  1. Doesn't look like this is going to happen, huh? Shame. I was kind of looking forward to it.
  2. According to Ranjeet Singhal, who was an artist on the team for The Dark Prophecy, the game was going to be like Defiance, but instead of switching between Kain and Raziel, it would switch between Elder Kain and his younger counterpart. This is supposedly the model that was going to be used for the younger Kain. I don't know if that's true or if it was just Ranjeet trying to give Legacy of Kain fans something juicy to nibble on, but this model of Kain is pretty cool, one way or the other, and if this hairstyle could be added into Skyrim, along with the really wicked outfit, perhaps titled 'Balance Armor' in recognition of Kain's role as the Balance Guardian and the idea that Elder Kain's armor, which is only slightly different, would be called 'Vampire Emperor Regalia' or something along those lines, I could really enjoy myself. There's just so many wonderful ways you could integrate Nosgoth into Skyrim that I just keep coming up with more ideas.
  3. I don't think that it's a matter of 'If you like Kain, you must hate Raziel' or 'If you like Raziel, you must hate Kain for what he did to him'. I think that if you look into it, what Kain did to Raziel wasn't in any way an act of cruelty. It was an act of trust, if you will. He removed Raziel from the Wheel of Fate and thereby gave him free will. He trusted Raziel to do the right thing with that free will, and it all worked out in the end. Although we can all probably agree that Raziel looked a lot better BEFORE his little swim in the Abyss. Kain loved Raziel as his firstborn, his strongest son and most trusted lieutenant. You can tell that Kain still cares a great deal about Raziel and regrets what he had to do. It's especially noticeable in Legacy of Kain: Defiance. Eventually, Raziel realizes that and so entrusts his very soul to Kain, knowing that if anybody has a chance at finishing all of this, it would have been Kain. And then they canceled The Dark Prophecy. Jerks. Anyway, Blood Omen 2 had some interesting things in it, yeah. I was downright confused as to how it fit in with the rest of the Legacy of Kain story until I took a closer look at Soul Reaver 2's ending, when Kain alters history by twinning Raziel's soul inside the Reaver blade and yanking it out just in time, then says 'My God... the Hylden!! We walked... right into their trap! Raziel! Janos Audron must STAY dead!' Well, if you recall, Blood Omen 2 has Kain doing battle with the Hylden, who posed as various members within the Sarafan and gave them anti-vampire technology, and at the end, Janos is possessed by the Hylden spirits. So basically, Blood Omen 2 is the 'Altered History' that changes when Kain pulled his trick in Soul Reaver 2. Somehow we could add some of that wicked Anti-Vampire technology the Hylden used into Skyrim. You could have anti-vampire gates you would have to find a way around, either through use of the Mind Control power to control the guy on the other side to get him to flip the switch or by somehow cutting off power, you could have quests where you have to rescue your fellow vampires, maybe in a vampire faction called 'The Cabal', which was the faction led by Vorador in BO2, and an option to play on a different vampire faction, like the Vampire Council or one of the various Clans represented on it. If you chose to join the Sarafan/Dawnguard, you could have quests for wiping out the Cabal and leading strikes against the Clans. Kain had some pretty cool clothes in BO2, as well. They could be called 'Cabal Armor' because several Cabal vampires are seen wearing similar garb, but with red scarves and hoods. I had almost forgotten about the Mist ability, and that would be great for a rogue-type character. It allowed Kain to drift over water without harm and pass through bars, broken windows and grates as if they weren't there. It could be a Toggle power, and when used in a misty area, a stealth skill, as in Blood Omen 2 Kain could use it to blend in with the mist, sneak up behind people and assassinate them. It could be used to reduce or entirely eliminate fall damage. As far Claws, there's already a mod out there that gives the Khajiit Claw Fighting unarmed animations to vampires. All you'd need is that mod and for all of the 'Vampire' armor to give bonuses to Unarmed damage. Maybe somebody could create some new claw-themed killcams, because right now all unarmed killcams feature either a pugilist fashion beatdown or a wrestling move. Maybe the killcams could include ripping off somebody's head for a decapitation kill, shoving your claws into their chests for an impalement kill, or if used from behind, Kain's BO2 neck-breaking skill.
