so i just updated the nexus manager to version .63.14 but my mod categories are all empty of mods - i still have .13 installed though in a different category (i always install them in brand new directories, just in case something happens) how can i export .13's list into .14? edit: to be extra-clear, i'm trying to ex/import my mods list for Fallout 4 - not sure if that matters lol screenshot: http://prntscr.com/f7h9p9

is it possible for a mod to allow npc's to react to direct beam light? (such as helmet lights for example, shining directly at their face.) reason being, i was thinking of adding a new npc type to the game based on Alan Wake's shadow people, where they got severely wounded by shining a light at them - more so if you focus it on them. i also watched a youtube video of 7 nights at freddie's foxy reacting differently at the flashlight depending on foxy's state (red eyes + flashlight = attack, white eyes = wounded, no shining eyes = it just stands there frozen in place) and i was wondering if this might also be doable within the game... adding foxy robot doll things to fallout 4. xD

I'm looking for a mod that stops NPCs from walking away from the player WHILE they have the dialogues opened... i know many of you suffered through this, at first hilarious then annoying, bug. is it possible someone came up with a fix for it yet? i mean. am i not interesting enough for them? i just walked out of a vault AND i destroyed at least one of the three super-powers, almost single-handedly for pete's sake lol on that note, i'd really like a mod that stops people from initiating a conversation with me in general, unless it's through a quest that starts that way...

just as the title says; does anyone know of a mod that changes object and property ownership when someone dies? i'm looking for one for new vegas, but since i also have FO3, might as well ask for that here as well when i get back to playing it (after i fix that dam bug where the game freezes after i level up). i know this mod exists for at least FO3 but i can't seem to be able to find it. thanks in advance everyone!

i'm also getting a CTD even when i start a new game... but it started out of nowhere. no new mods were installed between a healthy save and when the CTDs started. the game runs fine for a good minute or so then CTD... and it crashes immediately after i start a new game as well. >.< doesn't matter where i use the console commnand COC to... although this has almost nothing to do with your post. regrdless, as for your data folder, yes it's supposed to be like that.

old post, but since you haven't said you fixed it, try disabling EVERY mod you have and activating them 2-4 at a time (4, if issues disable, then 2, then 2 again, if issues, 1 at a time).. this fixed it for me. also...... DO use [spoiler ] tags... xD

lol i hate it when people fix their issues and don't say how they did it so others can figure it out as well. hey, OmniFWTX, how did you fix it? xD what is the mod you found called?

@notmyhome - lol i liked that about morrowind. i didn't even remember it until you said it xD @skyrimwolf1993 - fallout 3 has a lot of stuff skyrim doesn't have... and vice versa. =x

do you suppose this could be used on armour as well as swords, to create some kind of breakability to the game? o. O say, a "life" gauge for the armour.. based on light or heavy. then you'd have to have it repaired at a forge or pay, say, 20% of the armour's value to a vendor for them to fix it... would this be doable? also. how's the status on this mod? xD

an idea based on an original post. so i was commenting on someone else's thread and a set of ideas hit me. would it be very difficult to create a mod that would create random encounter NPCs with different names?as an add-on, would it be possible to change some kind of NPC generation algorithm to make them, by default, marriageable And able to become followers? (i'm talking about those random nameless NPCs we see walking around everywhere, about giving them names and other things)both items above would be part of, what i think would be a good name for it, a mod called GGANG! Generically Generated Actor Name Generator!this mod would have a counterpart to randomise their physical appearance and miscellaneous attributes, skills and preferences, namely GGAGG! Generically Generated Actor Gene Generator!what do you guys think? comments? suggestions? shoot down? hugs?

usually important, yes. but hardly ever essential ^^ edit: makes me wonder if it's possible to create a random NPC generator with random names that are neither important nor essential... who are also marriageable... and can become followers... further, if it's possible to randomise names for every generically generated npc =x lol i can picture the mod name already: Generically Generated Actor Name Generator - GGANG! xD and it's counterpart: GGAGG! (swap name for Gene... that would make them more randomly generated, physically =x) -
i can't believe i overlooked that... lol it was almost hidden, had to scroll down a bit inside the menu, to get to it. thank you emilio, that fixed it ^^ on a side note, it's amusingly ironic how the issue was on a non-adult mod, but i had to go to an adult-type forum to get the answer i needed xD

ergh D; another ring mod? how about instead of that, have only named NPCs haunt you? or, wear an amulet or diadem that would ward spirits away? -

that's where my idea would come in. only named NPCs would haunt you! -
you know what? it could even be a feature to go along side-by-side with brawling! xD you're each allowed to use 3 low-level shields. after breaking the last one, you're stuck brawling with no shields while your opponent still has theirs. =D
