Does this make a difference? Everything I've seen said it requires DirectX 9 or 10, when I run dxdiag it says it's DirectX 11 which I didn't even know existed??

Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family Approx Total Memory: 1695 MB Intel Core 2 Duo 2.20 GHz 4.00GB RAM Win 7 Home Premium 64-Bit I realize it's not fantastic, but all the specs requirements I read indicated that it should at least be adequate. I would think better than 5 FPS.

I'm not much of a gamer, but I have spent over 5 hours so far trying to get Skyrim to play on my PC. No matter what I do, I can't get more than 5-7 FPS while playing. I checked all my comp specs prior to purchasing, there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to get it to play. Processor is fine, adequate graphics card, etc. I have set everything to the lowest quality, and still I can't get it above 7FPS. Give up and buy an Xbox? Or is there anything I can try?
