  1. I am getting an error when running SSEEDIT 4.0.4 "There are no modules in the Data folder." How do I manually change the game path? Can't figure out where the setting lives. Thanks in advanced. SOLVED: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/r3d16l/how_do_i_change_which_skyrim_folder_sse_edit_is/ In MO2, since this is what use: add the directory argument that points to whichever skyrim directory you want as so: argument is -d:"C:'\Steam..\Data"
  2. I will try an older version. The comments on the mod site mentioned they tried this with no avail however, I will give it a go later when I am modding.
  3. I was thinking the same thing but the mod author only has meshes in the mod, no textures. So, I guess they are using textures from the base game??? I do not know how to correct this if this is the case.
  4. I am trying to fix an older mod that has been abandoned. It appears there is an issue with the meshes. When the armor is on a frame, the helmet flickers and the shoulders look fuzzy. When I drop the components, the torso is purple. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12096?tab=posts I am not a mod author and am not very familiar with the CK and not at all familiar with NifScope. Can someone either lead me on how to fix this or, fix this for me? If you do, I will upload the fix to nexus and credit you for the help. Thanks in advanced. :)
  5. OK, now let's find out why that ONE game is a problem... Is it installed on the same drive as the others? YES Any other details would help, considering that everything else is working now, except that particular one. So, is there anything different about it? (Installation, directory, download folder, mod staging folder etc) Everything about the install is fine which is why I am stumped. As previously mentioned, if there is a way to manually set the path in a config type file, that would solve the problem. Is there a way to do this? The old path is locked in somewhere in Vortex and does not change when I change the path using the UI.
  6. OK, so for the games that show up on the MANAGED tab, did you click on the + sign in the corner of each game and pick "Manually Set Location" CORRECT This worked for all but one game. Is there a config file I can edit manually to set the path for the one game I am having issues with?
  7. Don't any games show up under the MANAGED tab? = YES So, I should completely uninstall then reinstall Vortex? Will my current managed game config be lost?
  8. The check mark I am clicking on GAMES -> DISCOVERED -> check mark to the right on the game I want to manage First I had to the go into GAMES -> SUPPORTED then change the "selected folder" where the game now lives. I cannot PURGE the mods since I cannot load the game to be managed. I cannot change the Mods Staging and Download folder for the same reason. :/
  9. "GAMES------------>MANAGED---------Click the + on the game you want, click MANUALLY SET LOCATION" I did this as per my OP. Does not work. When I click on the check mar to manage the game I get the error in the OP. It shows it is pointing to an old drive.
  10. "The game location doesn't exists or isn't writable" Vortex is looking for an old drive. I changed the game path to the new drive however, when I try to "Manage" the game I get this error above. How do I get Vortex to recognize the new path? Seems like this is hard coded somewhere not available in the GUI.
