go to install the mod in the title it asks me if I should overwrite the file. Do I go ahead with that? Thanks!
  7. I've copied and pasted your settings so will see if it works buddy. Will me launching SKSE from MO make some sort of difference that could be somehow causing the issue do you think perhaps? I ask this only because you seem to be clued up in regards to these things, so hope you don't mind me asking. Cheers!
  8. Hi mate I've sorted that out and now don't get that message when I run Skyrim as I was. Everything now seems to be exactly where it should be, but for some reason whenever I run the game and exit I simply can't find the memoryblockslog.log file anywhere at all to see if it's properly functioning or not. Do you have any idea why the log.log isn't being created pal? If I go to Data > SKSE I have 2 files which are 'plugins' and a 'SKSE' text document. If I click on the plugins file I see this - BugFixPlugin.dll BugFixPlugin CrashFixPlugin.dll CrashFixPlugin CrashFixPlugin_preload MemoryBlocksLog.dll MemoryBlocksLog The SKSE text document shows - [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 Everything is legit, no?
  9. I keep getting a message that states "Warning: SKSE Memory is not active in your game! Etc etc..." at the menu when I load up the game. I've checked and I do have the needed 'DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768' in my SKSE.ini folder under [Memory]. I load SKSE through MO as I have LOOT integrated. The 'Target' for the SKSE is "C:\Skyrim Mod\Mod Organizer v1_3_11-1334-1-3-11\ModOrganizer\ModOrganizer.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\skse_loader.exe" -forcesteamloader" and the 'Start in:; is "C:\Skyrim Mod\Mod Organizer v1_3_11-1334-1-3-11\ModOrganizer". I believe the above is all correct afterall following some steps carefully, so does anyone know why I'm still getting the error message?
  10. Thanks dude, I'll be sure to check it out.
  11. Why is there no fat people in the whole Skyrim? I always wondered why everyone was walking around with biceps and abs Mr Arnie Schwarznegger would have been proud of in his prime! I think a mode that gives people different weight and physiques would be wonderful, as I don't believe there is anything like this currently?
  12. Neither are the one I remember guys. The one that I had installed a couple of years ago you could change the font, size and position of the text you see when you have a conversation with anyone in the game in which you can select what to ask and/or answer. Maybe it got taken down at some point, meh. Cheers anyone though!
  13. I know that there used to be one as I had it installed a long time ago but just can't think of what the mod was called, and haven't been able to stumble on it yet which isn't through the want of trying. I'm speaking about the font that appears in the game when you talk to somebody, the dialogue box. Does anyone know something like this on Nexus?
  14. Okay buddy, many thanks for clearing that up for me. Much appreciated!
  15. The best way I can explain it is simply that I read somewhere that the game only allows you to download and install so many mods if they use up a lot of certain data, such as textures. I was wondering if there was any mod or programme that allows you to see how much you have used up and/or what you have left before the game might become unstable. Hopefully that makes a bit of sense, although I won't take any offence at all if you tell me it doesn't haha. Cheers.
