  1. For those of you who haven't heard the news yet, Steam started doing this; http://www.engadget.com/2015/04/24/valve-steam-sell-mods/ I want to hear what the Nexus community thinks of this and how it might affect Skyrim Nexus. In particular, I want to hear from Business Enterprises and similar types of lawyers about the potential legal ramifications of this move. Everyone is welcome to comment regardless of profession, of course. Personally, I think it's a terrible move that is guaranteed to create a massive increase in s*** mods that are spammed solely in the hope of making a quick buck. I hope it won't hurt Skyrim Nexus, but I don't know the modding scene well enough to say one way or the other. Please keep it civil. EDIT; Everything I have heard until now suggests that this process was mandatory for Steam Workshop-I have been told that this is not the case, so now I am confused and would like clarification.
  2. Second EDIT: Thank you for the help, DaemosDaen, but I found a fix-go to this directory; Skyrim--->Data--->Meshes--->Clothes; then move the folder called yarlclothes03 to the desktop. Start Skyrim, and you should be able to finish the quest no problem. Once finished, save your game, quit to desktop, and put the file back into the clothes section, then start skyrim again and keep playing. Thanks to suprmidgt for testing this fix.
  3. Long story short, I finish the big 3-round fight in the sanctum, then it does the animation where all the swirly purple stuff goes through the door-that's when it crashes to desktop, every time. For the record, my version is fully up to date and modded, but I don't have any mods that would affect that quest, to my knowledge.
  4. Honestly, I think this is not worth the effort. Judging by what I've seen of the code used to dictate shape, size, and animation of the various monsters, a mod like that would effectively require you to create a new game from scratch, and it would be hellishly difficult to make it compatible with general Skyrim updates, not to mention mods in general. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd be willing to bet that I'm not.
  5. Apologies. I have dyslexia, so search-engining is difficult. A friend helps me edit my words before posting (as demonstrated here), but browsing through all those entries is a bit painful. Not an excuse, just an explanation. Apologies again for reposting/being lazy/whatever I did.
  6. Basically, I want a mod that allows you to be a werewolf and a vampire at the same time, no penalties. The mod can be as simple as just allowing you to have both at the same time, or you can add a whole bunch of story fluff if you want.
  7. I've completed the City On A Hill quest, and it shows up in the completed section of my journal. The mod description says that there is a bunch of other quests and stuff, and I can't figure out how to activate that, since there is no new thing in my quest journal.
  8. Long story short, I've troubleshot Killer Keo's CBBE armor replacer to death twice over, with repeated load order rearrangements, NMM overwrites and upgrades, uninstalls, reinstalls, vanilla skyrim resets, and other such things, and while everything else works properly, I still can't get the f*#@ing KiKe Daedric armor to show-it keeps giving me the not-CBBE, not-skimpy, same old vanilla Daedra armor. At this point, I've essentially given up-I'll just stick to ebony armor, and wait for KiKe to fix whatever the problem is. However, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a skimpy daedric armor set that; A) looked similar to the rest of KiKe's stuff in terms of body coverage; B) Is compatible with CBBE... I've looked at other skimpy daedra armors (i.e., Laxi2601) but those are too skimpy for my tastes, and others (i.e., MaikCG) are not compatible with CBBE. Thank you very much for your time, and if you want additional info, please ask-I'll try to be prompt with my response.
