About fullarmor2

  1. The magic in Skyrim with all the possible mods is mindblowingly awesome. How could it not be something you get into? I've also been able to improve shouting with some great mods. Have you seen Thunderchild, Better dragon Shouts, or Dragonfire ? That's what I got and its pretty incredible.
  2. I found a really cool mod on the net, just go into mods at the menu screen. Haven't seen it on Nexus yet. Its called Every School Damage Magic ! I like it. Also you need the awesome shout mods that are available. Just search on Nexus. I'm using Thunderchild, Better Dragon Shouts(oldrim but works great), and Dragonfire(oldrim mod but works great). Also theres a mods that adds an alternate route to High Rothgar. Its a huge internal cave system in the mountain. Very well done. I love it, plus you get to encounter the ghosts of ancient Greybeards. How cool is that?!
  3. Just thought I'd share that I found an awesome mod on the net that I couldn't find on Nexus. In case you've been like me and you don't look at the net as much as I do Nexus. The mod I found on the net is called Every School Damage Magic ! It adds two offensive spells to the nonoffensive schools of magic. Illusion, Restoration, and Alteration. It also adds two to Conjuration since all the offense there are summons spells. This allows for specialization role plays with the schools without having to resort to Destruction magic. The new spells are awesome with cool affects. I liked it and idea of it so much I'm here sharing about it. That's all.
  4. In response to post #43643155. #43654780, #43657270, #43657865, #43658325, #43661225, #43662885, #43662930, #43662960, #43680325, #43681585 are all replies on the same post. This was a brilliant move by Bethesda. They will make a s#*! load of money from the consoles. Making the Skyrim PC'er modding experience available for the console game users is an extremely marketable idea. And for the record, I played my first couple hours with the special edition and I had a great time. I was impressed overall. I didn't have a single crash or freeze. And the load times were very fast. And overall it looked great for an unmodded game. 64 bit potential! I do agree about the haze though. That was annoying to me. But I would assume that modding will take care of any issue right? So I'm expecting the special edition to be the best experience of Skyrim in time.
  5. Lets do it baby! I'm ready for Skyrim again! I'm only going to manually install a few simple mods until NMM is updated. Such as some spell mods and what not. It won't be long and we'll get the SKSE update also, along with NMM. And Mod creation and updating will really get going. I can't wait!
  6. It says this on the description area for the patch. "DO NOT extract the contents of the BSA file into your Data folder as loose files, or let your mod manager peform an equivalent function on the contents of the file. Doing so will cause things to load in the wrong order and break the game. Skyrim is intended to load a BSA alongside it's ESM/ESP file" I don't get it? After I download the patch, is it ok for me to install it with Nexus Mod Manager? What the hell is a BSA file that's being mentioned in this warning? Will NMM extract and install this the right way? Or do I have to worry about NMM extracting the contents into the data folder as loose files, which the warning warns against?
  7. Thanks. That makes sense that Steam would do that. Awesome!
  8. I just installed the Legendary edition from a dvd I bought at Amazon. I installed and got Steam. I activated the hi-res textures offered there on Steam. Now, do I have to update the game from Bethesda, an offical patch perhaps, before I start modding and adding the unofficial patches and everything else? Thanks.
  9. Yes! That is awesome! And yes I am a newb. lol I'm getting ready to do pc gaming for the first time, and with Skyrim. I can't wait. I only used Xbox and Playstation consoles before now.
  10. How do you control how often these kill scenes happen? I want it to happen a lot less. It happens too much! Thanks.
