Hey guys, apologies ahead of time as im sure this has probably been asked a ton of times but im hoping that someone can help me get a basic modded skyrim that doesn't cause lots of bugs and crashes.
I put in a good 12 hours of downloading/redownloading skyrim, trying different mod launchers/managers, testing as i went untill i had around 20 mods that finally got through the first couple hours of gameplay with minor annoyances that i could deal with. The more i played however the more the game would crash. I found removing OBIS related mods helped with that a bit but i was i bit bummed out because i liked the mod.
Im determined not to play another stealth archer class so i installed better magic and college of winterhold mods as well. I couldnt even get past the first level as the arch mage was outside of winterhold fighting wolves -.-.
I'm pretty dissapointed and put off from clearing everything and starting again just to have it go wrong AGAIN.
I'm Running windows 7 64 bit and i own the original skyrim with all expansions.
I'm Looking for recommendations for
the best mod manager:
A handful of mods from all categories, enough to make a difference but nothing too crazy such as Graphics,NPCS,Better cities, Magic, enchanments, etc that are known to work together + any support mods i may need to install.
