  1. I nice looking mod, however I was looking for something that would alter appearances within the game confines or slightly alter looks but maintain the same feel of the world. A world populated exclusively by models isn't quite the gaming experience I'm looking for w/ skyrim. And sexy old people always are always a bit weird. :P Thanks for the heads up though. Possible I'll end up using it anyway until the CK comes out.
  2. First off I'd really love to see a vid of you soloing a dragon naked on master difficulty w/ only a glass sword and bow. And since your saying its easy I assume you did this w/o ever dieing. Second, I am curious to know where you fought your first dragon alone, I was under the impression that the first dragon you fight is outside whiterun w/ several guards and other NPCs present, and others didn't spawn till after that quest. Of course I didn't explore the whole map before completing it myself so I could be wrong. Third, just because something is built into the mechanics of a game doesn't mean It isn't an exploit. Clearly using a book to infinitely level a skill isn't how it was intended to work. However I do use free training, I would rather think that my friends would train me for free anyway. And the oversight was that you need the initial fee to pay to begin with. (Directed at the thread in general, not flick) Finally, I think the ONE of the problems play difficulty is that people aren't 'playing'. Rather they are sitting in corners power leveling skills instead of just allowing them to progress naturally as they advance through the game. Then again I could just suck at the game :P Guess what I'm saying is the game is as hard or as easy as you want it to be.
  3. companions sometimes pickup arrows they get hit with. once one arrow is in the inventory they can use it infinately. character lvls are static. Bump for mod to fix follower leveling
  4. Anyone considered just turning up the difficulty? I'm playing on hard, and despite using the training follower "exploit" to level archery and hitting level 9 before I left the first village, I still get two shot by some of the quest/dungeon bosses. But have never gotten to a point where I felt like the proper use of strategy and some skill wouldn't enable me to advance. I'm playing as a heavy armoured mage/archer, and despite using sneak when I can for first hits and then go in for battle. I do not exploit long range shots, nor do I really find many situations to actually use that exploit w/ all the close quarters fights in dungeons. I think the game difficulty is fairly good atm, not perfect, but certainly providing challenge for those who want it.
  5. bump. It be really great to have a mod that would automatically level up your followers, I know poor Brelyna is suffering a lot from combat nowadays. I know there is a console command that approximates a fix, but there are several problems I have with it. 1) It only scales to you current level, meaning once you level up some you have to redo the procedure. 2) It only effects 1 of your followers, and can be a real pain in the a.... rump, if you switch out followers frequently based on you needs. 3) Using console commands in such a way can sometimes have strange and unwanted side effects. 4) Using console commands is often considered Cheating by steam and as such disable all trophies/achievements from that point onward. Most activated mods do not trigger this response (unless the mod simply accesses the console to paste in commands). It would be a great help if anyone could create a Mod for this. I'd attempt it myself but I don't even have the slightest clue where to start w/ modding.
  6. Followers level is set from the first time you enter their 'zone', so if you've been using her since the start of the game she will be quite underleveled now. Dismissing them and re-recruiting them will not fix the issue. Only way I know to fix this is to use console commands to disable then reable the desired NPC. This will sync them w/ you current level but if you continue to level up she will begin to fall behind again. So far I haven't been able to find a mod to correct this either. Getting ready to add a thread to the mod request list if you want to endorse it. I'd do it myself but I have no idea how.
  7. If you use the Showracemenu and don't change your race it will remove all your active magical effects. Including any passive racial buffs you may have, such dunmer fire resistance or breton magic resistance.
  8. Your not alone friend. Of all the possible companions Brelyna is at the top of my list for marriage (Aela and Mjoll runners up at this point) based on her personality, and the fact that she rarely says anything when your out adventuring. Which might sound like a negative but after the 400th time hearing Mjoll tell me that she her father wanted her to be a hunter you'll understand why its a positive. But when I finally got that flippin hood off (which was rather a feet in itself) I was like, In the name of Dibella whats with that hairdo. To that effort I've spent the hours trying to figure out if there is a way to modify NPC appearance in the game through console commands or other alternatives but so far no luck. Best I could do was change her race, which she looked pretty good as an Imperial (or a Dragon), but that just didn't seem ethical. Also what mod did you use to remove the wrinkles under her eyes? They do seem out of place and make her appear much older and more weary than her characterization implies.
  9. showracemenu will bring up the character creation screen using the console anywhere in the game. Although be warned there are numerous bugs involved no matter if you change anything or not. Does anyone know if there's a way to change the looks of NPC's with the console in this manner? Or in any other manner?
  10. I'd don't know much about modding but this one seems fairly simple. It would be great if stolen items were indicated in your inventory list w/o having to click on each item and see if it says stolen in the little box. Simply making the item name red in the inventory list or some other indicating symbol would be a great help. There was another thread requesting a whole new tab for stolen items but I would prefer something simpler that wouldn't add more clutter.
