  1. RaceMenu 0.4.16 Memory Leak Hotfix (SE) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) heres a memory patch for race menu, it seems you are correct, andryvsh. havent confirmed.
  2. Trying to purge my mods and it says that it couldnt locate fallout4custom.ini.base Had to add in the custom ini on fallout 4 reinstall, idk if thats related I just want to start over I think Ive removed the mods manually by selecting all-> remove but these mods have survived everything so far help
  3. I had a feeling that'd be the answer. Im brand new to this. sigh.... Is working with maya and putting it into fallout a huge leap? I knew I shouldnt have put off learning maya.
  4. Ive gotten rid of all textures, and its still not letting me touch some of them. Bitchfest time: Man, age mythology editor was f*ckin awesome. Late nineties, place as many textures as you want. Edit heights simply, sample elevation, soften, use the cliff tool or paint it on, you pick. Looked the same with half as many functions. only downside was a lack of gradients beyond the mixes provided. And forget needing to search for solutions on a forum, play with it for half an hour and youre a master. Whats the point of two decades of progress if the result is fewer options with twice the complexity?
  5. this isnt working for me, even if i use a texture im already using to cover it up and delete extras, theres an L-shape here and a few spots there that wont change. Any other ideas?
  6. Fresh eyes do one a lot of good! I searched a few different keywords and already solved it. Now I feel like im playing chess with myself, but ill reply and leave this up in case some other fool runs into the same mishap. You see, originalsnub, when you load the file in progress you must click the button that sets it as an active plugin in the load menu, something you might have noticed if you looked at more tutorials rather than your usual M.O. of playing aimlessly to learn. Idiot. maybe someone else will find this helpful, or better yet, maybe no one will read this at all.
  7. [FIXED] Hello all, Im really starting to feel like an idiot. Working on an interior cell from scratch, and the first session goes fine. I return, add more (at the moment its just objects, Im a beginner and havent gotten any farther.) On my second session Im getting problems. When I try to save it, it says an error, "this file is either a master or is currently in use." I cant close the file bc its not saved. The very first attempt I made I saved it under a different name only to find the second save didnt include what I had built the first time. My only guess is the 177mb "limit" listed a the top, which Ive noticed is exceeded by large amounts in many vanilla cells, and that (I believe) it wanted me to save it as something called a TES file, cant even find that in a search. Both instances the only consistency is this limit being exceeded on the second session. the second cell attempt, after trying to press the save icon rather than file-save, said the same, but after that I couldnt even save it as something else--- after doing this, the error message is the only thing i get trying to save at all. Lost a few hours of work, but more importantly, I cant find any info on this at all, though i feel someone has to have blundered into this same problem. What am I doing wrong? Im willing to take the plunge into learning as much as I can, but I cant even make progress with just placing objects, and unless theres something wrong with my ck install, its disheartening to learn that even the process of saving just cant be like autoCAD, Adobe, Rhino, and all the other progams Ive learned as well as just about every other program in existence since the 90s. If anyone can even point me in a direction to research, I would be grateful.
