  1. Hello everyone, firstly I apologize if this is at the wrong section. It might also fit the requests section, but my main question right now is whether such a mod already exists. I'm talking about a mod that replaces the player's voice when using shouts. Here I'm not necessarily talking about a custom voice-over. I'm curious whether there are any mods existing that change the pitch of the vanilla voice sounds to eventually make them sound younger. I have been browsing the mods for quite a while and I'm wondering if there is a simple mod with higher pitched vanilla voices. I remember that I used such a mod a very long time ago, but I cannot find it anymore nowadays. Is there anyone who could help me out with this? A link to such a mod would be quite cool. Note: I'm not looking for combat voice replacements, I already got these. Just the shouts are missing right now.
  2. Hello, I had the thought of making a music mod for the game. Reason for that is that the game lacks a bit of soundtrack variation. I like the style of the game's music, but I noticed the game doesn't have too many soundtracks in general, and I would like to expand the range of provided music. I would need someone who could take care of the technical/programming part of the mod while I take care of the music. If anyone is interested, feel free to send me a PM. If there is someone around producing music just as well and would like to create new soundtracks as well, you may contact me, too. Maybe we could collab then.
  3. In my opinion it's not really worth yet. As mentioned above, as long as SKSE for Skyrim SE isn't out yet, I have no reason to play that version. I have tried it already, but couldn't see much difference between the old release including many graphics mods and the special edition. Also I figured the SE seems to need way more resources. While I can play the old version at the maximum plus many mods, I only can play the SE on medium quality, which results that the game all in one looks worse. I personally wait one or two more years until SKSE for SE is done.
  4. Not sure if it's forcely caused by the game itself. Neither I think it's your PC. I have installed a bunch of graphics mods, most of them even are 4k textures if they offered them to download. The pity thing is that my PC specs in general are worse than yours. I have 16GB of RAM, a FX 8350 AMD processor and the GTX 1060 Ti with 6GB. My game runs with 50-60 FPS. Of course sometimes I happen to have FPS drops, but only occassionally when further textures are loading. However, there was a thing that made the game very laggy and also affected my CPU temperature by at least 20 degrees. Do you have any mods installed that you meet more enemies? I for example installed the 'Walking dead' mod that spawns zombies (like Draugr). Now after I was level 70+ the amount of zombies gained and sometimes there even were up to hundred zombies at once. That caused my game to heavily lag, my FPS went under 10 even. After I have uninstalled that mod, the game worked way better than before. I don't think it neccessarily is limited to graphics mods. Your CPU is quite new, which means that Skyrim, a 32bit application might not be able to use the full potential of the power. I advise you to download this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6491/? With it you can view your PC usage, such as your CPU, RAM and VRAM. Maybe you find something suspicious.
  5. Okey, I have found a solution by my own and for all those who happen to have the same issue, this simple trick will do it: - open the console - type 'enableplayercontrols' - go to the inventory - read the black book again Now you get out of Apocrytha and the quest continues as usual.
  6. Hey there, I have a problem in the temple of Miraak. I have found that black book standing in fire you have to read. When you read the book there is a quick loading screen and you see Miraak the first time introducing himself. However, at the point he says something like '... but you have no clue about the real power of a dragonborn!' the script obviously stops working for me. He doesn't continue talking to me and just nothing else happens. Firstly I thought it was normal and looked what to do at that scene, but I found out that my game is somewhat having issues. Miraak actually is about to do a spell on you and telling you that this isn't the place you have powers or something. Well yeah, my Miraak just stands around and stares at me laying at the ground. I already tried to load a savegame before I read the book and also have I restarted the game, but it happens over and over again. Anyone who had that issue aswell and knows how to make it work again? I don't really want to start from begin as I'm level 70 already which took me weeks of playing... I surely have installed a bunch of mods (NMM, SKSE), but I don't really have a clue which one would make a conflict with the script of that scene, maybe a shout mod as it stops when Miraak is about to do a shout? To make is very precise: At 1:27 is the point when nothing more happens to me, right before Miraak does that shout.
