  1. there has got to be a better way... this click-through nonsense kills the drive to build anything. Has anyone found a better method? fix? work-around? anything??
  2. this has me completely confused, just popped up today after loading my main save thats just started a NG+ yesterday. i can drop people with no issues but, using same gun, all animals act like i've hit them with EM...they drop for a few seconds, unlootable, then pop back up and try to eat me. Ive tried with multiple weapons, none of which are EM or even energy based. Happens on every planet with fauna. i have no fauna mods, the only new Mods i've added are paid mods... Falklands ship habs and Argos outpost buildings. I'm hoping someone has experienced this before and has a fix handy because i am at a loss...
  3. interesting... when i tried to load a save, with the error, it showed a pop-up telling me this save relied on mods that were no longer available....which was every mod in my order. luckily, reverting to older vortex seems to have fixed it.
  4. i appreciate the breakdown and the insights. although, to be clear, i wasn't complaining... just looking to the community for a possible workaround and guidance. rolling back to vortex 1.11.7 seems to have worked for me. hope that's somewhat helpful to any others with same issue. thanks everyone for taking the time to comment and help...i'm grateful for it all and it really does make a difference
  5. i understand that, i'm using the release version of the game.. was using the beta version of vortex. i downgraded to stable version of vortex and it seems to have helped. otherwise, i was just launching from sfse in game folder.
  6. i auto-updated vortex today, to 1.12.0-beta.1, and now its showing a warning about missing masters. Every mod in my load is missing masters starfield.esm and blueprintShips-starfield.esm. i have not changed anything, it was in working order before the auto-update. I can launch game via vortex sfse button (as i normally do), but no mods get loaded. i feel like there's probably something obvious i'm just missing... is there something else i need to download/update or change to get this working again? any help would be greatly appreciated..

  8. so many great building mods...yet so few of the buildings can actually be placed. the constant "selected item is floating" warning is maddening. its definitely NOT floating. is there a way around this? perhaps a mod i've overlooked?
  9. i'm having a frustrating time finding any patch notes... anyone know where theyre posted? seems so janky to unloose a hotfix without any accompanying info.
  10. any idea when the CK and update drop "tonight"? ...considering abandoning dinner plans lol

  12. same thing happened to me with FO4 "next gen" BS... its hella frustrating. sorry you had to deal with that nonsense
  13. that .nif mesh path migration tool worked wonders for me... had same issue with TGs colonies mod. works great again.
