I don't think we are disagreeing. I just think that we just have different approaches. In my case, the choice was easy: the old PSU didn't work and the new one had more power than I needed but it happened to be on sale for the same price as lesser PSUs so I got it. Besides, I'd rather overdo it in this department and just get what I know beyond a shadow of a doubt will do the trick instead of calculating the power consumption of each individual part, adding all the figures together and getting exactly what I need based on the exact total power consumption. It's just easier. It's like diet and exercise: on one hand, you could figure out your body weight, go to a doctor to get your body fat percentage, calculate your body fat mass, calculate your lean body mass, figure out your Basal Metabolic Rate, determine how many pounds of fat you need to lose, calculate how many calories you burn per minute of jogging, calculate how many calories you need to burn to lose 1 pound of fat, and then use all this data to determine that you will reach your goal on March 16th, 2014 at 6:43pm -OR- you could just say, "I'm going to eat lot's of veggies, some fruit, a handful of meat, and then jog every day." Both will work. I took the second approach. LOL Let's not get upset though. We're all here for the same reasons and how one chooses to play Skyrim (or any game for that matter) is his/her own prerogative. You can't fault anybody for making their choice. If it works for them, it's not a wrong choice. Getting back to the original topic, would we upgrade our computers to play Skyrim? If Skyrim doesn't run on our current setup, I think I speak for everyone here when I say, "HELL YES!"