  4. Yeah, there was some downright wicked stuff in Blood Omen. All of the spells/items (Like Flay and Mind Control!) in the first Blood Omen, maybe the inclusion of some of the weapons and armor, like the Bone Armor, Chaos Armor, Flesh Armor and Wraith Armor would be amazing. That could actually be part of a line of quests where the player travels through areas similar to the Blood Omen dungeons they were found in. Maybe the inclusion of the Mind Control / Charm powers where you assume control of an NPC while rendering yourself invincible and invulnerable, but also unable to move could be used to take control of an NPC across a chasm or behind some bars next to a switch that opens the door. The weapons in the first Blood Omen weren't anything fantastic, though. Iron Sword, Spiked Mace, Dual Axes and Flame Sword are all basically already in Skyrim with new looks. In order, that's Bone Armor, Chaos Armor, Flesh Armor and Wraith Armor. There could be quests to obtain these armors from various Vampire Crypts hidden all over the world, which of course would be new dungeons. The Bone Armor allowed Kain to deceive weak Undead, and so maybe while wearing the Bone Armor, you'd be considered on the Ally faction with Draugr so they wouldn't try to off you. The Chaos Armor inflicted twice the damage that Kain received back to his enemies, so maybe it could have an enchantment kind of like that, or maybe implement it as an increase to damage or something. The Flesh Armor drank blood for Kain so he wouldn't have to, so Kain didn't have to stagger enemies then drink. It could have a Drain Health effect, but I don't think you can apply that to armor. Kain's Wraith Armor put him half in the Spectral Realm, half in the Material Realm so damage he took was divided equally between his health and his mana. I figure that all of those effects would be difficult to implement, though, so just giving them regular enchantments would probably work just as well. Kain really is probably still the coolest video game character I've ever played to this very day. He's probably my favorite character of all time. I just like Vampire Raziel's clothes better. Wraith Raziel is kind of freaky looking, but he was a cool character. I still like Kain the best, and I'd probably sell one of my kidneys for The Dark Prophecy to get made.
  5. Ever since Dawnguard came out, I've been playing a vampire a lot lately, and I really like the feel of the vampires vs hunters feel. I've always really loved the LEGACY OF KAIN series, and ever since Dark Prophecy was canceled, it's been basically a dead series. I'd love for it to be revived, in spirit, anyway, in Skyrim. The vampire Council that Kain raises in Soul Reaver wore some pretty cool armor that I think would be amazing Light Armor for a vampire character. As they were all males, it would require a bit of imagination to make a female version, but it could work. I've got a few images of them. It's also fair to assume that some people would like to have shields, too. You could take each Clan's symbol and put it on a shield that's colored like that particular Clan's flag. I've saved a few images of clan symbols, but I couldn't say for sure what each clan's color is. You'd probably need a helmet with no model to give the armor bonus, but still allow your face to be seen, as there isn't a helmet on the Vampire Council. Alright, running out of Jpeg space, so I'm going to start using links instead... This is the last Clan symbol I could find, anyway. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120525162443/legacyofkain/images/thumb/f/fe/SR1-Icon-Symbol-Raziel.jpg/480px-SR1-Icon-Symbol-Raziel.jpg Now, while all of that's great, fine and dandy for people who want to play vampires, some people are inexplicably drawn to playing a vampire hunter. In the LEGACY OF KAIN universe, the vampire hunters are called 'The Sarafan'. One could possibly re-skin the Dawnguard as these guys, even maybe put the symbol on shields and the like. I've used screens that have the Sarafan's weapons included, but they're not fantastic images. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121229083531/legacyofkain/images/c/cf/SR2-Enemy-SWPikeman-Close.PNG http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121229083532/legacyofkain/images/0/02/SR2-Enemy-SWSwordman-Close.PNG http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121229083532/legacyofkain/images/f/f5/SR2-Enemy-SWSorceress-Close.PNG http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110627171203/legacyofkain/images/thumb/9/93/Priestess.jpg/225px-Priestess.jpg http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110127191552/legacyofkain/images/thumb/9/93/Sarafan_Priest_%28Defiance%29.jpg/261px-Sarafan_Priest_%28Defiance%29.jpg http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111127142134/legacyofkain/images/a/a3/S.jpg Aside from appearances, there could be quests with a LEGACY OF KAIN feel, like restoring the Pillars of Nosgoth, assassinating Sarafan/Dawnguard priests of high ranking, forging and enhancing the Soul Reaver, maybe quests where you make use of the Reaver as a key to enter new dungeons, including a new Conjuration spell that summons the Wraith Blade as a Bound Weapon, a new spell that resembles the Firebolt, but with a blue coloration, labeled 'Telekinetic Bolt'. Maybe if possible, as Vampires work along the perks, they could 'Evolve', becoming less human and more divine, to quote Soul Reaver, where the Vampires could change over time and eventually look more like their 'Vampire Lord' form rather than their regular human form. Since not everybody would enjoy that kind of transformation, there'd have to be an option to turn it off. But not everybody has Dawnguard, and they might still enjoy the armors, so it would be nice if the armors could be included separately who don't have Dawnguard. Before I got it myself, I always had to sigh and look away whenever I came across a cool mod that required Dawnguard. While there wouldn't be a way to divide the whole mod from Dawnguard, since so much vampire stuff was included in Dawnguard, people could at least get the armor and see what it looks like in-game, which might be some more incentive to buy Dawnguard. I don't know how much of this is really possible, or if any of it would violate some kind of copyrights, but if any of it's possible, I'd really, really love to see this happen.
