  1. Thank you to everyone who fought this! I hope that if they ever try to pull this with Fallout 4 or Elder Scrolls 6, we will all come together once more=)
  2. Long live the PC gaming master race, long live the Nexus! #ForeverFree
  3. I just googled it and then I felt like slapping myself. There's owls on a ton of the ancient nordic ruin door puzzles. I also found a "Helmet of the Owl" in Oblivion, so there is most definitely owls in Tamriel.
  4. I remember I used to have this long, long ago. So I'm going to guess either it's in the vanilla game or there is one in the better vampires mod. Either way, I know I've had it.
  5. Tamriel doesn't have owls? Personally I'd prefer a bat, though=) I'm pretty sure the better vampires mod lets you turn into a mist, but a bat would be so much cooler. Great idea! No, but there is a mod that does that. I just think it easier to mod it using a base game animal. I think there is owls, somewhere like highrock? They do fit oblivion. But birds are generally new things in TES games. If you are talking about the bat travel mod it's not quite the same thing imo as it's a swarm of bats and not an individual one. I like the idea of an owl as long as they exist in the actual lore, I don't think it matters where in Tamriel they are present, as long as they are present. As for the amount of work it is of course more logical to use an already existing in-game model to cut down on the work. But I think in the end it all comes down to who would pick it up and which kind of flight form he (or she) would feel passionate about making.
  6. I agree, but this skyrim. So it not owls but dragons, hagraven and the triangles  Tamriel doesn't have owls? Personally I'd prefer a bat, though=) I'm pretty sure the better vampires mod lets you turn into a mist, but a bat would be so much cooler. Great idea!
  7. I'm not going to pretend I understand all this technical stuff, but yes, I can definitely see a lot of clipping issues. But I think, at least with big ones like in the picture it could be made to at least look decent?
  8. It's been ages since I posted a mod request but today it just struck me out of nowhere, 3 years has passed and still there is no mod that implements snakes into Skyrim? We have rats, spiders, zombies, and all kinds of creepers, but not a single snake is anywhere to be seen. I think a mod needs to be made, they could either be normal critter-like snakes, or giant sea snakes, or both, it doesn't matter to me. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say a lot of work on the animation side is why no one's done this yet? Either way I think they have their place in Skyrim and that they would add a lot to the overall gaming experience, just knowing these slithering little devils are out there. I think one of our modding wizards should consider making it reality=) Taken from The Elder Scrolls Online: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130622162923/elderscrolls/images/9/90/Giant_Snake_Battle.jpg
  9. I like this idea. As for lorewise, it could be a dwemer train on an underground railroad. It seems likely to me with all ruins laying about that they would be somehow connected.
  10. That's about the first thing I've tried, but thanks for the input.
  11. I wouldn't have made a thread unless I'd already looked around these forums, mayhap, I've missed something, but either way, I can't find anything (which I haven't tried already), hence the thread.
  12. So yeah, as the title says.. been toying around with console commands for a while now but with no success, I've run out of ideas and so has google. So if there's anyone who knows a combination of commands that they know for a fact will work, please share!
  13. Can't one of you talented modders whip up a quick fix, this is driving me mad, tempted to go Dawnguard instead and show them who the f*** is mortal...
  14. Indeed, I've been thinking this as well, when I played WoW I had around 80 keybinds on my warlock, I feel completely gimped with the lack of hotkeys in Skyrim.