  7. Name: Elisot Race: Kitsune Age: Teen (something between 16 and 18) Height: 0.95 Best skills: Marksman, Sneak Resistance: 50% fire, 30% frost Characteristics: Cute, fair, lawful, only killing when neccessary Favourite weapons: Crossbows Clothes: Fur parts that have been created by herself to stand the frosty north. Elisot has some instincts of a fox, which means that her senses are quite sharp and she is able to notice enemies from far away already. Her sneaking is fantastic, moving like a fether in the winds and her aim for bows and crossbows is nearly perfect. Elisot arrived Skyrim as she was expelled by her lands. She probably is the only Kitsune in Skyrim, at least she hasn't found anyone of the same race yet. Elisot is a lawful person who mostly only kills people and animals for surviving purposes. She barely visits towns and villages. She kinda enjoys the loniness. It seems she had arrived Skyrim by pure fate, right at the time when the dragons returned and it turned out she is a Dragonborn. She quickly understood what her job was and learned very speedy. Four years later... Elisot has saved the whole Skyrim by defeating Alduin for good. All the principalities were indebted to her and she quickly got to huge wealth. She has built her own castle, which became the most impressive building in whole Skyrim. Elisot now also learned how to use two-handed weapons and made a Tachi become her new best friend. After she has explored most of the Dwemer ruins, she collected the needed material to create an exoskeleton which improves her runspeed and jump height, so she became even stronger. Now knowing any kind of dragon shouts and her excellent combat skills made her unconquerable to every human creature. Of course Elisot's characteristics hasn't changed a bit and the now grown young lady still is very warm-hearted. People always are welcome to visit her impressive castle, Elisot surely would invite them for a nice dinner, if she's not out on adventures! By the way, Elisot decided not to kill Paarthurnax. He might be a Dragon, but Elisot understood the things Paarthurnax has done in the past very well and they both stayed in contact and became friends. Elisot surely kept it a secret. She didn't want people starting to hunt that good-natured dragon! I hope you like her background story
  8. Thank you  However, the ending is pretty much like the original  Here are some more auditions that might match to Skyrim
  9. Thank you for the neat comment. Unfortunately, I actually haven't played Fallout too much. I think I have played New Vegas for a half hour but that's it. There wouldn't be any problem in making custom music for that game aswell, but this would take lots of time. Well, let me tell you about my point of view. I have been making music for few different games already with different genres. I don't lie if I say that I am actually able to create any kind of music, I do have the needed equipment and plugins for that. However, all those plugins were quite expensive and I surely have paid a total amount of 10,000 euros to have all those high quality instruments, choirs, drums and such. So my point is that I probably won't be investing time in making custom music for a game I haven't played that much, unlike Skyrim that definitely is at my top 5 games at the moment. As I don't have eternally much of time, I mostly look for a little payment for my work if there are special requests for certain games or just own usage. Making a song might take up to a week of work. After all, I don't think I will produce music for Fallout. I am here to make a custom music mod with someone and release it for free to honor one of my favourite games, but Fallout doesn't belong to it. However, thank you very much for that comment, I adore when people tell me that they like my work. If you are interested, you can check through my Youtube channel, I use to make much of Dubstep genre at the moment, mostly mixing it with other genres. I enjoy making a mix of Orchestral Dubstep or something more unique: Jazz Dubstep.
  10. Hey there, firstly I want to apologize if it's the wrong section for that kind of stuff. Would be nice if a moderator would move it then. I am Mayarilana, but also known as Vociferous on Youtube. I make many different kinds of music, be it electronic or orchestral, but related to the game I would like to talk about orchestral music. I recently started making music for Skyrim and I am looking for someone I can make mods together. I have no clue how to make mods as that isn't really my thing, or lets say I haven't spent much time in trying out. So what I look for is someone who has some knowledge about how to replace or add music to the game. My first projects were a replacement for the main menu theme, I rebuilt the theme and made it sound more actionful as I used more drums and in addition I added a female choir next to the male one (we all know women are at least as strong as men, if not even stronger!). Have a check here: Also I have created a replacement for the Blackreach theme. It's not very actionful, but I made it sound very mysterious and slightly dangerous. It's my favourite area of the game, so mysterious, so awesome, such a privilege to be there! I have no sample for listening yet, but feel free to download the file here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/jz9uf6whbvbaggl/Blackreach.mp3 If there is any modder interested in working with me, then just leave me a private message  Cheers!