  6. I don't know, I like that first image more. I do wish somebody would take up this project, though.
  7. It's unbearable!!! The shadows of all the things on the screen follow my movements of my camera, and nothing seems to help. If I look one direction, the shadows are ugly, but they're generally in the right place. I turn the camera around, and all of a sudden nothing makes sense. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15105 That mod fixed the shadows, but made my game completely unplayable, as it destroyed my FPS and I found myself unable to even swing a sword without lag. I run the game on medium with NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS. I don't know crap about how good that is, but all I know was until Skyrim 1.5, I didn't have this shadow problem. Can somebody PLEASE tell me how to fix this issue, because with ENB the shadows are fixed, but I'm really not a fan of anything else that mod does, and without it, the shadows flip out whenever I move. It's terrible!! Please, somebody help! EDIT: It only happens in third person, which is my primary vision. In 1st person, everything just... flickers.
  8. I think it would be really cool if Dovahkiin sprinted like the Jedi in Star Wars Battlefront II, where they kind of bound rather than just move their legs faster. Would anybody be willing to make something like that?
  9. It doesn't seem like it's that hard. Vampires already have extended canines at maximum vampire morph, and the claws don't seem that hard to make. However, that's just conjecture; I don't actually know how to mod like that.
  10. I'd like for somebody to maybe make Squall's clothes from either FF8, Dissida Final Fantasy, or the Kingdom Hearts series. Preferably his Final Fantasy 8 clothes, but the Dissidia or Kingdom Hearts clothes are fine, too. I can't mod worth crap, or I'd do it myself. Anybody, please?http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs44/f/2009/120/7/6/Squall_Leonhart_by_JocelynJEG.jpg
  11. Awesome! Do you know where I can find Commander Shepard's armor and an Omni-Blade dagger? I'm taking a look at Skyrim 40000 now, and I already have the Energy Sword, Tali's armor, and Gravity hammer. I got the lightsabers and force powers as soon as I got Skyrim, and the DBZ scouter I got made me CTD, and the flintlock pistol looked nice, but staff animation was crap. I've tried a lot of these already. I'm glad to meet somebody else who isn't a lore nazi.
  12. I remember that game! I borrowed it from a friend. I loved it, right up to disc 3 where I had to fight four of those godzilla things and kill them before they reach that city. I never did manage to do it, so I just ended up giving it back to my friend. I'd like to see somebody make his default sword, too. It looked pretty cool. Yeah, the one in the image.
  13. ...YES. I would wear this stuff. I would walk around just wearing this. I have the wings already, no issue there, but I want the ARMOR. I'd wear regular Gallantmon armor, too. That shield and that lance, mm! It would be pretty sweet. Imperialdramon's stuff would be cool, too. I can't see them really implementing an arm cannon, though, so Imperialdramon Paladin mode. But what I personally think would trump them all? Agunimon's armor. They could make the hair part of the helmet, and I would have no complaints. Agunimon looked awesome. Damn it, now I want somebody to make a Digimon mod. Any of those bipedal humanoid digimon would make sweet sets of armor. Clavis Angemon, Seraphimon, (Ophanimon could be the girl variant) the Wargreymon/Blackwargreymon/Wargreymon X stuff would be wicked.... Now I'm going to be thinking about Digimon armors all night. Great. I definitely support this, though.
  14. So go download Creation Kit from steam. Pretty easy fix. If for some reason you can't, you could try SkyEdit, savvy? It's not as good as CK but it can at least copy/past the Daedric Greatsword's stats and then let you add the Health drain.
