I had no problem switching back and forth between the two. For Firefox, I just had to clear history for the browser (all of it), then reopened it and it allowed me to work that way. Then for Chrome, there's an option in NMM's settings that allows you to fix how it handles the download links (requires admin privileges and the browser closed). Worked on my end as I'm not fully committing to Vortex just yet, but can still still switch between the way either handles links without a problem....

I got it working thank you for your help :)
  2. Definitely one for a clever modder. Would sure be a hot mod though. I haven't downloaded the dual melee mod yet but I'm guessing they borrowed the animations from Skyrim. So there's the left hand 1st/3rd animations that would have to be made/borrowed from somewhere, and then you would have 2 options, the easy way: make the dual pistols its own weapon with unique animations and use the same button to fire both, or the method of boss modders, scripting in dual wielding as its own combat mode and change the bash button to the second fire button for the left hand when in dual wield mode, also allowing the player to use existing single handed weapons in unison. Any takers? Just a thought, seems like a fairly straightforward mod that could go a long way, I'd do it myself but last game I modded was Morrowind and I'm running on a GTX 970, for some reason the GECK doesn't even like loading up on my system. Kinda wish I knew more about using FO4edit, not even sure TESedit was around when I was modding but I could be wrong.

I second this request this sounds really cool, it could be faked by replicating the gun model and adding a fake hand attached to it, rigging and animation would be difficult though

  3. Heya. I'm re-doing this request because i didn't think I worded what i was requesting very well. Don't know how to delete my old post either (sorry).

Mainly I'm pretty surprised there aren't any quality retextures for our 12 companions ***that stick with the vanilla looks. The best I've found so far is "Companion Rextextures" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25852/?tab which looks frickin great! But only does Cait, Piper, and Curie... I'm super surprised there isn't anything for Nick Valentine, Hancock (and his coat), or even Dogmeat! It does get a little tiring looking at those sometimes blurry textures after hours and hours of playing! X)

All the other mods available change the companion's appearance, sometimes drastically, which is really no fun for us players who just want to keep their classic, vanilla appearance.

I can't be alone in this can I?

Theres a lot idk where your looking? Dogmeat has a s#*! ton everywhere, and I found hancocks and coat retexts in like 2 seconds by searching hancock coat, nick valentine has very nice retex called valentine reborn which I personally use. If you just dont want blurry textures I suggest getting the high quality texture pack for fallout 4 from steam as long as your computer can handle it.

  4. Just a random though, I have seen a lot of mods out there that allow for you to save you spouse or add additional dialogue to the game either by using the existing voice lines or using silent lines. I was just curious if any talented voice actors out there and a modder have considered making a voice replacer mod. I understand this is something that would take an enormous amount of work and dedication but I was wondering if anyone had considered it, especially anyone who is making their own quest mods.

If anybody is actually considering this I would volunteer to be a voice actor for Nate.

  5. There are plenty of mods to increase enemy spawns etc but, can someone please make a mod where you can choose less spawns, much less! A few different levels of it in fact and also delete certain spawn points.

There are literally enemies around every corner and it kills the barren wasteland feel F3 and NV had. It should be fairly uncommon to bump into enemies in my personal opinion.

If anyone can make a mod that does this I'd be very grateful. Thank you!

Great idea! Wish there were less humans and super mutants and more creatures like ants like in fnv or radscorpions, stingwings or something else

  6. Oh the limbs and heads still fly off when you shoot them just the armor stays intact.. You people will have to pretend they blew a hole in the back of the armor. Yea it's a bit off but to be totally honest that's one glitch I will have to live with because I would have to completely change synths and I have no clue where to even start. (not to mention all the other complications that could cause).

Yes I am giving them full sets of armor. Helmets and suits for all. a few get paudruns, kamas, and ammo pouches.

To fix that your could replace the files that the synth body has with storm trooper armor, so basically replace the synth models with storm trooper combined mesh. The problem is that rigging it and editing the nifs are very time consuming and confusing thats actually what im stuck on for my mod.

  7. Goal: Remove useless content in city area to make game have more areas for expansion and/or performance gain. This project aims to add more areas for mods to be created and areas to be explored differently. A new open area for modders or you with a settlement system creating and allow everyone a little bit more freedom. My goal is for modders to use that area to make new factions or make a new lootable area instead, the possibilities are endless and would allow modders to make fallout 4 better.

Reason: I see a problem with the way Bethesda treated the game world in some areas as filler content using the same buildings next to each other or in other places urked me and lack of content or filler content was noticeable.

What do I ask of you?: Well supporting this mod would be greatly appreciated. But I have another task that is possible. Quests are a main concern for this project. Areas that are removed might cause you not be able to obtain that quest or not be able to finish it. I have begun marking areas that can be removed but help would be appreciated.

Help/Support: If you are willing to help and you have knowledge of the Creation Kit and think you might be able to help me please contact me at [email protected] or through Twitter @dlprodukce and I will be able to assign you to a role you may be comfortable with. Sorry, but no, it is not a paid "Job" As I barely have enough money to take care of myself. Textures and models for new buildings may be wanted as well as scripting for quests to change the objective so quests are not broken for people. Help or assistance manipulating the game content in creation kit may be needed as there is a lot of assets in the city areas and i'm only one person so help removing parts of cell areas may be needed too if that's something your interested in.

Note: I am in school and this I a personal project so do not expect the mod to be done soon. I am also going to keep supporting this mod even after its release and plan to actually add my own town or quest mod as an add-on for this.
