As stated in your tutorial for connection speed, I changed the server to the one I had the best performance on, which is Prague. Next I am going to switch my ISP and see if that helps and how much. I do not use any VPN. I generally get EXTREMELY good download speeds from the vast majority of sources. Here is a speed test result: https://www.speedtest.net/result/9598139849
  2. Yeah I could use an extension :) Please give me a link if you have one in mind.
  3. Ok so then that settles why on my laptop I can use it as intended seeing as how I used it some time ago, presumably before Chrome version 77.
  4. Just tried to use Edge and it has a different pop-up. Asking if I really intended to switch apps :)) Guess edge is a no go :)
  5. I already checked in default programs and i do not have any entry for NXM. I tried 3 times already to deassociate links in Vortex and the behavior is the same.
  6. So on my laptop which I am using right now, i have "Version 77.0.3865.120 (Official Build) (64-bit)" and it does not behave the same way. It works as intended, when I click the mod manager download link it just has Vortex do a download. No pop-up. So it can't just be Chrome's fault. Something else is also happening . . .
  7. I also have a laptop and this does not happen on the laptop. Going to check what version of Chrome i have on the laptop but i usually keep things up to date.
  8. @HadToRegister: I did use the Fix now button but it did not do anything. It just gave me a message saying no change was necessary. @Tannin42: It doesn't matter what the phrasing is. It asks me that every time i click a "mod manager download" link with Vortex open or not.
  9. I use Chrome. I have most definitely not changed the association. At least not on purpose :)
  10. I am not trying to stop using Vortex. I am trying to bypass a window that appears when I click on "mod manager download". Instead of sending the link to Vortex, it gives me a pop-up to open Vortex, after which if i click Open, it works as intended. Vortex is running this entire time.
  11. Yeah thx :) How about the browser thing you mentioned ? Do you mean a setting in windows in default programs ?
  12. Please elaborate on that. I also notice I lack the Extensions tab . . .
  13. Hi there, So I have a question. I recently started using Vortex to manage mods for Code Vein. I see a rather strange behavior that I have not noticed earlier(other times I used Vortex or NMM for Skyrim mods). I click the download with manager link and then I get a pop up window asking to open Vortex regardless if it's open or not. I really have no clue how to search for any info on this. I remember not having this situation back a few years ago with NMM. I checked and it's not just Code Vein mods but also Witcher 3. I have no other games installed that the manager supports so can't test more. Is there a way to get rid of this behavior ? I tried to give admin privileges to Vortex but I got a warning that it was not a good idea. Thx for your time and have a nice day/night.
